I completed this course about 5 months ago. I have my license now. My teacher made it fun. I Highly recommend Mr. Cliff he taught me how to turn in curves and how to drive better. I did have a problem where I had to fill out paper work again because the The Owner Mr.Stan had misplaced them. I was kinda upset, but he found them. Overall he has quick and efficient service and this was the school that took me in when other schools were full. TOTALLY Worth 500$!

Their class is very easy and they make sure that you understand everything. They take the time to really teach you everything but at the same time move at a good pace for class. Great teacher and owner. Great school for anyone trying to get their license, doesn’t take long after class to do the behind the wheel and get your license. I am very satisfied with the school.P.S before you call to sign up for the class you need your tip card.

If you want to learn how to drive, or have a driving school that has a lack of interest and a lack of care and organization skills, this is your place! If you are a minor, minority, or a woman and want to be treated differently from white men, this is your place!! If you want to feel discriminated against even when it is the fault of the business themselves, but they are too ignorant to understand that fact this is your place!!! If you are tired of seeing driving schools that ask students to put 5 star reviews in order to get a better grade, this is your place!!!! In other words, if you want to funnel $450 for the sake of simply getting your license without learning or caring at all THIS IS YOUR PLACE. I highly recommend if you want to learn, go somewhere else.

My experience at a Driving School of Baton Rouge was great. They were very flexible on my schedule and it was a quick process. My driving instructor Debra was very helpful and calm throughout the whole course. I highly recommend her and this school.

I was a student at A Driving Academy and I had a great experience. The class was amazing.I passed the written and driving with flying colors. My driving instructor Ms.Debra was amazing!! She was very calm and a great teacher. Was very patient. She made driving easy and fun to learn.

Mr.Cliff taught me some things about driving but I suppose to get my driving license I passed and everything next day someone hit me I was in a coma for a few years I hope Mr.Cliff still work there I need to retake my test and driving again do you still open due to covid-19? So I can retake the test again?

This is an excellent driving school. I want to thank Mr. Cliff for teaching me how to drive. Mr. Cliff has lots of experience and knowledge. He taught me a lot in the 8 hours that I drove. I highly recommend Mr. Cliff and A Driving School. Thank you very much.

Went to learn how to drive before I attended college. I did learn common things but I knew something was off when the men there kept bribing the students for good reviews for a FREE FAKE ROLEX WATCH. Afterwards, I never learned out to park and that lead to some insecure driving and getting into a minor fender bender. Honestly, poor communication and Not professional at all.

Lack of communication, small talking, very snarky and just downright rude. the owner has a problem with believing that he is the one that is always right when sometimes he is down right wrong. very insulting and rude if people believe that he did something wrong he pins it towards other people. the class consists of a few minutes of lecture, 3 hours of a lunch break, videos to show that can be found easily on youtube, and can easily find something better. $450 to have someone with the organization skills of put it on the desk and leave it on the desk and if I cant find it on my desk it is the fault of someone else.

I called to inquire about the services this driving school offered and the person who answered the phone was extremely rude and very disconcerting about acquiring a new client. I dont believe in giving my business or patronizing companies with lack of excellent customer service skills, and very low level professionalism. Needless to say my child wont be attending this school or me recommended it anyone.

My experience was absolutely fantastic! Mr. Gary (the class instructor) made the entire experience very interactive and more enjoyable. They provide well timed breaks to keep the focus of the students. My driving instructor, Ms. Debra, was very patient and was able to help explain even the small details flawlessly. Throughout the entire process, I felt confident and knowledgeable regarding driving.

The school was good, I got what I came for which was my license. It could have been more fun, could have been more technology. We watched videoes that looked like it was from 2005.

Mr. Brian was my driving instructor. He is really good if you have absolutely no road skills.He is very flexible with timings. He made all the sessions interactive. I would definitely recommend this school

They are very understanding and you don’t have to pay on the first day but you will have to pay before you drive... and Debra is a really great teacher YOU WILL LEARN ALOT!!!!!! I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

I learned more in a road skills test with Tiger Driving than 20 hours of their learning program and 8 hour behind the wheel.

