Came here for eyelash extension 2-day course. The teacher was nice and helpful, however the price I paid ($1,300) was ridiculously expensive for the amount of practice we had. I did not leave the course feeling confident in my skills and believe the school charges way too much for such a short course.

I’m a graduate from the skin/makeup program and I absolutely love Boca beauty I felt so loved and the instructors are awesome but my girl Ms.Aidin is the BEST PERIOD ‼️‼️‼️

Boca Beauty Academy is an excellent, top notch well run school! I had the pleasure of speaking with David Harper, Admissions Director, regarding a Barber Program for my son. His professionalism coupled by his knowledge and genuine support made him a pleasure to communicate with. Since then my son enrolled, home run, he couldnt be more enthusiastic. Mr. Will, the instructor, who is a Master Barber is stellar, very astute, exceptional teacher. Highly recommend the school, they have many programs to choose from.

I received a prompt response from the person running the BBA when I had a concern. She was very helpful, kind and understanding, and she resolved the issue immediately!

Ms.Danielle was the worst person to deal with. She had a problem for when I walked in the door. After I signed in, Took my temperature, And paid. I was then told that only one person they can see but they charge me for three. However she took three other people that came behind me that did not sign in or pay before me. The young lady at the front Desk was the only one that cared. She call the other school location to have them to see all three of us. I don’t like to throw Race cards But I will say Danielle treated us very different than the other clients that was not black.I don’t recommend a school location to no one especially a color.

Kim in admissions was the reason I chose Boca. She is awesome! And Mario in the Financial Aid department is so wonderful to work with. But Ms. Beth is the highlight of the school. Best instructor ever!

Ms.Beth’s class is the amazing! Being placed into it was the best thing that happened to me so far on my new career path. I am currently enrolled in the paramedical esthetician program. Ms.Beth is attentive, funny and very knowledgeable. The Boca campus is clean and beautiful. Most students and staff are friendly and the overall environment is pleasing and up-lifting. Mr.Robert, Mario and Ms.Chantelle have also been wonderful in assisting me.

The absolute best school to get your Nail Technician license especially if your teacher is Ms Annie!!!! She is phenomenal, caring, and the hardest working teacher there. She loves her students , loves her job, and loves what she does best! Nails! I love Ms Annie and she made this experience unforgettable and life changing. Go see her!

I loved my visit recently with BBA. I first walked in and was greeted by a lovely women named Ms. Rosey who is also the night class teacher and we had an amazing talk about goals and manifesting/desires she was awesome. I also had the pleasure of speaking with Admissions director Mr. Harper and he was extremely pleasant and it made my visit and tour worth while, I also met with Mr. Mario the financial aid director and he was just as amazing I loved his energy. I was so super impressed that it would be remiss of me if I did not take the time to comment on Boca Beauty Academy (on Glades road)! I went there with my friend who was absolutely thrilled with her hair and nails services. The service provided by the students and the management were outstanding. They were on the ball in all aspects - they adhered to the social distancing guidelines, masks etc. We felt completely safe and I felt the love! Sitting there, just observing - everyone left with a bounce in their step. I definitely recommend this place for any of your beauty needs!

My hat off to Beauty Academy and even their location, (right on Glades & the Turnpike) ! I went in for a haircut today and was completely impressed with everyone’s attention to details, incredible talent & professionalism. Must have a incredible management team and director. Even the high level of safety standards...mandatory masks, sanitation station, mandatory temperature checks, strict procedures and on and on ... I attended boca beauty academy for a master esthetician program. It honestly was my happy place. I loved my teacher Miss Maria, always willing to help whenever I needed but also felt like a mom whenever we needed it as well. I love the “drama free” She was always understanding and really pushed me to get better. I will really miss her a lot!I need to thank Mr Robert, the director for guiding me as well and always being understanding of my situation ( I am a mom of two). Always encouraging, never pushy.I have read the negative reviews regarding the hours and payments. Thankfully it has never happened to me. They actually helped me regarding my hours. I don’t think it is fair to expect them to hand us everything on a platter. I got my money worth and I am absolutely happy to have chosen boca beauty! Their teachers are amazing! Miss Ayden (the make up teacher) is a gem as well. Full of knowledge and very caring. She knows her stuff!So in conclusion, I would absolutely recommend boca beauty! I was at Boca Beauty Academy ,Boca Raton. Miss Annie was my instructor, wonderful teacher and very professional. She was every day teaching her class, Monday to Saturday, day and night, she teaching all her students so much at Nails Program, all that she knows, reviewing the book, conference and videos, during the time, where the Academy was closed, because the virus. She always was so much patient with students. More than teacher is is a friendly person and always given us as much as she knows on nails, am glad I have Miss Annie during the program, She never stopped sharing that she knows.Miss Annie has? wonderful personality that makes the student feel wonderful.!

