When I called Body and Brain Beaverton, I was completely new to town. I had no idea what I was signing up for. Even though I have practiced yoga on-and-off for the past 15 years, this sounded like something completely different. Master Kazzeri immediately responded to my call and was so present with me, it’s as if she knew more about what I was looking for than I did myself. Body and Brain Yoga truly guides each of its community members through an integrative approach on how to heal your own body. This is unlike any other yoga and healing work I have ever done. I cannot recommend Body and Brain yoga enough, this place will transform your world and bring you closer to what your version of balance looks like. This is the kind of yoga and healing which is meant for everyone!

I found this place after trying an aura reading they were giving at a fair. My first class was unlike any yoga class I had tried before. The Korean yoga style they teach goes much deeper than just stretching and breathing, they also teach how to feel / experience energy through your own senses (something I thought was woo woo until I felt it myself). I never realized how deeply east asian countries have studied and understood the body until I tried class here, its like having a textbook to health & happiness that resides in my own body.The classes are great, but getting to learn the principles of how the mind & body work are why I stayed. Im big on asking why/how things work all the time and this place exceeded my expectations. If you want more than just stretching I highly recommend Body & Brain.

I have been coming to Body & Brain Yoga for 10 months and feel that I know my body better than ever before. The stretching and strengthening at Body & Brain Yoga have made me stronger and more flexible without even being aware that it was occurring.As part of growing myself, I took the Finding True Self workshop 3 months ago. It was both enlightening and transformative. I feel that the workshop has aided me on the path for really knowing myself and what I truly want.

I have been coming to classes 3 days a week for 5 months. I initially came in for help with my sciatica. I’m feeling pain free nearly 90 % of the time now! The exercises are gentle, the breathing and meditation are a wonderful addition. For an added bonus, my blood pressure has normalized!!! I highly recommend Body & Brain Yoga.

I could not recommend this place highly enough. In my opinion Body & Brain yoga is the best thing you can do for your self.I feel amazing because of this practice. I am stronger, more flexible, and I have lost weight. I will say its not easy, but I will also say anyone can do it. You learn how to go deep inside your body and let go of all outside distractions. Achieving very deep relaxation and releasing all the stagnate energy and blockages you didnt even know existed in your body.You get to learn about, feel, and play with energy something many people never experience or even acknowledge its existence.You gain power in the core of your body developing more self confidence and the ability to push past your limit.For all these reasons Body & Brain Yoga has improved my life in a major way and continues to do so as I go deeper into my training and practice.I hope many more people in Oregon can experience Body & Brain and active their bodys natural healing abilities.Thank you. 😁

I have been practicing this yoga for seven years and it is now part of my daily life. It is a very unique and empowering set of tools, techniques and principles that are great life tools. The teachers are like family and will give you space to heal yourself, they will help you as you need and develop your (brain training) as far as you want to take it. I still feel I am learning and growing after seven years.I now teach many of the principles in my daily life and at work and have seen those I work with change their old habits and feel great again too. Try it out and you will make great friends for life too.

Wanted to start being healthier and get into good habits, so my significant other and I started going to the Beaverton Body and Brain Center. Started in March and fell in love with the positive energy and people! I was so stressed out and tired from work life but going to classes at the center has totally changed my attitude and energy level. I feel so much happier and healthier overall. So glad I decided to start living a healthier lifestyle !Update: I wanted to update this review since Ive been practicing and coming to the center for 2 years now! Over the last few years Ive had really great experiences, attending a lot of workshops, and connected with amazing people that want to grow and improve their life. Taking yoga and tai chi class has helped me to not only feel physically better but has helped me to get more clear on my life goals and where I want to be heading. My energy feels strong and brighter and Ive gained a much more positive perspective on life despite the challenges 2020 has brought!

Ive had a wonderful experience at body and brain in West Linn! From dancing and yoga exercises Ive learned to open up to my body in a more fun and light-hearted way. Im noticing myself laughing more in my daily life, feeling more relaxed in my body, and more open in my mind. I love the teachers and owner like family. I have been attending Body & Brain yoga classes and workshops for 1 year and 7mo.The changes that have happened in my life physically as well as mentally have been incredible. My body is better than it has ever been in my whole life and I am 63 years old.Mentally I have found clarity and calmness.It helps so much to be able to deal with lifesdaily bumps, family stress, work stress.I would highly recommend this to everyone no matter your age or Heath condition. Everyone here is very welcoming and encouraging; makes it easy to feel comfortable, do your best, and push pass what you thought your body was capable of. The exercises shown here feel simple to grasp and the explanations of them gives a good perspective of how our physical body/brain works. The moves seem simple, but after a whole class, youll get a real good workout.

