My 16 year old loves guitar but being self taught via YouTube needed help with music theory and technique. Tutors Ilya and Luke have truly opened up a whole new world with music theory and guitar techniques which my teen is so excited about, jamming live on stage is the next adventure. It is so good to have found a school which brings out joy and creativity. I am truly very grateful!

This was a game changing week of camp for my daughter. The staff at School of Rock Bellevue are such talented musicians and educators, but are also so caring toward their students. They made my daughter feel capable and valued, like she really matters. She experienced a tremendous amount of growth, both musically and emotionally, in just 5 days and very much feels like SOR is her new home. We look forward to Rock 101.

Learning how to sing in the lessons is great and then singing with a band is just amazing!!

Our 11-year old son is LOVING School of Rock! A little over a year ago we enrolled him in one of the summer camps where he got to play guitar and drums. He enjoyed the experience so much that he asked to be enrolled in lessons. After an introductory lesson on both guitar and drums, he decided to stick with drums. He has gone from Rock 101 to Performance and will be performing 5 songs in the Spring Season show in just a couple of days. It is truly amazing the progress he has made in such a short time. It has been fun to see his confidence and love for music grow. I believe lessons combined with performing in an actual band has been key to his success. The instructors and staff are great. They take feedback seriously and are very quick to remedy any issues. If your child has an interest in music, playing an instrument or singing then we highly recommend taking advantage of the unique programs the School of Rock offers.

Amazing experience. Our son loves all the musicians, learns a ton and is excited to participate. School of Rock gives confidence, makes it fun and enjoyable to learn a new instrument. We could not be happier

The additional band rehearsal each week really elevates learning and allows students to apply their developing skills. It’s also fun to jump right into playing with other musicians.

This place is an awesome place to learn about music and make great friendships. I come here weekly and it is so much fun to play music with these people! Recommended for any age really, its a great way to learn about yourself as a musician and performer.

This is an amazing place. Its a great place for you to not just play music and have fun while playing it but also to bond with some amazing people, I am glad that I found out about School of Rock in middle school. I became a much better musician and person, and now that I graduated I have to say it was one of my favorite places to go to in high school.

Daughter loves it!

Wonderful group of people who love music, teaching, performing, and most importantly kids. Try them out you wont regret it. Also the adult program is a lot of fun and you can start from square one.

We love School of Rock Bellevue. It makes our daughter so happy, and her musical skills have gotten so much better. Plus she has met tons of friends. It really has changed her life for the better.

I love that the programs are performance based, but require a separate lesson on the students instrument of choice so that our kids are learning how to play AND how to perform. My son is learning so much more when he works with others and takes his craft to the stage. I am particularly impressed with the education and skill level of the instructors at SOR Bellevue!!!

Mix of ages and experiences in performance groups is great for developing players. Great music. Enthusiastic teachers.