I wanted to sign up for the esthetician course, before I ever filled out any documents or paperwork, David Harper took my $100 deposit. I had to follow up multiple times for the actual application.They quickly got me in touch with Mario so I could work out financing, again, before having ever filled out the application. 2 weeks or so before class starts I had to reach out to get financing in order as well as FILL OUT THE APPLICATION...There was a sudden death in the family that prevented me from attending, and notice was sent to DAVID HARPER, via email.. he sent his condolences which was the only professional part of my whole experience.Class was to begin in August 3rd.. on AUGUST 31st, my first payment was withdrawn from my account. I SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN CHARGED.. I withdrew and this charge is now 3 weeks after the first class began.I emailed right away to request the refund, after multiple (over 10) emails .. no one responds or reaches out to offer any explanation or help. I contacted the finance company to see if they can assist but unfortunately this lands on the school to notify them that I did not attend.I called multiple times, a few times DAVID HARPER hung up on me explaining he does not handle this.When I finally get transferred to Mario in finance, he gives a BS explanation that he does not handle the refunds and it is a process.I am sorry but it’s been almost a month since the initial charge, not including the 3 weeks prior that they had to cancel my payment ever even being taken.I have since sent multiple emails to Mario .. of which there has been no response.UNPROFESSIONAL & UNETHICAL.. they are thieves! Disgusted at the entire process and would NEVER RECOMMEND anyone even consider.I have found a better school, with a better price and amazing customer service.

I graduated from Boca Beauty about a year ago. i went to the parkland campus. literally the worst school ever:( i had 7 different teachers in a span of 10 months and my class literally went without a teacher for an entire month.. i didn’t learn anything at all i only learned from my old salon i worked at. they also tried to charge me a $2,000 fee after i paid the $15,000 and i got a lawyer and they dropped it..

I have been working at Boca Beauty Academy for almost a year and I love it! The instructors are all top in their fields and they work hard to ensure the success of their students! I would recommend Boca Beauty Academy to anyone interested in pursuing a career in beauty and wellness.

I signed up for their microblading class & left a $100 deposit. When it was time to take the class I had to reach out to them. The guy tells me they have to reschedule due to not enough students. Ok no biggie. It’s been over a year now with no communication. I recently called & left a message with the receptionist. The guy called me back & says the $100 application fee is non refundable, which I do understand, however, their commitment in providing students with information in regards to the class they signed up for is terrible.

If you want to save yourself a lot of grief, go to a community college, cheaper tuition and faster. most students end up despising their education here which is sad when seeing multiple collectives of students frustrated with their education. it is an investment into your life and career and should be taken seriously. unless youre made of money and okay with wasting lifes valuable time and have easily acquired capital, do not attend this school. it is the structure of the schools organization that lends to its poor education, not the teachers itself, because there are some great teachers here. strength comes from strong organization from top to bottom. i wont comment on staff because there is such high turnover with staff. lastly, the school itself isnt maintained well, which is ironic it being a beauty school, but i guess those dull gray walls do pair quite well with the dilapidated furniture and the rest of the interiors quasi-modern eroding aesthetic!

The staff here were always good to me, I learned a lot her, I studied Full Specialist. Ms Dana, Mario, David, the receptionist Z helped me out a lot and I am now a licensed professional thanks to my studying here. I would recommend this school to friends!

