I LOVE this school.To say it has exceeded every expectation I had would be an understatement. What makes St. John so special are the teachers and staff, it is literally one big family. Knowing that I can send my kiddo to a place that he is looked after and cared for well, is worth everything to me. Everyone looks out for one another. And if there’s ever an issue it is handled from a perspective of love and respect for the best outcome. I am grateful we found such a place.As a mom, you want the best for your children... and we are so fortunate that he gets to have a such a great academic and social place to foster life giving virtues and that they are put in to practice.

Exceptional education, values, and morals with phenomenal teachers and staff! @SJL we feel like family. We enjoy the laid-back environment expressed towards families, whether your Catholic or not. Most classes have students who practice both. We have seen tremendous growth in our children and wouldn’t want it any other way! We love being apart of SJL, along with growing in faith and our children getting the very best education!

We moved from another state to Blue Springs and found nothing but welcoming people at St. John LaLande. Our sons are so happy attending here. The class sizes are small and the teaching staff truly cares about the students.

The teachers and staff are wonderful people. I could not ask for better teachers that have cared about my son as much as I do. My son has extreme anxiety and they have helped him work through a lot of his fears. They have helped him come out of his shell so much. The class sizes are smaller which gives the kids more one on one with the teacher. I would recommend the school again and again.

You get what you pay for here. My child was treated terribly and the director, Molly, seriously lacks communication skills. The lead 2 year old classroom teacher was down right nasty to my child and our family. We are now at a school that treats us and our son with respect, has open and honest communication with us, and and we have since seen major positive behavior changes in our youngest since leaving. LOOK ELSEWHERE.. Preferably a licensed daycare with state regulations it must follow that hires child-education trained staff.Edit: Since we have left we have heard from 3 families and were told that they too are leaving this daycare. There are some pretty sad thing happening here.This place needs an investigation done.

This is an absolutely wonderful school. The community is amazing. Teachers are completely committed to the students and their education.

This school is an extension of family. Small class sizes ensure your student is known and cared for. Lessons are relavent and rigorous and set your students up for success in a 21st cent. competive world (even high schools have grown competive as students vie for scholarships). These two things together, set high standards and goals for the students AND foster an environment in which students CAN be successful. Instilling strong self-efficacy is just as important as academics and character in your students development and St. Johns does all three!

We highly recommend St. John La Lande K-8 school as well as St. John La Lande ECLA. Our four children have all attended St. John La Lande ECLA since they were born, and our oldest three are now in the grade school. With high-quality care and education for children from birth through 8th grade at one location and caring, compassionate teachers, staff, and administrators, what more could you ask for? Whether its problem solving for the challenges a student is encountering or individualized instruction for students who are ahead or behind academically, the teachers at SJL truly care about each student and his or her academic and social-emotional needs. If you are looking for an excellent childcare center, preschool, or K-8 school, dont hesitate to check out St. John La Lande.

St. Johns school has been great for our twins. Since starting in 2011, they have had a great experience with the small class sizes and the great teaching staff. We look forward to continuing their education through their 8th grade year and being prepared for high school. The school is open to family volunteers assisting where needed and participating in field trips. We really like that faith is a part of their daily routine!

St Johns provides an exceptional education for students from 6 weeks through 8th grade. Its a close knit community made up of amazing teachers and supportive parents. Students excel in an atmosphere of faith and care.
