What a let down! I searched and searched for the perfect place to leave my child. After reading all of the great reviews, I though we had found what we were looking for at Child Care of Brandon, but boy were we wrong. My daughter was enrolled at just over a year old. She was enrolled into the one year old class, where she seemed to be adjusting okay. Unfortunately, her primary teacher ended up leaving and that is when we started having a lot of problems. There were several times I had to call the daycare and ask them why my child was sitting alone in a chair pushed up to a table with absolutely nothing to do. No toy, no food or drink, no crayon...nothing. Not even another child or adult to interact with. They said that my daughter wasnt interacting well with the other kids, and they did this to keep her safe. I had never had anyone mention to me that Ember wasnt doing well with the other kids, and I had definitely never been told they were having to segregate her to keep her from being bullied. I had to call and question what was going on. I also had to inform them that this was not the correct way to handle said situation. In addition, they have 2 non English speaking teachers teaching the one year old class for over 5 hours a day. LET ME REPEAT. THE CHILDREN WHO ARE SUPPOSED TO BE LEARNING HOW TO SPEAK ENGLISH ARE WITH TWO WOMEN WHO ARE NOT FLUENT IN ENGLISH FOR OVER 5 HOURS A DAY. I have been told multiple times that the teachers do speak English, yet every time I try and ask them a question or give them direction regarding my child, they tell me they dont understand me and that they do not speak English. Their exact words. When I approached the director about this she told me they have always hired Spanish speakers, as if to imply that I have a problem with my child being around Spanish speakers. That is not the problem. The problem is that in order for 1-2 year olds to learn how to speak English they need to be around other people who speak English as much as possible. I am not paying $160 a week to leave my kid for a majority of her day with someone who can not communicate with her effectively. I feel this has delayed my daughters development and probably that of the other children as well. This is irresponsible and reflects the lack of care and responsibility the daycare takes. As I told the director this morning, they should be ashamed of themselves. I have a long list of other complaints, but there is only so much I can type. Maybe dont feed the kids bread three times a day and call it a meal plan.. ugh!! I would not recommend sending your child here unless you are just looking for a convenient location and are not concerned with the quality of care your child will actually receive throughout the day.

This place is fantastic. Brought my 18 month here for his first stint of childcare. He had a tough time acclimating to being away from us, but the staff here went above and beyond to make him (and us!) feel comfortable. After a while he loved it! Can’t thank them and the teachers enough for everything they did for us. I have and will continue to refer everyone here.

My son currently goes to preschool at the Brandon town center location. Its been four months now and he loves it. This year was his first time being in daycare. I was a little concerned about leaving him with strangers because up till this year he had always been taken care of by my mother. However, I felt better about this after his first day. When I picked my son up he told me how much he likes school, his teachers, and friends. I love how much the teachers there care for the kids and the dedication they show for the kids. Its only been four months but I can see how much my son has learned so far. Its nice to get daily reports about the activities he did in class. I also have access anytime throughout the day to the classroom cameras. Its really nice to get to see my son interacting with other students.

My baby girl went to this daycare back in 2017 when she was only 10 months old. I had to change daycare when after a month of her being here because of work schedules.... And all I can say is I cant wait for her to be back there. I called to get availability for 3 years old classroom and they are full until next year. The girls at the office here are Amazing, Amy and Jen are the ones I remember and they loved my little Aurora, they remember her when I called wondering the availability. That says a lot of a place. The care workers they had on the infant room back then were amazing, they had a job to do and a schedule to follow. There are rules on this places for kids safety, and as parents we want our kids to be taken care like we would do at home but its impossible to pamper and cuddle 4 kids at a time. I used to walk in and there was always people from other classroooms helping and cuddling and playing with the little babies, it was a great experience. I cant wait for her to go back there next year and continue learning with the same love she was cared for when she was a baby. They are opening new locations all over the area. 😉 I fully recommend it.

Wonderful facilities and caring staff. I love the nanny cam, I can monitor everything that happens there from my iPhone. The facility is enormous and extremely well kept. Compare it to the competition, this is the best choice by far. When you tour the hallways you can see the artwork of all of the children and plans for the rest of the month. I cannot stress how organized and clean the facility is!

Ive worked with the business owner on multiple occasion and he is one of the most caring and thoughtful person I have met. The staff and the children had a field trip at my place of work and they were all well behaved and responded positively to all of the Childcare of Brandon Staffs instructions. We had a great time with the staff and the kids and we would gladly have them back. You can really see they treat the children as if they were their own.

I have two children at Child Care of Brandon Bloomingdale and I am very help they are apart of this amazing school. Ive watched my boy blossom so much here. The staff is very detailed about the kids day, and with live nanny cams you can always peek in on them. My boys love the school too. My oldest is very excited about going to school there. The school is very secure also with finger print access to the interior of the school. Staff is very friendly too! Ms. Claudia and Ms. Jennifer run a very school.

