We love this preschool, all three of our kids have had a wonderful experience here. My oldest son went here in 2012 when it was at a different location and Caroline was his teacher, when my second was ready for school in 2015, I put him in this bilingual preschool as well. Now my youngest daughter is attending this preschool, she is enrolled in the Chinese and English and her Chinese has significantly improved. We dont speak Chinese at home and because the school has sparked a curiosity in her, she requests Chinese words throughout the day and asks, how do you say this in Chinese?We were at a preschool before whose values did not align with our early learning philosophy. That school had wanted to teach every child exactly the same and ignore the needs of the childs developmental stage. We wanted a preschool that deepened our childs love for learning while treating them each as individuals and Language Garden does both. We feel so blessed to have found them. Its been over a year for my daughter and the teachers in both Chinese and English classrooms have been the same which helps build that stability a child needs to thrive. I highly recommend them!

There has been a lot of gossip and backstabbing from two families who seem to be associated with a competing school. These families have been creating accounts and posting fake reviews of the school. Our experience has been wonderful! Our daughter is excited to go to school every day, and sometimes doesn’t want to come home after school. A loving staff who understands children is one of the many wonderful things about Language Garden.

My son start attending Language Garden in March and within months his mandarin improve tremendously. He was very reluctant to learn the language when I introduce mandarin to him. The nurturing and encouraging environment at Language Garden helps him to grow and learn so much the past few months. His writing skills improved and is capable of communicating with me in Mandarin. Ms Caroline not only teach but care for the well being of my child. I am so glad to find a school where he enjoys and look forward to go to everyday.

Caring staff, few classrooms to Foster a familiar environment, very flexible with their children and parents. On top of that they are very accommodating to kids with allergies. What is often lip-service for other institutions is being lived here every day. Last but not least, come by and experience the kids and their well-behaved attitude and you know they are in good hands here.

Simply the best bilingual Chinese/Mandarin Montessori in the area. The staff are amazing with the children and, unlike programs of 1-2 hours of language per week, the children actually learn to communicate in Mandarin and English. If there isnt a long wait, consider yourself very fortunate.

I don’t know where the negative reviews are coming from, but I don’t think the people posting the reviews have ever had a child in this school. The staff is caring, the management is excellent. Our children love the school.

LG is one of the best Mandarin Bilingual preschools on the east side, they just moved to a brand new classroom facility, large bright windows that allows plenty of light into the rooms. The new child sized toilets and low sinks are perfect for preschoolers to reach on their own and feel like they can do personal hygiene like mommy and daddy. =) love the facility there, the only less than ideal is the slightly limited outdoor yard size due to space constraint, but its filled with a very thick layer of mulch so kids wont get hurt. They do everything by the book and this is where I like this place.

Very kind and compassionate staff. Excellent Montessori education. Our children both went to Language Garden and loved it and their teachers.

My son attended Language Garden for two years. In that two years, he received nothing but the finest care and instruction. He entered speaking no Chinese, but graduated speaking Chinese with his classmates. Miss Caroline is one of the kindest, most compassionate teachers we’ve known.

Our children loved the school and teachers. Because of Caroline and her great teaching and support staff, our children developed strong academic and social skills. Their Chinese language is so good (reading and writing during kindergarten, for example) that they are able to start school in Taiwan no problem (even a grade level ahead).The staff is so kind and caring - always taking time to listen to a story or calm frayed nerves, and leading the children in creative play and learning activities.We would wholeheartedly recommend this school and staff to any family looking for a great Montessori experience and bilingual education.

I have known Caroline and Chris for many years and have watched them as they worked to build Language Garden from a small early childhood language tutorial center into a small Montessori School. Many people have asked them to expand, but they want the school to stay small. Money isn’t their motivator, caring for children is.

My daughter loves Miss Caroline and loves going to school. She also loved Miss Garima before she left, but is very happy that Miss Joy became certified and is now her English teacher.

