In recent years two of my grandchildren took violin and piano lessons from Parlando teachers. I found in both cases that their teachers were extremely highly qualified in music both in performance and theory. Moreover, they were passionate about their music and conveyed that same passion to their students. Parlando has the bonus of scheduling small recitals, which helps the students build confidence in a very supportive atmosphere.

I have two kids that have been a part of Parlando for the last couple of years. My daughter now in high school takes voice lessons and my son in elementary school takes piano lessons. All of their instructors have been excellent and my kids love them! It has been awesome to see such growth in their musical skills as well as their overall character and for that I give great thanks to their instructors. Marnie Ward teaches voice and has gone above and beyond to help my daughter with her musical theater interest from helping her prepare for auditions, music and scene selections, stage presence, voice development and even attending some of my daughters performances. We have also been a part of the musical theater productions which have been a fantastic experience! Directors Kristen Brown and Marnie Ward were outstanding with the casting and production of Little Women.

My young daughter has been taking violin lessons for almost a year. Its been a great experience. The teacher is not only a great violinist, but also knows how to teach. Shes patient and kind, but also firm. So while learning to play the violin my daughter is also learning about trying something even when its hard.

This is our second year in Parlando and we couldnt be happier. Teachers are highly qualified and experienced, but more importantly my kids love their teachers. They are taking piano and clarinet classes and my older son has participated in the summer theater camp last June, and hopes to do it again this summer. And probably next.

Parlando School has a great faculty. My daughter starts there when she was 2 1/2 years old in a Summer Camp. It was so good because it open her curiosity for violin and since then ( now she is 8 years old),she has been doing private lessons of violin. Not only that, but also she had done voice lessons, group piano lessons and now she is completing her 3 year on piano private lesson. Every class we had participated , just reassure our highest opinion about this school. We 💯 % recommend it.

Parlando is the best music school in Boulder, Colorado. We have taken music lessons there for 9 years and also attended their amazing summer camps. I have three children, all of whom have taken piano and instrumental lessons through Parlando. As a child, I received a rigorous music education and wanted the same for my children. By all accounts, the school has been a great fit for our family. One of my children prefers a relaxed pace with popular music selections, one of my children enjoys a rigorous classical repertoire with periodic competitive opportunities, and one of my children enjoys a wide range of music selections and a balance between competitive and lighthearted play. Parlando meets the needs of each of my children and ultimately, has given them the joy of music. They have a quality music faculty who are skilled musicians and teachers, many of whom have masters and PhDs. They will also teach lessons in your home for a nominal fee. This is a stellar organization. The management of the students is excellent - pairing them with highly educated and caring music teachers of all disciplines. Recitals are professionally handled and yet intimate affairs, giving students both the opportunity to perform and the ability to do so without undue stress. Communication with both our individual teacher and the organization has been excellent. Highly recommended!

Signing up for piano lessons for our daughters at Parlando has been a fantastic decision. Theyve had the same teacher for years and they have grown so much together during that time. My girls will now sit down and play piano just for fun at home -- its such a joy to see!

Parlando School of the Arts has surpassed my expectations. My son started playing violin only six months ago and I am impressed by the progress he has made in such a short time. We started with a Music investigators class were we did a short lesson on 3 instruments. I believe my son choose violin mostly because of the way the teacher interacted with him. Renee has been exceptional and has a real ability to meet him where he is at with his interest. She goes off book to provide him with music selections that interest him. He is a very active boy and I was worried, but he has thrived. Getting him to practice is easy because he loves it so much!

Parlando has been a great fit for all three of our daughters and their love of music. Here, we finally found a voice coach who is a perfect fit. Satya is talented, charming, warm, professional and inspiring. Travis, the executive director, has been a gem to work with. There are opportunities at Parlando for singing, instrumental music and of course, musical theater. What a local treasure!

Parlando is an outstanding entity! The effort that is put forth by the leadership to find the right teacher, the most accommodating times and the best possible way for a person to flourish in their specific musical endevours is unlike any I have ever known. My daughter adores music and Parlando has been a wonderful venue for her to explore, experience and grow. She has been nurtured and challenged with caring personnel and a plethora of opportunities to fine tune her skills. We are humbled and honored to be a part of such a wonderful School.

Her instructor is patient, friendly and finds fun and flexible ways to customize the lessons based on my daughters strengths so she stays engaged. The Dairy Center facility is a joy for me to explore while my daughter takes her lesson. There are art exhibits, movies, a cafe and so much more.

Both of my children have been taking lessons with Parlando for a few years now. The teachers Ive worked with have always been friendly and patient with my children, as well as willing to work with our schedule, even when my son switched instruments and had to have a new instructor.