I just want to take the time to express how awesome summer camp was. Having a daughter with Austism the teachers were able to incorporate my daughters needs and include her in all activities!I can say that I loved and enjoy hearing about all the field trips they had and the hands on activities provided for the kids. I feel that this summer camp experience for her has been one the best. At first it was a hard adjustment but at the end it was worth it.Thank you summer camp teachers for all that you did 🤗!!! From expierence working there, i can say it has good and bad. The staff is a mixture of teachers who act like they dont want to be there and staff who do. I have witnessed a teacher mrs Belkis grab a 1 yr old a little to hard and a little to frustrated and drag him to his seat as well as aggressively lay him on The mat. Alot of the teachers dont have patience with the babies and get frustrated to fast which makes the kids feel bad. Some of the teachers i have worked with such as mrs marty and the other 1 yr old room. Next to mrs belkis. Those teachers have the patience and kindness needed to work there and we need more teachers like them. The directors need ro also understand that as a teacher if we call in because we are sick its probably because we dont want to get the students sick which is part of our job. Theyre three. Or six point system needs to be completely thrown out the window. Other than that the place is clean and the kids learn and have fun from what ive seen

Child Care of Brandon is an absolutely wonderful facility! And I say this as a single mom whose single solitary concern is the safety and well being of her ONLY child. My daughter has gone here since she was 4 months old and she is now going on 18 months. It started with Ms. Sonja and Ms. Yvette in the baby room, where my daughter was cared for with such a nurturing, loving manner that it still leaves me smiling when I think about it. My daughter is now with Ms. Ashley and when I see how she has grown and is developing I couldnt be happier.Any slight issue or concern that I have had has been quickly addressed and I have been immediately put at ease and I, like any new mom can admit to being slightly obsessive when it comes to my baby. The key is communication, and the lines of communication have always been open. The staff here genuinely care about my daughter and my daughter ADORES all of them! They go above and beyond what anyone could expect...when I tore my Achilles tendon and was on crutches, they helped me in any way that they could so as to make it as easy as possible for me, which I still appreciate.I love this place so much that even though I commute over an hour to work in Orlando, I have no plans to move closer to my job until my daughter is older...if even then so that she can stay at this facility as long as possible.Ms. Amber, Ms. Marge, Ms. Claudia and Ms. Jenn are all top-notch and even the owner is wonderful. Youll be far-fetched to find a place better than this....I like to give credit where credit is due.Update: 6/2/2017 - You guys are still the all-time best!! My daughter is now 2 and is smart as can be, she is a loving, happy child and being that she spends a large bulk of her time during the week here I have to give you all credit! As a working mom, I could never thank you enough for loving and caring for my Peanut the way that you do! Kudos! Kudos! And more Kudos!

It was our first experience with a daycare... and let me tell you one thing.. this place it’s so good that ruined “daycares” for us! My daughter have been there for a couple of months, she was under my mom watch all the time until we have to put her on a daycare. We did sooo much research and visit more than 5 and I when I went to childcare of Brandon I just got that click!! I call my husband and tell him I found the one, he went and saw by himself how good vibes and environment you feel there, the security, the food, everything! My daughter after a couple of weeks stop crying and now when she see her teacher in the morning her happy face talk by itself!Unfortunately right now it’s not practical to keep having our little one there cause I change my job and now it’s far far from it. And after visit many ones close to my new work and close to our house we won’t feel comfortable with any other but childcare of Brandon. Miss Dana it’s adorable and the love I see she and miss Kristal give to my daughter definitely put us in a hard position (we don’t want leave this place)... so for now we decide make the sacrifice and drive a little more but keep our daughter there.Thank you for take care of our kids in the way you do guys.

I would not recommend this day care, after only being there for a month my niece was miss treated. My youngest niece who is ten months was left in a dirty diaper. Leaving her with a horrible rash that lasted a few days. Yes, the place is nice to look at and its high tech so you can watch your kids but overall they are not concerned for child safety.Because I cannot respond to your carefully worded comment, I will add to my own. I will not put my sisters name on here but the as she and her husband spoke with the teacher is showed in the diaper changing log that she was not changed for several hours. And yes your cameras are very helpful for both the parents and family members to watch, and again this is another situation brought to the attention of your teachers as not once but twice did one of your teachers drag my oldest neice, who is two, by her arm to pull her away from the door. Luckily my mother, her grandmother, was watching and called the school immediately, informing both my sister and her father of the situation. And the response was it couldnt be seen clearly from your cameras, however, my mother saw it perfectly. I fully understand as a new child care facility that you are looking to uphold a standard, however, when an issue is addressed it should be corrected not covered up. And I can assure you this is a real response from an unhappy aunt.