I just completed the two-day Shim Sun Self Discovery Workshop at the Dahn Yoga Center in Beaverton. It was a powerful and intensive experience filled with reflection, meditation and exercise. The trainers were very helpful, talented, and kind. It hasn’t been 24-hours yet, but I already feel that what I experienced is a huge kick-start to expanding my spiritual and personal growth. I recommend Dahn Yoga and the Shim Sun Self Discovery Workshop to anyone wanting positive transformation in their life.

I have been practicing this type of yoga over 6 months and it has helped me with my physical body change.It has made my health condition healthier and it has improved the energy flow in my body. I used to have insomnia and could not get enough rest during the night. I used to wake up all tired already from bed. After attending few classes and doing my special homework assigned to me by my instructor, before bed, has improved my sleeping patterns.Now I wake up refreshed and full of energy. I cant describe how happy I am I found this practice which helped me physically and mentally.I would like to updated my review by generally saying I am off all my medication for my insomnia and anxiety. My body feels so good and full of healthy energy.I highly recommend this practice and give it a try. Try a class and the instructors are so helpful and friendly.Sarah

The programs offered are varied and insightful. Your body will love the training methods as they are unconventional, yet natural. The body and mind do not like to be bored and you can never quite know what to expect in their classes or workshops. The classes and instructors are great! I have been attending classes here for over a year and love the energy they give me. The classes challenge me and vary so Im never bored. The classes are in a group setting, but the care is very personalized. I have been with Danh Yoga for almost two years. I have had experienced many changes in my life since then. In the past it seemed to me we need to have some kind of super natural power, gifts, and talents to create things. The trainings helped me to see that we all have natural ability to heal ourselves, to create lives the way we want. Through this time I realized that we spend too much energy on unnecessary thoughts to a point were physical body becomes ill, and doesn’t want to move. I realized how important brain education is, because thought can both kill or heal. I have realized that the power to choose is ours. Knowing this, today I can take responsibility for my own thoughts, heal myself, and create things I want.Also, this training helped me to increase my focus power, expand my consciousness, and live meaningful life. My experience after doing Beaverton and Body Yoga, my body is relaxed now, were as my body was tensed all the time. Ive been attending the class for about 2 or 3 time whenever my schedule allows and just after a month Im feeling so much changes in my body already. My joints are much more limber and best part is I sleep so much better. Looking forward to experiencing more changes!

I always leave this center with a smile. Master Soul and Sandra have crafted an environment that empowers students to balance their body and brain, working hard but never over straining muscles. After two months of attending classes, my body and brain are connected and I experience fewer head ache hazy days. Ive been doing Body & Brain Yoga and Tai-Chi for more than 10 years and it has helped me so much to renew and refresh my overall health and wellbeing. I first started for anxiety and stress relief and I found there was so much more depth to this method and practice than what you see or feel on the surface. To make a long story short, I was able to dramatically improve my anxiety and go off medication through healing practices taught by Body & Brain. There is no other yoga studio in town like this one. The staff genuinely cares about each member. The technics they teach on connecting the brain and body have been far more effective in my injury recovery and weight loss then any other form I have tried in the past. This place is magic!

I have been a member for a number of years and have benefited greatly from Dahns techniques.Its a very practical type of movement and I can practice it anywhere. From stretching, creative movements, and tapping, my body feels at its best. When I do have pain or stiffness I now know how to make myself feel better from what Ive learned here. The staff of this location are very friendly, kind and caring. I was not familiar with Dahn Yoga but now after almost twenty sessions I really like and enjoy the breathing technics, deep stretching and meditation we do. Practicing this Yoga has taught me how to control my stress and anxiety and most importantly to connect wth my heart and soul and care for myself. The wonderful and peaceful atmosphere are what I really needed to forget the busy everyday life for a while and get positive energy! I definitely recommend to try this and see the results..😊

I was depressed for long time and had back pain. After I started my depression went away and found hope with my life. I didnt realize that I was holding so much stress in my body. My body felt so heavy and tight as I started but with private session and group session, I recovered my health back. I am a new person compare to where I was.
