My experience at Bright Horizons is really one of the best! My baby girl finally is on a sleeping schedule, napping 2-3 hours a day and no more waking up in the middle of the nights, she is learning new and different things and socializing with other toddlers. Also, I love the app, where you can see during the day what she eats and what she does , with pics and videos too!Totally recommend it!!

Our kids have been going to Bright Horizons at Tufts since 2018. The teachers are wonderful! Communication, especially over the last year, is always excellent. It is so cool to hear about all the things our preschooler is learning (anatomy, planets, musicians, artists...). Our youngest is so well cared for in the infant room with lots of snuggles and books. We love watching her smiles on the app during work!

We entrust our toddler son with the Bright Horizons team at Tufts Medical Center three days a week - and are thrilled with the care, education, and affection he receives there! Weve been impressed by the level of thoughtfulness that goes into the various activities and love getting photos and updates throughout the day. The team has been so sensitive to his needs and he now literally runs into the center every morning, excited about the day ahead!

Our girls Isabella and Charlotte AKA “Cookie” have thrived at Bright Horizons! The staff has made us feel like family and continue to prepare them for the next step of their education. I see the growth both mentally and emotionally every week. We could not be happier with our experience at Bright Horizons and and the highly skilled staff.

We’ve been with this Bright Horizins for both of our children for over five years and can’t speak highly enough about the staff and teachers. Both of our children have absolutely loved coming here and it’s hard to get them in the car to come home. The teachers are fantastic and trustworthy and we are lucky to have found such a great environment for our kids!

A chief marker of a schools success might be whether or not its students enjoy attending. My toddler son *adores* going to school (day care) at Bright Horizons at Tufts Medical Center (BHTMC). And I have some good reasons to understand why.The children operate on a regular schedule (designed to cultivate and reinforce self-sufficiency), reflective of the regularity with which the entire center seems to operate. From check-in to check-out, BHTMC appears to be a fairly well-oiled machine, with lots of room for daily improvisation. Highlights from the day are documented in the My Bright Day smart phone app, including photographic snapshots of scheduled activities and freeform playtime, so there is never any wonder what the little dude has been up to all day.As one might expect of an urban day care location, the clientele (and staff) is culturally diverse, and that diversity is smartly reflected in the activities and classroom materials. So far, Black History Month and Womens History month have been integrated into the curriculum—and there has been, too, at the center of several activities, a celebration of the family, in all its many possible guises. The commonality of difference is an important value.Beyond the efficient organization and general feel-good spirit about the BHTMC, our son appears to learning: He demonstrates at home what he has done at school, and, conversely, what our son learns at home seems to be reinforced at Bright Horizons. His vocabulary, sensory awareness, and physical coordination, in particular, have all grown, we suspect, due to his daily encounters at BHTMC with art, music, yoga, science, story time, etc.At the start of each day (following the daily COVID check), he bolts inside, and leaves each day with the glow of nine hours happily spent. I can only imagine that my son would, at this point offer: What is there not to recommend?

I love the staff at Bright horizons Tufts, the teachers help the children get ready for public schools and more. Each day the teachers greet the children with a smile, and they are always at work. My son likes to come to Tufts everyday he has so much fun and he is learning so much. The director Amy F.S. surprises us with guess such as, farm animals, drummers, local field trips, and more. Some of the children dont want to leave when its time to go home and they seem to love PIZZA DAY on Thursdays. The classrooms are clean, neat and organized, I see the teachers read to the children and sing songs through out the day.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this daycare. We had our son here for almost a year as an infant and he received the best care I could have imagined for him. The facility is secure, clean and beautifully maintained, but it is really the teachers that make this daycare the very special place that it is. Each teacher is so kind and loving to all the children. They don’t just care for them in terms of the essentials (feeding, changing, napping), but also introduce the babies to music, arts & crafts, and story time. They really strive to enrich the babies’ lives. They sent us digital and printed pictures of all the activities he got up to during the day. I had peace of mind every day that I dropped him off here and never worried once during the day. He was so happy every morning when we arrived, and lit up when he saw all his teachers. I would recommend this center to anyone seeking the best possible care for their child!

We used this location a couple times for Backup Care, a drop-in feature available with Bright Horizons. The staff had always been a bit surly, but thats not thats not why Im writing this review..... Some staff are simply not as friendly as others. Im writing this review in light of the last experience we had with them.Ive never dealt with a daycare that is so passionate about booting everyone out on time, and with such a lack of tactfulness. The last time we used them, the staff made quite a stink about my wife showing up 4-5 minutes late for their 5:45pm closing time, a closing time that they never clearly communicated with us to begin with (nearly all other Bright Horizons locations closed at 6pm). They called me at exactly 5:45, informing me that no one yet showed up. When she arrived, they didnt even greet her when she came in. They went straight to telling her that she was 5 minutes late, and that she had to sign a form saying she would pay a late fee. They then proceeded to tell her that our son had obedience problems (mind you, hes only 2 yrs old, and very well behaved). Overall the situation probably couldnt have been handled any more poorly. There are at least 3 other Bright Horizons facilities within a half mile radius of this location. I wholeheartedly recommend going to those instead.

Ill start out my review with saying that my daughter hasnt started daycare here yet. However, I felt compelled to write a review after touring this center and communicating with the centers director Amy over the past few months. We looked at Bright Horizons because we had a number of friends with children at different facilities that all raved about it. So it was on our list when we started looking into daycares when I was pregnant with our first child. We toured the Tufts Medical Center location because it was close to where we lived and worked. The staff here were wonderful in setting up our tour, showing us around, and communicating about all the different aspects since we definitely had A LOT of questions. (I was amazed at how many other daycares that we researched were awful at communication. I would email and leave voicemails to get information only to have nobody respond to me. It definitely didnt give me a great feeling about leaving my child there.) I just got a great feeling about this center from everything we saw and our experiences in working with them over the past few months to figure everything out. What I liked about this center: Great communication with staff whether it was over phone/email, super clean and bright, loved the programming they follow, great location downtown by the T, open door policy (you can drop in at any time to visit your little one which is great if youre breastfeeding or just want to say hi), and extra things to make a busy working parents life easier like stroller/car seat storage, loading zone, etc.