I’m giving it one star because, even thought I was lucky to have many many teachers and learn many techniques for the massage therapy program, there was no actual curriculum for the night class. My first week there and we didn’t even have a teacher.To this day I still haven’t been able to receive my certificate of completion due to the fact that I still owe the school money because I was behind on my testing, but it was because the teacher we had no idea of the curriculum. My class was very behind when it came to class work and testing. Most of us had only a few weeks to complete everything that you’re supposed to do in the whole semester.

A great Massage! I used to go to the Boca location to get a massage from the school and didnt know what to expect from the new campus. What a great experience! The students were just as friendly, I even recognized the teacher. Very relaxing atmosphere, the beds were very comfortable and the place was nice and clean. No background noises that interrupt the massage. Highly recommend. Excellent experience.

I had Ms. Beth as my skin care teacher and I just graduated. She is truly so knowledgeable and goes so into depth with every single detail about skin. You learn so much in this class with Ms. Beth as a teacher and makes you feel completely confident to go out in the real world and work !

MJ did an amazing job with the night class online during Covid19. We got through many chapters for theory that we didn’t get to do before. Her time and effort is greatly appreciated. Thank you MJ for your hard work and dedication.

I am currently a student at Boca Beauty Academy in their nail specialist program. I can’t say enough about how lucky I am to have Miss Andrea as my instructor. She is so knowledgeable about nails so I know I will leave with the skills necessary to be a successful nail technician. Miss Andrea is very patient and so skilled with all types of nail applications. I would recommend Boca Beauty Academy to anyone who would like to learn how to do nails from a very talented and dedicated instructor.

Terrible school to deal with all around. Thinking this was our school of choice for our daughter we called and made an appointment to tour the school, drove 3 hours to go to the front desk with no one knowing anything about an appointment, then to find out that David (the one to take her on the tour with the set appointment) had a family emergency and wasnt in that day. No one called us to cancel our appointment as we both had to take off work, got a hotel room(non refundable)had to look for an apartment for her to live, and here we stand asking if anyone else is available to help us. The Lady at the front said no Im sorry there is nothing I can offer you. As we were upset with what happened I googled the school to find another location close by, we drove there told them what happened, a nice staff member did take our daughters information, gave her information and sent us on our way with nothing more anyone can do. Waste of time we could of done online. After calling for several weeks back and forth still trying to sign her up, nothing. Finally after leaving nasty messages I got a call back from David he then sent me all the information online and financial aid info here we are getting closer. Finally we got her signed up, got her financial aid, she also received a scholarship through my work for $1500 that was cashed immediately from Boca Beauty. But it was too late leaving her with missing her spot for the apartment that someone took due not knowing if and when she was getting into the program. Apartments were very hard to come by in that location most with no move in availabilities or beyond expensive. She had to withdrawal from the school upsetting her immensely, to come back home to refigure out her career. We have been asking for the scholarship refund (as it should never been cashed since she never started school) since August 2019 we just now after several phone calls, even some nasty ones finally got the refund back to my work 2/20/2020! I do not recommend this school for the lack of everything!

I had a great experience with the entire staff, specially with July my admissions she helped went above and beyond, she answered all my questions, and made me feel at home. I recommend you their programs and a to ask for my admissions July “she is the best”

I started this school at a time when they were going through a lot employee wise. so at first i felt like i wasnt getting the education i was paying for, however they did manage to get a new instructor in the skin care program which is what i was in and the new instructor was amazing she was really educated and knew about anything and everything i asked about. she is an amazing teacher. unfortunately she wasnt hired until i was about to graduate. so i went to administration and explained that i felt it was unfair that i hadnt been able to really learn as much as possible from her. they were really understanding and let me continue to attend the school for free. so i stayed for a few more weeks and when i felt confident enough i left and started to work. after i quit my first job i came back to the school to get some help with job placement and again they were extremely helpful and they covered all the research for me. i basically came in and said this is what i want to do and they found all the possible opportunities that suited my needs. if youre unhappy about anything with the school, all you need to do is tell someone. no matter what they are always ready and willing to do whatever they can to improve the school. if you have an issue with something someone will always be there to solve the problem. everyone could leave this school happy, those who didnt probably never spoke up and said something.

