Would give 3.5 if I could but 4 is too much for the reasons explained below. This is an office space that has been converted to a child care center. The staff are great they seem happy at their job the place itself looks really clean and well taken care of. They let you download an app that tracks every single thing your child is doing. The cons here are that the playground is barely being used as well as outside / outdoor time isnt given much.Another big issue that I had for my five year old was nap time where he said they didnt let him move off of the mat for 2 hours. My kid doesnt take nap times and he shouldnt suffer from that even if the county says its the law it is still the teachers job to know how to bend the rules to his favor.I must note that this is provided by my company as backup care and my kids came home happy everyday.

My son goes to Childtime, and it has been a few months, I have to say I was very nervous reading all of the mixed reviews but after visiting a couple of reputable ones in the neighborhood I can assure you this is the cleanest of them! I could not have made a better decision. The facility is extremely clean and well maintained. The staff is responsible, personable and friendly. And as someone else above stated, the director is very nice and always available to answer questions! Its a great place, with an excellent curriculum and a clean, safe environment for kids.

Our son has been at Childtime Bethesda for over a year now and we could not be happier with the decision. The facility is clean, safe and secure and the staff are wonderful and caring. Im amazed every time we walk in there because it seems like everybody that works there knows my sons name...not just his primary caretakers. The Director, Suneeta, runs a very organized operation and has always been very patient and understanding with us whenever we have questions or requests.

This is a solid daycare option. We have had two children through this center. Pros are the teachers and the benefits of corporate ownership. The teachers have been great - of the 30-35 staff I have gotten to know here, there was really only one I didnt care for and even she was fine. The corporate ownership ensures rigor around the safety codes and training, so you know they are compliant. Also, schedule - they dont close for anything - only the most severe weather.Cons are the price and the food - at one point we were paying about $45k/year for an infant and a Pre-K child to be there, but this may be the going rate. The food is a cafeteria caricature - have seen fruit for breakfast maybe 4 times in 5 years. Grey meat products, pears in sugary syrup, canned peas, etc.Last point to mention is the Center Director. She is fair, eventually, and I believe she cares for the childrens safety, but I think there are some cultural barriers, particularly on ideas about customer service that make dealing with her challenging sometimes. Other parents I have spoken with feel similarly. Also, there often is not great communication around when children will be moving from one class to the next both to the parents and between the Director and the teachers. In one case, the school failed to tell us that we needed to give permission to start providing center food when our child moved from the infant room to the next class. After a few days we saw one of our childs main care givers (not usually there at pick-up or drop off) who was begging us to give permission because our child didnt have enough to eat at school. That was a low point across 5 pretty good years, but is an example of what seems to be a pain point for them

My daughter has been at Childtime, Bethesda since she was an infant. Shes now a toddler in one of the toddler rooms. I cant say enough wonderful things about this daycare and what it has meant for our family to have her somewhere we love with people we trust. When she started at the center we lived in Bethesda, and even kept her there after moving to Silver Spring. The extra-long drive is worth it to us. The women who have taken care of her in both the infant and toddler rooms genuinely care about her in a way that exceeds what they would need to to just take could care of her. They communicate with us all day about what shes up to, and even send us pictures of her activities. We love them and cant imagine her being anywhere else.

All three of my children have spent time in the care of the wonderful and loving Childtime Learning Center - Bethesda staff members. All too often working parents find themselves compromising on aspects of their child’s because a program that excels in providing educational programming, a high level of care, structure and consistent staffing model is hard to come by. Well look no further – Childtime Learning Center’s Program Director and her team hit it out of the park on all capabilities. Staff turnover is extremely low and the team is highly qualified. You can tell from day one that the learning center is a large family that genuinely loves and cares for your child and your family as a whole. At the same time, Suneeta – Program Director, runs a tight ship and does not compromise on the highest of standards. The classrooms follow a curriculum beginning at infancy through Pre-K – from which most children enter Kindergarten reading. There are so many wonderful things about this center – they almost NEVER close, every staff member knows your child and family, the place is spotless, family/school wide events and celebrations designed to bring the community together, structure, education and FUN!!! Take a tour and check the program out – you will not be sorry!

Childtime Bethesda has been a very satisfying experience for me and my two children who have been enrolled there for 4 years. The place is very clean, teachers are quite committed, cirricula has beeen enriching and overall atmosphere has been loving and safe.I also like the location which makes it easy for kids to take field trips to the near by library, Barnes and Noble, farmers market, Playseum and movie theater. The children go to a nearby park via connections internally in the building without crossing any street. The indoor connections to different shops provides a good avenue for Halloween trick or treating and other parades even when the weather is not conducive. The wrap around balcony/open space around the classes provides children a space to ride bikes and do some additional activities on good weather days whenever they can step outside.Another enormous advantage is that the Center has very limited days where it is closed (even on many federal holidays and snow days).

I called to get pricing information and was told I had to make and appointment for a tour. When I drove up to the building it was on an extremely busy intersection. The parking is 4 dollars just to get in but you can get the fee waived for 30 mintues (the tour lasts an hour) if you bring your ticket inside (which no one told me about). Not the type of experience I want to have to go through every time I drop my baby off to daycare.
