Been going here for 6 total years and BOY have I got a lot to say. First off the teachers pick and choose favorites and make it VERY clear. The education is somewhat decent but the experience is a ROLLER COASTER, it is quite fun I have to admit and good preparation for high school. I would recommend this school if your in the area because it’s a pain to sign up for private school and drive 30 minutes a day. Though it’s not the best school it’s certainly not the worst.

I think Chester Academy is a pretty decent school. Some teachers are nice, some I think are not. People say teachers pick favorites, I can see that in some teachers, and not in others. Its hard to really rate this school, because I have seen good things and bad.. I have been here since 2nd grade, so I would personally rate the school 3/5 stars, its not the best school, but its certainly not the worst.

I don’t like school it’s boring

I would say that chester academy is a pretty average grade school. Most of the staff are very talented and host fun activities. Of course, like any pre-k through 8th grade school, your experience will shift from kid based activities to highschool prep. I expect highschool to be a big culture shock. Longer classes, more homework, less tolerance for bad behavior, more buildings, etc. You can expect your typical childlike behavior some days, such as class clowns and show offs. But thatll be the same for any school. Special attention and help is there for those who need it. A lot of cool projects and different hardwares. You have the opportunity to make a lot of friends that may join you through your journey at pinkerton academy

I went here from first to eighth grade. Not a good school to put your child in if you want them to be prepared for what high school is like. Trust me, going from almost no homework to 3 assignments a night is a VERY difficult adjustment. Good luck with this to the incoming freshman.

I liked Chester Academy, since it is a decent place to start school. Although, it is not a school that teaches you important life skills like Pinkerton Academy. The teachers and students are nice for the most part, since Chester is a very nice town with a lot of nice people who live in it. The administration was better when I went there and Mrs. Leahy was the principal and the assistant principal was Mrs. Lacroix. It looks like the administration has gotten worse since I have left. I would recommend trying Chester Academy for a couple of years to see if you like it, but there is a good possibility you may not, so be prepared for anything.

Yes there are favorites being picked. believe it or not. students do not learn important life skills and there are tests after tests, weeks after weeks with little advance notice. i don’t recommend it if you were looking for a school option for your child, if you want your child to go to pinkerton, try another school, i hear they learn important things and things stay in their heads. i have heard many stories about unfairness from different sources.

They try to make it fun but they can not execute ... its disappointing.

Some kids got after school detentions for writing TRUE reviews and were forced to delete them or give 5 stars..most kids left reviews anonymously so they wouldn’t get in trouble which is crazy that they’d have to do that because everything was the truth. The school knows it too. waCK

I told my teacher once that a kid was being bullied and she didnt do nothing, i learned to multiply wrong ( im glad that theres a new program i am aware) and i didnt have enough self confidence there to come out to my classmates and teachers. But i must say most of the teachers are really nice and they try hard, i really liked almost all of my old teachers, they were really funny and nice. There was one time tho when i asked if my teacher got a haircut and he yelled at me for being off topic, we werent even on a topic

Chester Academy is the best school to go to if your children like to have fun. They always make learning like its a fun game, but at the same time their making sure that the kids are ALWAYS on the right track.

I honestly wish I could give 0 stars. Terrible school. Terrible staff. Terrible education. my friends and I have had horrible experiences here such as teacher throwing markers at students, teachers swearing at students, and drug deals between students during school hours. The teachers dont teach well at all. Many teachers pick and choose favorites and make that very clear. I went here for 7 years and moved for eighth grade because i couldnt handle it anymore. The staff loves to act as if they have a great system and care about their students when most of the teachers leave for other schools or try to leave but cant because theres not enough staff. Teachers are miserable and kids are miserable. There were absolutely no new students in the new school year, in fact many were lost. Every student I know from there cannot stand the school and begged their parents to move. Please do not send you child here. I promise you, they will have a horrible experience.

I have met so many of my lifelong friends and have learned so much! They faculty works so hard!

The school is not really great Im in eighth grade now but my siblings went here and did not like and nor do I they try but do not succeed.

The teachers forget to grade stuff all the time and only some of them teach decently, also there is so much bullying goin on and the teachers dont even care

Chester Academy tries hard to make school fun but they just cant do it but I will say that some teachers Ive had have been really nice and funny