I’ve heard a lot of bad things about this place. My sister attended this school and by the end of the program, they accused her of owing them $1500. They kept calling excessively, even calling me, to get the $1500 she supposedly owed. Once our father went into the administration office, they were like “whoops sorry! My b we have your money!” Super disorganized organization. Would recommend, as an outsider, to go somewhere else.

My experience at Boca Beauty Academy has been wonderful. My love for skin care and makeup has grown since attending my courses. My instructor Ms. Corinna was phenomenal, highly recommend her. Very sad to leave, definitely bitter sweet. James has been great at getting all my paperwork done. Overall very satisfied. :)

Boca Beauty Academy has exceeded my expectations as far as cosmetology schools go. I love going to school everyday & Ive learned so much since I started school In the beginning of August. My teacher Mrs. Regina Benjamin is the best, she is so great at customizing her teaching ways to each particular student and I love how caring sweet and kind to all of us students and makes learning fun but always holds us accountable for our actions and for what needs to be done on a daily basis at school. very professional indeed. Also the front desk worker is one of my favorite employees here, shes so sweet & friendly, i love seeing her every morning and she really does a great job at attending to customers and there specific needs, I think she is an excellent receptionist & I look forward to seeing her each day for the rest of my time here at Boca Beauty:)

I just graduated from Boca Beauty Academys Paramedical Esthetician program. I enjoyed my experience here. My classmates were great, my instructors were helpful, patient, and motivating. I enjoyed all of the extracurricular after school activities; I gained a lot of knowledge from those. My experience here made me feel prepared for a job in my chosen field. I feel confident in my abilities from the training I received.

I just recently graduated from Boca Beauty Academy Boca Raton as a licensed facial specialist, and i have to say it was an amazing experience. Everyone becomes a little family there. My instructor Ms. Beth was terrific! Very knowledgeable and great with demonstration. The entire staff at Boca Beauty Academy were very personable and helpful. I would recommend this school to anyone that wants to learn their trade and enjoy themselves while doing it!

I am extremely happy with my choice in attending this school. The teachers are amazing, fun & a wealth of information! First of all i have been to quite a few beauty schools and this is by far the worst school I’ve been to. They fired all the good teachers and left us with the worst teachers imaginable. Weeks of sitting in a class and not learning a single thing then they have the nerve to threaten the students to pay $10 a hour for every hour they miss and they went and clocked me out on days i was there to try to get me to pay more money to them cause thats all they care about. I really hope someone reads this and doesn’t come to this school. Boca beauty isn’t worthy of your money go to cortiva or Hollywood institute or and other beauty school besides this place.

I am in the skin care and make up program primarily just for make up. I didn’t think I would love the skin care part of the program as much as I do now that I just completed it. I owe it all to Miss Beth, our instructor. She is very passionate and knowledgeable. I feel extremely confident now as an esthetician, thanks to Miss Beth and Boca Beauty Academy.

If youre looking for a school to attend massage therapy, keep looking. Worst school experience of my life. They threw me in after only a week on clients, before telling me how I could potentially hurt them. They give you good talk about academics and learning but its bull. We were suppose to have an hour of academics and 3 clinical a night. Which they say when you arent massaging your being taught, which is a lie because its the same room and your not aloud to talk. Also, the lights are dimmed so you cant even read unless you go across to the library which only holds 4 people. The one hour academic was really only 30 minutes because you have to set up before the clients arrive. Everyone hated it in my class, we were treated like we already worked for a spa. Massaging several clients a night back to back.They often over booked us as well and the teacher would have to jump in and start massaging clients too.The office gave a good show like they cared when we all complained but nothing was done. In my time there I went through 5 or 6 teachers because they would quit or were fired if they complained with us.

I had a great student experience at Boca Beauty Academy in their Nail Technology Program. The application process was easy. admissions took no time at all, and my instructor was AMAZING! I would absolutely recommend this school to anyone interested in pursuing a career in the beauty industry.

I am currently enlisted in the skincare and makeup program at Boca Beauty Academy. I recently completed the skincare program with Ms. Beth. I want to praise my teacher, as she did a fantastic job and went above and beyond the curriculum. Ms. Beth’s knowledge with over 18 years of experience, truly exceeded my expectations within the program.