This place was the easiest and smoothest driving school. Everyone was professional and knew what they were doing. They prepared me for the written test and the road skills test was relaxed and comforting. My instructor, Brian, was extremely knowledgeable and alert. He made sure I was calm and the atmosphere in the car was relaxed with no pressure. We had great conversations and it was a fun time honestly. I have contacted several owners of driving schools before I start learning, and Stan was the best owner, who responded very quickly to my inquiry. Gary was my 1st instructor and his lectures were very informative. Gary knows a lot of stories that we do wrong while driving and they were helpful to pass my written exam with 97%. Brian was my driving instructor and he was excellent and super efficient. I was so comfortable with Brian and I honestly felt like my father was teaching me driving. I got 95% for my road skill test and completed the entire course last week. I am an international student and a PhD candidate at LSU and I highly recommend “A Driving School of Baton Rouge” for all the international students as well as domestic students. Its a good school that not only teaches the basics of driving, but also additional information. The teacher tell us about past personal experiences that encourage us to make good decisions. They provide many rewards to encourage is to learn. The driving school also gives the option to pay at the end incase one decides not to continue driving school. All in all, great driving school.

I really enjoyed this class. When walking in, I was nervous, not knowing almost anyone. There were a lot of students and I just didn’t know what to expect. The first day, the owner, Stan, made me feel comfortable by breaking down everything - the course, our class instructor, Gary, and how prepared we will be.The class itself was very entertaining. Mr. Gary goes very in depth and really cares about the students. He’s serious while being very funny. I really appreciate the effort he puts forth to allow us to learn better.I have no complaints for this place and would recommend it to anyone.

Very organized and easy to schedule class and driving and the lowest price

I did a lot of research and asked a lot of people about the driving schools in Baton Rouge. Almost everything I heard from parents was negative about other driving schools except for this one. They were so right. My son actually enjoyed drivers ed and is now constantly correcting my driving habits (which is a good refresher).The teachers are very hands-on and make the class interesting to keep the kids attention. The driving instructors were extremely friendly, responsible, safe, and very accommodating. It actually costs less than every other driving school in Baton Rouge! Dont look any further. You wont be disappointed!

I went to this driving school almost a year ago after being ripped off by Smart Start. First of all my driver instructor, Gary, was amazing. He was very funny and made me feel very comfortable behind the wheel.However, I was told one price over the phone and had to pay almost another $300. They also misplaced my money but everything worked out in the end. I was able to get my license less than a week later.

Learning made easy!Update: didn’t get my license for a long time after taking the course but they were all still very helpful with getting the process restarted for me! I got immediate help. 10/10 recommend.

The teachers are nice, chill environment and I learned a lot. Its the same book though so if you are eligible for the 14 hour course do not do the 35 hour course. It will not help you to do anything more than the 14 hour course bc its the same material.

A driving school of Baton Rouge is the best in Louisiana!! I highly recommend it. Instructors are very informative and friendly. They have the lowest price and easiest to deal with. Scheduling class and drive times was easy .

I did my research before I went to this school and I feel so lucky for having made the decision. They are extremely helpful, considerate and will wrap up all the driving requirements within a week if needed, unlike any other school in BR!! And you pay at the end which is great! As for the driving class itself, Brian is an amazing instructor. Hes probably the best in the business and itd be hard to find anyone better than him. Even though the school is a bit far for most people, I would recommend making the effort to go here. You can wrap things up in 3 days if you want. I finished everything in 4 days within the same week.

The staff are all knowledgable and are easy to get in contact with if you have any questions or concerns. Lessons are thorough and are sure to get you through both the written and road skills tests. Schedule your hours with Mr. Brian if you can. Knows pretty much everything about cars. Hell tell you when youre doing something wrong but hes only doing it so you dont end up making bad habits. Hes also easy to talk to and makes sure you know everything you need to and then some. Highly recommended!

I took a driving course in another city, but decided to take a one hour course in BR once I relocated. The instructor here is very informative, straightforward and considerate. He taught me everything I should have learned in my eight hour driving class, in one hour and gave helpful memorable explanations along the way. Hes been doing this for a while and you can tell he really enjoys it, thats the makings of the best teacher. If you want to learn how to drive and actually understand the road as you go along, this is your driving school. Highly recommended.

Very amazing timing. 4 days for 7 hours only $450. The teacher is very laid back but does his job. break every hour to two hours 🙌🏼

The instructors were very nice and patient. They were very helpful in scheduling classes according to my convenience, especially since it was during the holidays. Also, the service was awesome. The paper work for registration and license application were hassle free.

They made learning driving rules really easy and fun. They also have a short waiting time to get with a driver and you dont have to pay out front. So thats cool.

Honestly, this school is just amazing: the cold classroom really stimulates ones awareness, the informational videos really warned me of the dangers of jumping in front of trains, my instructor not only taught the material quite well but he also gave stories that truly caused me to think about life. I would never choose a different school, A Driving School of Baton Rouge is the way to go fo sure.

Having moved here from another country, I naturally had to obtain a drivers license. My experience with this driving school was great -- starting with the quick scheduling and classes to the very helpful driving lessons. The instructors explain well and make sure you feel safe driving which was very important to me. I would definitely recommend this school!
