Impressive. Very much appreciate the consistent, genuine focus on safety. Kenny and Mark are both top-tier, professional, dedicated instructors. I am considerably older than most of my training partners, but am able to scale what I do. Positive learning environment with an excellent group of fellow students. I have always been interested in learning the art, but I kept hearing how people get hurt fast. Then I found this place and its been great. Im learning all of the BJJ principles SAFELY in Gracie COMBATIVES!!! Kenny is awesome, always ready to hit the mat an extra time so you get it crispy. Everyone is helpful...even the younger BJJs. All age ranges, from 13 and up in GC. While there are mostly males, there are females to work with as well. From what I hear, the prices are more reasonable as well and there are no contracts. Im 50 and loving my learning. Just in the short time I have been attending, the family has grown. Come try it out for 10 days free! See you on the mat!!

As someone who struggles with PTSD and severe Anxiety, going to Bowie Jiu-Jitsu Academy has helped me immensely to feel confident and reassured in social situations, where otherwise, I would completely shut down due to an overwhelming amount of fear.The instructors of the academy are truly heart warming and very patient with their students, I found a real sense of family amongst the martial scholars and their coach.I look forward to many more years of learning at this wonderful academy.

Really fun especially Coach Kenny he’s a fun dude and an informative instructor. I really like the camaraderie here, feels like family here. This IS the place to learn Jiujitsu due to the fact it’s so systematically structured to help people on the street(Gracie Combatives). I will continue to stay here for more and more years! 👏👏

Really nice place, great and understanding instructor Mr. Kenny that gives helpful information, A awesome place to learn jiu-jitsu. The bully proof gives good skills to teach children the safeties of bullying and how to defend yourself, as for the combatives helps you learn basic and advanced jiu jitsu, along with other helpful lessons and on Mondays & Thursdays, There are after hours for people who want to stay for 5-15 minutes to help them better their techniques.

My son is having a blast in his virtual classes with the instructor, Kenny and can’t wait until the academy can open up for in-person lessons. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend Bowie Jiu-Jitsu Academy with extremely knowledgeable instructors, virtual class offerings (soon to be physical location in addition) all at an extremely affordable price!! Kenny and team are excellent at teaching self defense to adults and also offer kid classes (Bullyproof) as taught at Gracie Academy for a great workout for you to feel empowered and safe!!

I have been studying BJJ with Bowie Jiu-Jitsu instructor Kenny Nero for some time now. He is a dedicated and compassionate instructor who lives and breathes Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. He takes his study and his instruction seriously. I am older and not looking for a competitive school, like the ones I have trained at in the past. I am a business man and have to work and dont want to be torn, bruised and beat up like I was at some of the other schools. I was basically fodder for the upper belts.