Sometimes you get a good outcome and sometimes you dont. If you get your hair cut, be careful. Same goes with highlighting. The instructors do not routinely inspect the work of the students unfortunately.

I just completed Electrolysis program in Boca Beauty Academy. Excellent course material as well as practice hours doing the hair removal with electrolysis. Teachers are very supportive and really do want all students to succeed in their studies and prepare you for state board exam. I am very satisfied with the program :) I will recommend to everyone to enroll in Boca Beauty Academy if you are looking for a career in beauty industry.

I had the privileged to work with this school on an eventful level and they were great to work with. I talked to Paula about having some students work my event in makeup and hair and she assured me that the students and staff where very professional. Comes the day of the event and they were on time, ready to work and already set up prior to the event event starting. The worked hard the whole day and my dancers and artists where completely satisfied with the out come. I recommend this school to anyone who wishes to learn Beauty and its not only having the talent to do Beauty but their teachings, discipline and skills to carry out your talent on a professional level, which this school definitely has to offer. I give them 5 stars in my book.

Very informative! The staff here is very accomodating to my needs and helped me with everything i needed, including finding a job! school is kept very clean and organized, everyone here is very nice and willing to help when needed. I been going for to Boca beauty for almost two months for Skin care and my teacher Mrs.Anisha is great she does a lot of hands on and will have you doing facials within the first week.

I feel very lucky to have had Ms. Anabel as my skin care instructor. She does magic with her hands!!!She flares in all that she does. I couldnt have asked for a better teacher. She knows her stuff and always has an answer to your question. Ms.Anabel motivates her students to believe in themselves.

Boca Beauty Academy is an amazing school! I recently graduated from the cosmetology program and it was a great experience. The Teachers and the staff are amazing. If you are looking for a Beauty school in Palm Beach County this is the best one!

First of all let me start by saying what a lovely place and wonderful staff members. I have just applied to this school and Lisa Marie was the one who helped me and I must thank her for all she has done for me. The school has helped me with the whole process from start to end answering any questions I had and responding all of my e-mails. This is by far the best experience I have ever had with a school and not to mention how organized and modern the school looks. I am proud to now officially be part of the Boca Beauty Academy Family :)!

Boca Beauty Academy donated their time and came out to our summer camp to do the hair and make-up for our female campers. They were very professional. Stayed much longer than the time they had committed to so they could finish up with all the girls. Everyone looked amazing and the stylists did an outstanding job! I would highly recommend them for any of your beauty needs.

I enjoyed my experience with Ms. Sandy in the Nail Program. She really knows her craft and is willing to help anyone who is serious to follow their dream in Nail Technology. I live over an hour away, but I was always excited to come to school to do what I love!

Boca Beauty Academy was a dream come thru for me, I walked in just to inquire some information, the staff helped turn my dream into reality. One year later I have graduated and I could have not been happier. The instructors there were amazing and Ms. Letty is out of this world. The staff is always very helpful and organized and helped me with all my issues. I love this school and I will forever be grateful. I definitely will recommend this school to anyone.

Boca Beauty has really great teachers and I learned a lot in 1200 hours. They do need to work on their administration. There is a lot of staff turn over which can be stressful, delay in ordering your materials, and issues with record keeping; otherwise I would recommend this school to others. My overall experience was good and I have created some really great relationships with the teachers and my peers.

Ive had a amazing experience at this school. If I could rate beyond 5 stars, I would. I wish I could stay forever but unfortunately I cant. Everyone is so nice and welcoming, thank you so much BBA!! ❤

Boca Beauty Academy is a wonderful school, the administration staff is wonderful and very helpful. The night time nail technology course was a very and helpful class. I learned so much and have full confidence in myself to pursue my nail technician career.

Ms. Lourdes taught me the Vidal techniqes. She was hard driven, informative and an excellent hands-on instructor. Ms. Maryjo, I will call her the general. Every morning, the drill was client-service. Learning to service 3 and 4 clients at a time was her way of getting the students ready for the real world. At first it was hard-sweat, but in the end I loved her for it. Ms. Katrina my first level instructor helped me with discipline in academics and the basics. Ms. Sandy, I will call her the law-maker, she taught me disciple in following procedure. Ms. Annabelle, my skin care teacher, from her I have gained a lot of technical knowledge in skincare, a lot of wisdom and a lot of love for the work. She is an excellent hands-on and practical instructor. I have also had the privilege of being taught my Ms. Helosia, she is excellent in both academic and hands-on work. I totally enjoined my time at Boca Beauty and would highly recommend this school to anyone wishing to enter into a successful carer.

