Mary taught all five of our kids how to swim. We started lessons with Mary when each of them was an infant because we think being able to swim and be comfortable and confident in the water is an important life skill. Mary has given my kids the knowledge and skills to swim very well. She has given them a love of the water and swimming. They all now love to compete as a part of the local swim club. Mary is an important part of our community and has made a positive impact on the community. Thank you Mary!

Mary has taught my husband and every one of his family members in central Oregon to swim as children. Now my kids go to her. Their approach is incredible. They are firm, yet kind. Not only are my children gaining LIFE SAVING skills, but confidence and work ethic.

Mary and her staff are kind, firm, and focused with the kids. They have a clear system they adhere to, teaching safety always, followed by skills and technique. My child progressed more in 6 lessons at the McCool Pool than she had at the City pool in over fifty lessons. I paid more to have her in lessons with one other student at Mary McCool’s rather than the 5-6 kiddos she shared lessons with at City pool. The discipline and expectations were much higher at Mary’s as well as repetitive skills focused on. Their program has my daughter swimming safely and skillfully after this first summer of her age 5-6. She wants to continue indefinitely which is awesome.

Wow. Ms Mary for the win. I was worried my 3 year old would struggle with this...and he def cried at the beginning but Ms Mary embodies kind but firm which I think is key with skills like swimming.Word of warning, Google maps did not quite take me to the right place. And when I finally found the right driveway to the house, there were many no trespassing signs that made me doubt I was in the right area. Just leave a little early your first time and you should be be ok.Thank you Mary for such a great resource in our community.
