This is truly a phenomenal school. The transformations and growth that I have witnessed in other students (both youth and adult) never ceases to amaze me. The school is made up of very, very different kinds of people but there is an atmosphere of respect that pervades the school so that students feel connected and welcome. While students certainly can develop very, very strong martial arts skills, developing an ability to defend yourself is only a very minor aspect of what I like and respect about the school. Studying TTJ prepares students to be good human beings, good friends to others, to succeed in school and work, to give back to the community and to constantly strive to grow and improve.I really cant say enough good things about the school, but it is also hard to put into words. I would encourage anyone interested in learning martial arts to come and visit the school so you can see for yourself. Some students feel a little intimidated by visiting martial arts schools (maybe because everyone is kicking and punching things). I would say that if you are a person slightly intimidated by this, then you are a person who I especially hope will visit the school. The school is for people like you. I, and everyone else, will make a special effort to help you feel at home if you visit. If you a good human being who wants to learn this, it doesnt matter what challenges you have, you can do it.

This is an excellent school for any parent who wants their kid to learn how to defend themselves and maybe pick up some respect and confidence along the way. Master Johnson has the ability to overcome my daughters video game attention span in a way that boarders on mystical. Apart from the obvious benefit of the piece of mind knowing that your child can defend herself, we have seen a marked improvement in attitude and respect. If youve been looking around and keep finding Cobra Kai when what you really want is Mr. Miyagi, look no further. TTJ is the place for you.

This is a great school full of great, kind, respectful people most martial arts schools when you go into sometimes can be imitating mostly due to the teacher being hard cored about fighting in tournaments or its their kind of personality, you will not find that here in here you will find people who will help achieve things you didnt think you could achieve yourself. Most schools harp on you when you make a mistake in here when you make a mistake they tell you its ok try again its ok to make mistakes. In this school you can make a choice of what classes you wish to try whither its tien tae jistu martial arts where its a martial arts full of different disciplines not just one from different countries basically its like bruce lees jeet kune do, or if you are feeling like I am not sure about going to do martial arts just to get high in the belt rankings if thats not for you then they have self defense classes where they answer questions you might have of what happens if someone does this to me or what do I do if this guy gets the drop on me or anything this class will help you answer those questions and they can teach things that can help you if that situation happens, or if you want to do something relaxing they have a tai chi classes where they help you achieve great balance and relaxation, this school is great for family and friends you will learn a lot if you train here, this school will help you grow and improve and open your eyes to things you didnt think possible, in this school kids dont just learn on how to kick and punch they will also learn on how to be a good human being and help grow into a mature, disciplined, and respectful human being which will help them as they go on their journey toward adulthood.