If you are a veteran do not waste your benefit at this school. They only care about money and nothing about the student. My BAH was 2 months late due to the finance office refusing to do his job and disregarding me every time I went by the office. I am currently 2 months post graduating and they are still holding financial aid and loan money (that wasn’t required of me to take) until the va pays. By the way the process was delayed again because of the school and not the VA. They have received written and verbal confirmation that payment will be sent and still nothing. Ms. Beth WAS a great teacher but she no longer teaches at the school. The laser and Electrology program is a joke due to limited supplies. You practice laser one day! Overpriced! If you are looking for a good school try Empire Beauty.

I recently graduated and felt very pleased with everything boca beauty has to offer. I took the cosmetology program and also took additional seminars that really helped me get more involved in the beauty industry. The staff is very friendly, always willing to help and go the extra mile to satisfy ones needs. I highly recommend this school for anyone looking to pursue the beauty industry or anyone wanting to take extra certified courses.

This is the biggest Mickey mouse School in the world they taught me absolutely nothing we read a book for 3 days and then I was handed a tattoo machine in an old lady that was a model and told to put a tattoo on her face basically do her eyebrows with no teaching of measuring with no teaching of anything at all so this was five grand that Im being charged that Im not going to pay that Im going to have to get off my credit somehow I was told I could come back for a few days for free which would be fine if they were in my town county or my ZIP code but no there 5 hours away I had to pay for a hotel for 7 days and they taught me nothing I know nothing more now than when I went nothing at all the only differences is I got to practice on a couple of models but they didnt tell me how to measure how to do anything like when microblading they didnt show me how to measure to microblade they didnt show me nothing at all... the lady talked about her dogs how it was our dogs birthday and how she tried to rent her commercial apartment downstairs which was a veterinarians office out to every student that walked in the door this school teaches you nothing dont waste your money everyone there is unhappy about being there is unhappy about being charged for being there and wishes they would have never ever went !!!!!do not go to the school!!!!! Im telling you you will waste your time and money Im so disappointed as I could have paid 1500.00 for a2 day microblading course in my town and not spent an extra 1500.00 on hotel car and food....out of 50 hours that I was charged for we learned 0 minutes it was all stuff I already knew from the bloodborne pathogen.. Please dont waste your money all the students are stuck as they explained to me bc once you walk in the door they charge you 5 grand and teach you nothing at all theyre not ready to teach anything all the teachers walk around trying to fight students and it is a circus and water I thought oh BOCA MUST BE GREAT YEAH RIGHT LIKE I SAID EVERYTHING I KNOW I LEARNED FROM YOU TUBE THE NIGHT BEFORE I HAD TO DO A MICROBLADE AND WAS NEVER SHOWN HOW TO MEASURE OR ANYTHING ELSE MY TEACHER KEPT TAKING ABOUT ME AND WHEN ID SPEAK UP SHED SAY OH NOT ABOUT YOU AND LAUGH PLEASE GIVE ME A BREAK SORRIEST EXCUSE THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN IM CONTACTING #BBB I THINK EVERYONE WHO HAD STEPPED FOR INSIDE THEYRE DOOR HAS CALLED BBB TO COMPLAIN

Is the worst experience ever ,i love Mrs Tracy as a teacher,but the school screwed you financially, and you don’t have the material for practice, specially in electrology and laser...they should have a Dr at least 3 times a week in order the students can practice it it is very expensive school for nothing...i would not recommend at all..!!!!

I just recently graduated from Boca Beauty Academy and I overall had a really great experience. I was in the evening paramedical program which is skin care and electrology. All of my instructors were really knowledgeable and I feel really confident in my ability to work in my field now. Mrs. Tracy was my electrology teacher and she is honestly the best teacher Ive ever had, she answered all my questions and more! The admin are all super helpful and respond right away through email whenever I needed help.