Childcare of Brandon (Lithia)Avoid at all cost!!! After touring multiple facilities around the area our family decided to place our 18 month old in the care of Childcare of Brandon. Our choice was based off of cost and convenience, we also loved the fact that we would be able to watch him when we wanted.Initially our experience was great, our son had Mrs. Dana and she was always so amazing with our son. Any time that I logged in to check on my little one she would have a smile on her face which showed me that she really loved her job. I always had light conversation with her when I was dropping my son off and we would always have positive interactions. Things began to change a week ago when my son had a minor accident at home. We treated him at home and when that information was disclosed to the facility they began building a case against our family. Our son contracted a virus in the facility within the same week and had a fever of 101 degrees. We were never called about this and only knew about it upon picking him up and having a paper shoved in our face stating he won’t be back for 24 hours. We took him to his pediatrician the next day and from there decided to keep him out for the rest of the week. He began feeling better over the weekend and woke up without a fever for 2 days so we chose to put him back in daycare today and my husband and I went to my doctors appointment today.During my appointment I placed my phone on silent so that I could speak with my Rheumatologist without interruption. I missed a call from the daycare facility letting us know that our son was running a fever so they called my husband to let him know. He let them know that we would be there to pick him up but it would be an hour before we could get there. An hour later he got a call saying that “We need to take this seriously or they will report us to the Department of Children’s services”. My husband let them know that we were only 20 minutes away but we were in route. We picked our son up took him home and an hour later a cop was at our front door asking to come inside. They said that they had a call to do a welfare check on my children and needed pictures of my children. The detective said she was under the impression that my son had an entire burn on his arm. I’m just appalled that a childcare facility would falsely accuse our family of abuse. The detective searched our home to find no forms of abuse or neglect and left our home.I immediately drove up to the facility and withdrew our child.

Childcare of Brandon was exactly what we needed when changing schools. My son was attending a very well known daycare chain. And they werent terrible, but I felt like we could not get answers or communication the way I would like. In the world we live in today most of the communication is done online and working a 9-to-5 job can be very difficult to make a phone call. With childcare of Brandon, I immediately get responses to my emails, which I have to send often due to reimbursement papers for work, any concerns I have is immediately addressed. I get notifications with pictures throughout the day. So even though I have to spend hours away from my kids, that doesnt keep me from seeing their growth and their development. And if theres any concerns at any point I can always just check in with the cameras that they have located in my childs classroom and playground. The school was really everything that we needed and when we needed it, and not to mention it is affordable. The staff there is just amazing and very caring. I am sad that VPK is over and that my son will be transitioning to kindergarten, but I also feel happy to know that my little girl will soon be attending Childcare of Brandon and I can feel assured that she will be taken care of and safe.

Despite paying for care, once VPK started the instructor told me they have to focus more on getting the kids who arent used to daycare adjusted and expect the ones who were there already to understand. The kids-to-care giver ratio was too high. They need to staff more.If you choose to work in the child care profession kids arent easy to deal with and you should speak to the parents when they drop their children off.Lastly,The decision was made to remove my child and instead of telling me in person or giving us time to find a new location, they emailed me on a Friday evening. That is unacceptable.Edit: To clarify most of the staff did give an effort to work with my child while he was in daycare but there was one caregiver in particular that was not only standoffish towards my child but to my wife, mother and aunt. I should never come to a classroom and no one speak.I understand the facility had a decision to make but to do it in the manner it was done here is unacceptable and to contact my wife instead of me when any other time they would call me is unacceptable. Even after this review that I wrote instead of contacting me they contacted my wife. If youre a business and have to make a decision be more professional about it please and thank you.

My son was in this daycare last year at the Brandon location for a few months, the business has a real time nanny cam and parents have 20 times you can log in and grandparents etc. We used our max amount of viewings everyday. My son was only 1 years old and would be on camera crying as in the middle of the room and the workers would pass him by for a length of 20 minutes, no one consoled him and checked on him. We expressed to daycare he wasnt good with spoon feeding his self, he starved there, literally. We watched a young afro american employee supposed helping feed my child. She dropped his spoon ,picked it up and scratched her nose with it then fed my son with it. I confronted the management and had them watch the footage they didnt do nothing about it to the employee. I was so furious that these people have cameras and know parents are watching but they could care less about your kids. They take photos of your kids doing art and playing in the playground to make it seem like they are having fun but in the background these kids are falling and going head first down the slide. Its a careless crew of women watching your kids. PLEASE utilise the camera and check on your kids. My son was in the toddler rooms.i even asked if he could have water throughout the day and provided closed bottled water to every kid in my sons class,I personally put it in their cubbie. I saw my son pointing to his cubbie and crying for the water they grabbed him and pulled him away from his cubbie. They never gave the kids those bottles of water. They only give drinks to your child at meal time and supposedly once after outside play. My son everyday would come in my car after daycare and cry and cry for food and water. We brought full meals with me to pick him up because he isnt fed properly and is dehydrated. They grab the kids very roughly by their arm dragging them even to change their diper. If I could I would rate this daycare a 0 or less. Dont get fooled by their pretty painted walls. This place is very neglectful and harmful. I screen shotted alot of the stuff they did to keep it for proof, needless to say my son didnt stay past a few months. I probably will get a riview response of a lie from the business stating they checked their records and my son never attended here but funny I just received my tax paperwork from them for 2018...This was the first childcare we ever put him in what a disaster of a place to a new mom to experience...

This Daycare only cares about money! And be careful if your child behaves bad ( how dare a 2 yo to do that right??) They will try to get rid of them by fabricating fever episodes so you have to pick him up!! I have proof!! They did it to my twice one week!!
