The staffs are great & professional. Teachers Ms Kim and Ms Christine are patient, they listen and are very hands on. They ensure that everyone understands and gets full concepts of each activity. My had and awesome experience and would recommend this school to anyone.

On top of teaching us the fundamentals for the state board, the teachers and staff here go above and beyond to showcase what they know to us. They teach us life lessons as well as telling us their bad and good experiences while in this field of work. Their knowledge of the esthetician field is remarkable and I feel very prepared to begin my career in esthetics.

I loved going here, the teachers are very nice and genuine, and ultimately made me feel prepared for the world of aesthetics.

Recent Graduate of the Nail Tech 100 Course (Fall 2020) I had a wonderful experience attending JBA. It was definitely worth the money spent. Before attending, shopped other nail schools whom were 3-5x higher than JBA’s tuition and I am 100% glad I went with JBA.They have excellent communication via email and on the phone. The office responds very swiftly. (Another nail school called me back after completing my course at JBA, that’s how long they assumed I would’ve waited for a call back 😳)The online course was understandable and swift. Ms. LuAnne was very sweet and professional. She was clear with the information that was being taught from the Milady books. Her annunciation of the vocabulary terms still amazes me as they are all tongue twisters for me.The in-class lessons were the best part. Mr. David was my super nice instructor and secretly is a comedian. He was always available to show you how his way of trying a method. He was always there when we called for help. He has 15 eyes so will catch you as soon as you miss a step (or try to skip one, lol) He was a great coach and I am super thankful to have had the opportunity to learn from him.At the end, I completed my course within the 30 days and PASSED my state exam.PROSPECTIVE STUDENT RECOMMENDATIONS:• DOUBLE CHECK - don’t be afraid to ask. A lot of miscommunication happened between online and in-class transition but as long as you ask the office or Instructor David you should be fine• KEEP TRACK of yourself and your hours - No one will chase you as you reach certain benchmarks so be sure to keep your own tally as well and frequently have it checked in case of errors. TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY for yourself.• PRIORITIZE - Don’t get Lazy and Skip Days; you will only delay yourself and can risk of being charged for not completing before your expected graduation date

The building is quite spacious. The ground floor is the living place of the old club, very lively.

I was attended by a Hispanic girl who is studying to be a teacher, she oriented me to Close to my Hair, I made a cut and bought some products that I was delighted. Although some students are not very friendly

The worst of the experiences when a professional is supposed to correct the bone color of a clients mistek. I went to school because I bleached my bone hair I had four years of growth and I bleached it and had whiter ends. I just told him that I wanted to even out my points even if I had to use a darker tint number than I ever had. I told him that I wanted to bring my trunk to the color of the tips, and then I designed the very professional one, he left me a color in my hair the growth for more than 45 minutes and in the end I told him that that was not the solution because that was not what I asked for but the very professional left my hair worse than it arrived because I took a bleach that I already had to clarify my growth to a Cupertino yello and the very intelligent one 🤓 charges me for nothing. I give her a star 💫 for the student 👩‍🎓 who attended me who behaved more than professional and she knew what I knew that this process was a waste of time and then the teachers told me 👩‍🏫 to come back if I dont like it 👎 that it will be for me (for free) for real you think that I will put my hands where a person that for me was not 👎 was a professional for me that was worse than an inexperienced one because the student knew that she was wrong and I did not hear that she was getting things wrong 👎
