I attended this school back in November. It was one of the best decisions I had ever made. The group of women that are there to help you are unbelievably supportive, patient, and overall just an amazing team to have at your back. I came looking for a new career path and not only did I get it but I also left with a family that wanted me to succeed in all my endeavors. I very much like that you leave with enough supplies to get you started on your new track. Overall it was worth everything to come to this school and if I had to do it all over again, I would only change how long it took me to make my decision.

I have been a qualified Micro-pigmentation practitioner in the UK for over 20 years, however upon coming to Florida I wanted to see updated techniques and to find out more about the local requirements for practicing here.The Academy was a well set up facility in a nice area of Boca.The recommended hotel (at a special ACAS rate) was excellent.Complimentary transportation was provided.All I can say is ladies/gents please do stick with ACAS Academy.Ms. Bodrato -the owner, is a professional, fair individual who is passionate about this facility and the success of her students.The current tutors on her staff are carefully vetted and excellent at their jobs.I recommend ACAS to anybody setting out on their Permanent make-up career and I am happy to endorse it.

2012 - I have to say that I do diligent research before making choices, especially about my future. ACAS Academy is the ONLY Micropigmentaion Fundamentals Course where you receive a DIPLOMA from the Board of Education. Once Katrina and I finally touched base, it was GO! from there!Katrina Bodrato is funny, engaging and a true business woman. She sets appointments for phone conferences, where shes fully engaged in me and my questions. She was never in a hurry and made sure that all of my questions were answered in full and that I was comfortable with the amount of information she was giving me.Her program offers more than any other fundamentals course and I left with all the tools, reference literature and equipmentto begin performing micropigmentation.I/we learned 5 micropigmentation techniques on live models, while learning/using multiple pieces of instruments and equipment. The instructor, Lauren Gibler Tattoos is a consummate professional and a MASTER at her craft. Her energy and personality made the grueling course fun and exciting. Even with the heavy wealth of information I received during the course, the 10 hour days seemed to breeze by. Shes truly a professional and kept me/us engaged in the coursework while giving one-on-one instruction, VALUABLE feedback and the tools to succeed.Lauren is seamless when it comes to preventing cross-contaminations and teaches asepsis at certified OSHA levels. She treats every micropigmentation/tattoo procedure; set-up, treatment and tear-down like its a surgical procedure. I was enrolled to begin classes in June and had a family emergency where I had to put it off until July. Everything happens for a reason . The permanent makeup program had 6 other students including myself we were all different. From the moment I walked in I felt part of a team . The positive energy and happiness felt was much needed. Our instructor was so passionate , she actually works with multiple clinics and surgeons. Being actually in the industry she taught us little things and tips I am so grateful for .I choose ACAS Academy for their solid accreditations , I did not expect all the extras . While I was in class three graduates showed up , they spent time helping us and shared with us tips as well about getting started. Its really nice to know that this academy has an open door .