I absolutely loved my skin care teacher Miss Beth. I learned so much and she helped me really understand skin health! Would love to have her as a teacher again

The place is what I expected to be. I was not left alone with the student, the teacher was there to make sure that Im getting the hair cut I asked for. Im definitely going back there next time I need a hair cut!

The nail program with Ms. Sandy was a positive and productive experience. Her background and experience has help build the confidence i need to start working in the field.

This school has some Of the best teachers, there is one teacher however that sticks out more than all the others. Linnaea the night time instructor is one of the most educated teachers on staff, on top of that she has the student best interest at heart. Always willing to help, she goes above and beyond any teacher at boca beauty academy. Thank you for my amazing education!

Boca Beauty Academy was a good learning experience but I had about 4 different teachers while I was attending. It just would had have been nicer if there was consistency.

I recently graduated from Electrolysis. My experience at Boca Beauty Academy was enjoyable. I learned a lot, the administrative staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this school to anyone interested in this profession.

I would like to share the disappointing, frustrating experience I recently had with the Boca Beauty Academy. I went there for their permanent makeup course and was to say the least disappointed and felt totally ripped off.I went in there after a bad experience with one course in permanent makeup under my belt and explained to the gentleman in charge of signing you up that I had no intention of getting involved unless they were on the up and up with me and everything promised on their end they would uphold to. After a great sales job and even bringing the teacher in the office to talk to me I was convinced that this was for real. Wrong!!!!!!! First of all, you are told this is a 50 hour course, it is right there in black and white on their promotional material as well as the contract, well all in all I got no more than 25 hours. The cost of the course was around 2800.00 by the way. The week of the scheduled course there was all sorts of problems. I was never told I had to take a blood pathogen course before hand and when I did bring that up the gentleman said “Oh, sorry I thought I told you about that.” I had to take 3 tests as the first two were the wrong ones as they never told me the right link to go to until the last test, 7 even then they weren’t sure. Anyways, I show up to the school on the scheduled morning of the course only to find out we needed a tattoo license before we started the course from the State. Since no one had this license the course was cancelled for that week and postponed until the next week. Did I mention I’m from another country and my trip was based around this time frame. Anyways, we get the license and show up for the course and spent in theory, one day learning about color and then the next day we get some people to work on with just a tiny bit of direction on how to actually do the tattooing with the machine. We practiced on oranges by the way the day before and then the next day we are working on humans. There was so little direction on technique, strokes etc. that if I didn’t have a little experience with the previous course as well as watching a ton of youtube videos I sure wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of that needle!!!On the last day of the course the teacher told me I would be able to come back on Saturdays and they would book clients for me. This sounded fair so i figured I would get my experience that way as I was leaving the country in another 3 weeks and to get at least a few full days under my belt maybe I would feel a little more confident. Well, the first Saturday was cancelled and then the next Saturday they booked one person for me and then I was told they can’t book Saturdays anymore due to insurance reasons. Rightt!!!!!After all this I was really pissed off so I called the gentleman that originally signed me up at least 4 times and emailed him also. He said he didn’t get my email (but somehow he got it when he wanted my money) and when I phoned him he told me he had to talk to the teacher and each time promised he would get back to me but of course he didn’t. Well, finally I got a hold of the teacher and she told me I could come back in May when the next course started but she would get back to me with a date. Well, what a surprise she never did and never responded to my emails asking about the date of the course. I also mentioned what happened to the 20 hours I didn’t get and she told me, “Oh, that’s the theory part, you have to read the book we gave you”. Oh, the book that she said the first day of the course, don’t really bother with the book because you will learn more doing hands on than reading the book.I guess they think I will just go away but I’m just getting started. I really hate being deceived. So if you are thinking of taking this or any other course at this school ask around, get other opinions and be very very careful with their sales pitch because they are really good at picking on the vulnerable.

My Boca Beauty experience was excellent, I got all the education I need to start my business in the world of aesthetics and wellness, I would not feel good without mentioning the administrative staff, from the front desk to office management and of course my educators in the classroom, my experience was nothing short but perfect.Thank you Boca Beauty Academy Cheers!
