I love and trust all the teachers at Childrens Academy. In todays society, this is the most important thing to any parent. My kids have been at Childrens Academy since they were 3 months old and I knew I wanted them to go there the moment I walked through the door. The entire staff is amazing and really do love the kids. Mine are always so happy at drop off and pick up and even run to Ms. Christie, Ms. Nicole and Ms. Lucy. You would think they were family lol. My kids learn new things every day and its so exciting to have them come home with new vocabulary and new skills on a continuous basis. I also get pictures throughout the day and I love getting to see the activities the kids do everyday. I cannot praise this school and their entire staff enough. To be able to go to work and know that your kids are in great hands is truly priceless.

My daughter is 4 and absolutely loves this place and loves her teachers! They are always super friendly in the office and know all the kids names and there interests. She has learned a lot so far and is excited about attending this school.

Childrens Academy is absolutely amazing. Every staff member is caring and attentive. My daughter has been here since she was three months old, and she is just the happiest baby here! She is currently ten months old and loves all of her teachers. The office staff is helpful and responsive. This is a wonderful place!

Childrens Academy is as close to family as you will get! Our son has attended Childrens Academy since just before he was 3 months old and now he is 3 years old. The staff is especially accommodating. What we noticed most during our tour of the school was the owner, yes owner, sweeping and cleaning the hallway! The staff pretty much follows suit. Meaning, no one sits behind a desk all day without being active with the children. The atmosphere is that of a school and do NOT call it a daycare. :) That is because there is a curriculum for the children beginning at one year old! The structure helped me be a better parent and with family 1,000 miles away in Michigan, we found the perfect next thing in the staff at CA. The price, hours of operation and what you receive for the tuition is incomparable. It will be very hard to leave once my son gets out of Kindergarten. Luckily, we are expecting again so our journey at CA will last at least 5 more years! :)

This my 3rd round and 15 years with CA and the exceptional quality has not changed! If you want a staff that loves your kids just as you do this is the place!

I have loved Childrens Academy for many, many years now. I registered my oldest child before she was even born when Ms. Susanna, the original owner, was still there. Baldwin & Debbie Sterling had become the new owners by the time my daughter started attending. I was ecstatic to know that the new owners believed in and have carried on the same education concept that the school was founded on and heralded for within the local community. Now my family has been a part of the Childrens Academy family for over 8 years, and the lessons in education, life, compassion, kindness, responsibility, friendship, creativity, passion, and imagination are forever with us all. There is a strong sense of community and giving back present in everyday life at Childrens Academy, teaching our children to care about others and want to make our world a better place. The teachers are some of the most creative, talented, devoted, and loving educators you could ever meet. Everyone at Childrens Academy strives to make each day the best day for each child. Simple activities like morning circle time, Kindness Awards, field trips, Artist of the Week, and daily grace repeated before meals really connect everyone who is a part of the Childrens Academy family and cannot be ignored. I was a parent at Childrens Academy for 10 years. All three of my children attended CA from infant/toddler to the after school care program. We felt like we were part of a close knit family. My oldest daughter is going into high school and her closest friends are still the friends she made at Childrens Academy in Preschool. The parents are amazing and the overall climate and cultural were not only supportive to my childrens growth, but was a supportive environment for the whole family. Our children have excelled academically and we believe the foundation they received from Childrens played a part in their academic successes. We were also thrilled with the social and emotional addition to their curriculum in 2014 and the schools partnership with Program Wide Positive Support program through USF, this addition brought so much to the school and we loved how it added to our sons social emotional growth! We love Mr. Baldwin and the whole CA family! Our years with Childrens were priceless and I wish we could do it all over again! Wonderful teachers, great curriculum, great friends= happy parents!

Childrens Academy is so good!!! The owners, Debbie & Baldwin, are caring and professional. The staff is loving, long term and continually goes above and beyond. In regards to the comments about the money, I disagree, I feel at Childrens you get an exceptional value. I feel incredibly comfortable bringing my son and daughter there and would recommend CA to others in a heartbeat. CA prepared both of them for elementary school very well.

Childrens Academy is a very loving and family oriented environment. All the teachers get to know all the students. Every morning my 2 children hurry to get dressed so they can get to school as early as possible.Teachers and staff are very easy to speak to and listens to anything you have to say. I feel my kids are very safe attending school there. I recommend this school to anyone who inquires about a daycare/school to send their kids. Parents are able to attend class parties and go on field trips. The Facebook page updates with pictures daily (best part of my Day). Thank you CA

We have been coming to Childrens Academy since the early 80s. Ms Susana was my teacher and also my sisters kindergarten teacher. Now both of my children have been coming to Childrens Academy since 2011 under the new owners and we would not be anywhere else. VPK and Kindergarten program are excellent and they are teaching higher level curriculum. Ms Heather and Ms Chris really are outstanding and the most caring amazing teachers you will ever find. In fact, all of the Staff and teachers are amazing and we love this school and after care program. They treat every child like family and always give the extra care and attention our children need. You will love this school, best in Brandon Area!!!

Family oriented place. My daughter started in Children Academy in 2008, she still going during summer time, a place that we really trust for our daughter. We recommended this place to 4 coworkers and they love this place.Love, love, love the owners and the staffs.

