When my son got into Bellevue Discovery, we were told by many alumni families that it is a gem of a school, a treasure. I now understand what they were referring to and I am forever grateful for the recommendation. If youre looking for a nurturing environment that fosters curiosity, creativity and a love of learning, look no further. The curriculum here is very carefully designed, and the teachers are very talented. Its an environment where each child is given the opportunity to thrive. While they feel like they are having fun and exploring, the carefully crafted scaffolding (science lab, drama, math games, school readiness skills, outdoor time, and story time) around a specific topic, ensures that the kids are able to experience in depth learning at its best. The teachers have meaningful conversations with the students, listen to them attentively and are thoughtful in their responses. It is clear that they are very passionate both about teaching and about children. I would highly recommend Bellevue Discovery.

Our daughter was not a typical Bellevue Discovery preschooler since her introversion was multiplied by the ground zero English level. In addition, she decided not to speak until she can do it on a high level. Thus, it was really challenging for everyone to wait and give her time, but the teachers were extremely supportive and encouraging! It is hard to believe now, but our daughter is absolutely ready to move on to the Evergreen School. Thanks to the teachers who obviously love both teaching and children! It was wonderful 2 years of amazing childhood for our lovely daughter at Bellevue Discovery! She truly enjoyed every preschool day and was terribly upset each time she had to stay at home. We wish we could stay at Bellevue Discovery forever!