My older son graduated from Language garden and had the same teacher, Teacher Caroline since he was 2 1/2. When we first decided on a preschool, we did a lot of research, preschool tours, talked to many parents and observe the classrooms and teachers. When I sat in and observed Teacher Carolines class years ago, I liked her right away and so did my son, she made learning fun for the kids and within the first few weeks my sons Chinese had increased. Along the way she would give us tips to help encourage his language development and fine motor skills at home. When Teacher Caroline left the previous school she was teaching at, we followed her because we trust her. People are encourage to choose the school but not the teacher but the reality is, the teacher is the MOST IMPORTANT part of your childs education, if the classroom is filled with warmth and creativity, that is when learning happens. Since we trust her guidance with our son, we trust the staff she has hired to grow the school and I have had no problem. I would recommend touring the school to see if its a good fit for you, you wont regret it!

We are looking for a children care center for my son,LG is clean in general.Comparing to other Montessori school, the facility and curriculum of LG is not comprehensive as others, tuition fee is higher than others, teachers have been replaced quite often. They just replaced another English teacher. School also required parents to sign off some privacy addendum to keep negative feedback to themselves,not disclosing to public. Parents lost confidence to send their children to this school within their comfortable zone due to the limited protection to kids, we lost the right to disclose what we want to say and where we need help from if Our rights have been violated or The child received any damage , so we choosed an other school instead .

Truly an amazing school! Incredible commitment to children and education.

My son just left the school. Two months ago, there was a child abuse happened in this school. The victim was a two and half years girl.The little girl suffered great harm both psychologically and physically. During psychotherapy, the psychiatrist has guided the child to restore what happened at the school. The situation is exactly the opposite of what the parents usually see in the school and the online photos the school posted. After this abuse happened, several parents in the school had written praise, and did not see any parents wrote praise before! I am very disgusted with this hypocritical thing.

This school can’t keep good teachers longer due to the poor management, they changed the English teacher last August and now the English teacher is going to leave again! they keep increasing the tuition fee but the quality of teaching remains same !

From my personal opinion, Language Garden LLC increases tuition which break our one year contract after I paid the whole year tuition for kid. And I and my attorney sent multiple emails to Carolines attorney and Caroline, never give my kids tuition back. Language Garden LLC took my kid benefits and holds kids tuition and tried to enforce me to sign illegal and unfair agreement. How could you do that as a daycare/preschool school ?The schools management is terrible. The director, Caroline, offered me to pay whole year tuition to get 10% discount when I was paying the monthly tuition. Then I selected this option and paid whole year tuition until next year Jan 31, 2019. It is large amount, not small amount for a family. She raised the tuition on the half way and asked me to pay additional increase part on August 2018! What ?!!! Supper surprised. I already paid whole years tuition!!! What are you talking about ?If I dont pay the increase part, my kid cannot stay there anymore. I never ever saw anyone run business like that, especially who is a teacher. I cannot agree with her for the tuition increase and asked her to pay my remaining 5 months tuition back, she said will pay my remaining 5 months tuition back. On the last school day of August 2018, she tried to enforce me to sign the illegal non-disclosure agreement. Otherwise, I cannot get my money back. I declined to sign the illegal and unfair agreement and asked her to give my money back without signing the illegal agreement . She said NO! and also said If you dont sign this agreement, I will not give your money back!!! What !!! You increased the tuition by yourself, why I must accept it ?!Then, I picked my kid stuff from the school and consulted my attorney and looked for the help. My attorney notified language garden to give my money back before September 24th 2018 without signing any illegal agreement. Now its over 1 month. She/Language Garden LLC still holds my money and so disappointed at Language Garden LLC. How terrible is it! In the meanwhile, I found more good reviews started from August 2018. Its supper irony.I gave her time to give my kids money back. But she still holds kids money.NEVER EVER experience a daycare/preschool like Language Garden LLC. I was thinking she was my kids teacher and its not big deal. She just gave my kids money back, then we move on, let it over.However, she still holds kids money which almost took five months to save those money for kids. It also wastes my time to deal with such terrible, disgusting, ugly things.Will proceed lawsuit Language garden LLC to look for legal assistance. If time could go back, I will Never ever send kids to this school!!!
