Now that I have attended a full three years at this school I feel as if I can provide an honest review. I will admit the school isnt that horrible as some may have been once, for there have been a recent change in principals. Although this has happened, it has not changed the ignorance that is the administration. A majority of the teachers that I have been given can be quite disrespectful at times. The school needs many renovations, and is literally falling apart at the seams. It is a common occurrence for the lunch ladies to not wear hair nets, at this school you will often be served uncooked/cold food. Not to mention, that for over a year the school has been without clean drinking water, for it has seen high amounts of led in it. I would say that I rarely feel safe in this school, but that is a personal preference. I wouldnt honestly recommend this school nor send my child to this school if I had one of my own. Not because they will not be successful, but because they deserve a healthier, safer, cleaner, and overall better environment.

The school itself is nice and most teachers and students are nice, but most of the downsides here are that the cool kids are not the best. And when I say not the best, I mean I am literally living in a generation of savages. Fortunately there are a lot of nice students here and they can be great buds! Homework can be a bit stressful, but as long as you pass its worth it.

Great school despite what some May say. lunch is not a strong suit for highland but teachers are great and want you to succeed

At first I thought that this school was cool but its really not.Like 75% tables at lunch are mostly sterotypes like the cool kids.most of the kids are mean.the counslers do nothing but make things worse for the school I think its really cool that they do supply drives and stuff like that.the bathrooms are another reason this school is not so good the bathrooms are really messy.Lunch is also a big problem the food is raw or cold.They also limit social time also teachers make such a big deal if some ones talking its like if you just did a crime.I think that kids should have more time to play outside and hang out with friends sure theres PE but its not the same because you can hang out with anyone you like.Most of the teachers are really nice epesially mr.doyale shout to all the teachers that are really kind that is why I really like this school

The school is nice a lot of nice personnel however comma when it comes to certain classes such as IEP they lag tremendously and doing what they should be doing. Always a struggle getting things done right with them

Some students are really bad, but for the most part, the school is great. A lot of the teachers here are awesome and I dont understand why people would dislike this school.

It was a great school.I actually went there from 2013 to 2016.I liked the teachers,but yikes,were the tests kind of tricky.

I really hate this school. Food is disgusting, God only knows what those deleivery trucks bring us but holy horsewater is it simply awful. the bathrooms are pretty gross, too. I once walked in on someone taking a dump in one of the urinals. And then wash there hands in it. Sorry buddy, Those cakes in there dont actually taste like cakes. Overall, needs improvement.

2 Stars because the students are jerks, teachers are incompetent, bathrooms are disgusting, and the counselors are useless. I went there for 6 - 8 grade, and I had a horrible time there.
