I went there and it was a great experience compared to the five other schools that I went to before. I was in the Discovery program and I found that the kids in the program were learning at my level. One of my friends has a parent who works there and she does agree that in the Discovery program there were some extreme personalities, but that does not represent the whole school and she says that making the decision to go into the Discovery program has changed her life for the better and she is looking forward to having more good experiences at the Renaissance schools. The teachers there are amazing and kind, the small size of the student body helps to create personal connections with the teachers, and everyone knows everyone else. I have never seen a case of extreme bullying in that school, and I am sure that if there really was, it would be dealt with quickly and efficiently. And the voyages are life changing and help to create bonds between crew mates. REMS is a great school, and I hope that you take the chance on the school.

REMS was an amazing school for me. It was much better than my previous school. I was placed in the discovery program and that has honestly been a life saver for me. The curriculum was built for the students in the program. I made numerous new friends who think like I do and developed a family who was there for me whenever I needed them. Im still very close with the friends today. The voyages may seem threatening at first, but in the end, they pull students closer together, even though they may be hard. These trips teach students things without the four walls of a classroom. REMS made me realize that learning isnt always sitting an memorizing things:its about experiencing them first hand.REMS was a life changer for me, and I hope you give your students a chance here.

Honestly the BEST school i’ve ever been to. there’s an amazing sense of family and I love it. I was placed in the discovery program and the curriculum was tailored to me and was perfect. this school made learning fun, and I looked forward to going there every day while I was there.

This school has damaged so many families with their lack of readiness for the school year. There has been no consistency learning or edition education. Virtually no supervision resulting in My daughter being assaulted 3 times. Teachers proud of the fact they graduated with 2.8 gpas and teaching extremely controversial subjects, while leaving out needed content for college texh school etc...After a meeting with one teacher who cried thanking me for making her not feel crazy, the teacher quit the next day. We removed our daughter after trying for weeks. Horrible wrecking so many families and student future years to come.

I went there and i felt that i did not meet as many standards that i wanted to reach there just because they dont have time to teach the main things that you need but it is overall a pretty good school. But compared to the secondary school it is legendary because this school is not teaching me anything! We and in 6th grade and we are learning addition and multiplication which i learned it kindergarten and 3rd grade then i got moved up to 7th grade math and i am learning fractions which i learned in 5th grade.

Go there if you dont want to learn... We had to do a review of what we learned last year in MAY! And the principal is not someone you can trust. A kid bit another kid and the recess teacher just said dont do that! And the same kid choked another kid and only got a brief talking to. A kid spits on girls and disrupts the class and the teachers dont handle anything except getting on the kids about learning self control! And they just say that bullying isnt good over and over again and I got picked on the same kid for half of the year for being afraid of germs! And please dont get me started on having ten minutes to eat! And If your child is going into the 4th grade remember that there is a teacher who calls work that your child does Junk. She makes the kids afraid of turning in their work because if its Too early She yells at them. My homework took me 3 hours each night because I was scared if she would pick on me about it. And on a test I got every problem wrong except the hardest one and she put me in lower math group. And in math class I asked for some help on a problem but she refused to help me because everyone else didnt need help. And my mom tried to talk to the principal about this and she just said Okay I will look into it And nothing changed! Horrible school!
