Terrible experience from start to finish. They didnt do the personal interview/assessment in May 2019 with my daughter to match a tutor because they dont have as many tutors in the summer. I should have never signed up. The tutor they did randomly assign couldnt meet our availability, so we juggled our family schedule around her other job. When she stopped tutoring in the fall, Tutor Doctor did not inform us or interview my daughter for another match. A new tutor texted me out of the blue asking to schedule. We did not schedule and chose to keep our hours until this summer. As a result of Covid, I lost my job so requested a refund instead of a new tutor for this summer. I was told today that my hours expired a year after purchase and that info was included in the terms and conditions I agreed to a year ago. I indicated that some communication about my expiring hours and a reminder to use or lose them would have been nice, John told me that he normally sends such reminders (which I doubt given the lack of communication once my money was paid) but since things got crazy the past few months he wasnt up on things like he usually is. No exceptions due to the craziness of the times, no refund. No attention or consideration from this business after they processed my credit card. No integrity or follow through!

I really appreciate the time that is taken to pair a tutor with a student. Both personality and energy were beautifully matched with my quiet, reserved daughter. She achieved an A in math and was nominated to the Junior Honor Society. She loves her tutor!

My daughter absolutely loves Ms. Madeline with Tutor Doctors. She had a previous tutor that she disliked so it was hard for me to convince her to try another. However, Ms. Madline and she became fast friends that she looks forward to meeting with and helping her with projects and school work.