My wife and I enrolled our daughter at Childrens Academny almost two and a half years ago and we couldnt be happier. From the infant room, now to the big building, she has loved each new experience and especially her teachers. The communication we receive each week from the office and her teachers is fantastic and I would highly recommend Childrens Academy to anyone and everyone who cares about their childs education and development. Ms. Kat, Debbie, and Baldwin are the best!

All 3 of my children went to CA from 18 months to 5-6 years of age, and had an awesome experience! The teachers are amazing, the curriculum was challenging, and my children thrived. The love they showed our children was unending.

I cant say enough good things about this school. From the director to the teachers everyone is amazing. We had a very bad experience at another school. My son is in VPK & the original school we were in just wasnt a good fit. I love the interactive environment. Its not just sit & learn, its lets explore, discuss, & learn. Ms. Heather & Ms. Liz are amazing. They take the time to help your child & they arent afraid to get dirty with them. Plus they go above & beyond what I would have ever expected. Thank you. I highly recommend this school to anyone.

Ive enjoyed having my two children attend Childrens Academy since they were 6 months old. Im continually impressed with how much they learn every day - not only the academics, but they are learning social and communication skills as well. The few times I did have personal concerns, the director and staff were approachable and available to answer and address my questions and concerns in a fair and respectful manner. Childrens Academy is so much more than a daycare environment for the younger ages even before the VPK experience.

Our son was there when he was 18 months old and we liked it, they were also good with newborns. Its a little tight sometimes, but the play area is good and the staff is wonderful!

Having a background in Early Childhood Education I searched extensively for an early care environment that enacted elements important to early learning (i.e. play, exploration, creativity, critical thinking) and took into account the needs and interests of the children. CA is no short of this. Every educator, including the leadership, at the school demonstrates a demeanor that shows how much they care about each child and have taken time to get to know them- whether the child is in that class or not. School leadership have a clear vision and mission for the school and work to support the staff in making this the best environment for both children and families. Parent communication is frequent (notes home, online, social media) and the staff is always willing to talk more in depth as needed. Numerous opportunities for parent involvement exist as well as ways for students to engage in extracurricular activities on site.Overall I am beyond thankful that CA has been a part of our family.

Children’s Academy has literally been like family to us for the last five years. I initially researched several schools and Children’s Academy was in my top two despite the fact that I lived in Apollo Beach. The other school I was interested was literally 5 minutes down the street. However, despite the distance, my heart kept telling me that Children’s Academy was the place for my son. I loved that they had a curriculum for the kids and it wasn’t a daycare. I wanted my son to learn but also have fun! And also, given my son was coming from a home daycare, I was really hoping that I could find a place that would feel almost like home to him where he would be loved and nurtured. Well I received all that and more! I cant say enough good things about the owners, directors, and staff and the commitment that they have for the kids. And I have personally gotten attached to every single teacher and each time my son moved to another class I was just as sad as he was! My son went through the pre-school program, VPK, and even stayed for Kindergarten and I will be forever grateful for the love, kindness and support that they gave him. Hes now flourishing in a new school but still loves to come back and visit!Children’s Academy also ended up being perfect because they had an infants room which I ended up needing just a year later. My daughter has been there since she was 4 ½ months old and though it was still hard to leave her, I have never felt more comfortable that my baby was being taken care of. I loved having my kids at the same school and the staff would often share stories and pictures of the two of them interacting at school which always made my day. She’s 3 now and loves the school and the teachers! Choosing a school for your child can be stressful and isnt always a great experience but I can honestly say that Childrens Academy has been amazing and I feel blessed to have found them!

Worst place Ive ever enrolled my daughter there were roaches everywhere and rust in the sink! It was disgusting not to mention there was also rat poison behind the food cabinets Im not sure how this place continues to pass liscensing its actually very sad please dont enroll your child here save yourself the heartache.

The person who recommended this day care to me used to inspect day cares for the county and he clearly knew what he was talking about. Our boys have been there for over 2 years, in pre-school, kindergarten and after-school program and we all love Childrens Academy. After just a few weeks there, we felt like our boys were part of the Childrens Academy family. The staff is incredible. They all truly love kids, they enjoy interracting with kids and making things fun for them. The kindergarten teacher is fabulous. She spends time with each child, adapts her teaching to each childs needs and creates a good group dynamic. Our boys love her! After-school kids go on field trips every Friday. We drop off our boys at Childrens Academy and pick them up there, and they bring them to school and back. The center organizes parties for major holidays and sometimes they open for a few hours during the weekend so parents can go on a date. They have an active parent community on facebook, where we can ask for reference for doctors and such. It really feels like were part of a family and not just dropping off our kids to a day care. All this for a very reasonable price compared to our previous day care. Unless something major changes, our boys are probably going to stay there until theyre too old for day care. We strongly recommend this center to any family looking for a day-care or after-school program in the Brandon area.

My child stayed at home with her mom until she was 2 years old and I was very concerned about any preschool to put her in. My sister put her kids in Childrens Academy and told me all about it, so I decided to go up there and give it a tour. The very first thing I noticed about this school was the smell. It did NOT have the normal day care smell and just with that you know this school is very clean. I also LOVED that from 12months & up they have a cirriculum. My daughter was saying all of her shapes, colors, ABCs, counting to 15 in English and 10 in Spanish by the 3rd month she was there. I have toured other schools prior to CA and they either had the bad smell or I just didnt feel comfortable leaving my child there. I would recommend CA to everyone.
