Went to Zest and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and prepared to order. The service can be a little slow so it is better to order ahead. The chef/owner is very committed to making high quality tasty healthy vegan food. Definitely recommend and will be returning soon!

Positives: Zest has delicious and unique raw meals and smoothies. I was feeling in the mood for something fresh and healthy and this hit the spot. I ordered several different dishes and drinks, enough for dinner tonight and brunch and dinner tomorrow. They have a variety of options that are flavorful and filling. They also offer raw culinary courses and Id be interested in trying one in the future.Con: If you order for delivery it may take a long time. I placed an order today at 2:45 p.m. with estimated delivery time between 3:45 and 4:10 p.m. I noticed at 3:30 that my order said completed at 3:15 online. It had not arrived, so I called to make sure that I didnt miss it. I was told they were getting a driver at that moment and it would be on its way shortly. I requested a call when the driver arrived to make sure they could find me as I am up behind a gate. 4:45 rolled around and the food had not yet arrived. I had originally planned to leave my house around 4:30, so called again to check when I could expect the delivery. The chef said that he had sent it out 20-25 minutes earlier and it should arrive very soon. By my calculation, thats 30-40min after my first call. Sometimes things happen, a restaurant is short-staffed, and deliveries are unfortunately delayed. However, a status update when an order leaving was so late would have been appreciated. The food arrived at 4:55.Id order again, but either for dine-in or picking up myself. Im only visiting from out of town actually and noticed on Zests website that they have a shipping option. If they ship to my area, I would try that too as we dont have many raw food options where Im from. They currently have a 3-day meals plan offer for $129.

This is the best raw food vegan place in town! King of the fruit (durian) smoothie is the best. Soo dreamy creamy addicting. We also got the kebab platter and it was very tasty. Yummy eats.

The food was: Fresh & Flavorful! Since my adult son and I decided to have family style lunch, I ordered the triple tacos, spicy burrito... (Hot) but yummy and the club sandwich. Everything is really good! The owner was very personable, I will definitely visit again!

Food was tasty (we got the club sandwich, pesto zoodles, bibimbop (very spicy!!), and the falafel wrap). Service was amazing! Server was very nice and the right amount of attentive. Chef sent us out some complimentary tea at the end of our meal. Very welcoming environment. Would recommend!

Incredible food! Everything is so unique, super healthy, and refreshing. Smoothies are the best. The owner is so nice too! I only wish they were open on Sundays, as thats when I’m always craving their food😊😊

My husband, my 4 year old toddler and I ate here for lunch today, and we were excited we chose Zest. This place does raw vegan right.🥳 The food was amazing. The flavours were on point. The food presentation was an experience in and of itself. We were quite pleased with the amount of food we received. We’re definitely coming back!

Just got this criminally-underpriced falafel sandwich (I’m a tall guy and it dwarfs my hands) made to order, and it was delicious and insanely filling.Chef Mehmet had a smile on their face instantly when I walked through the door. I ordered online, and when the order didn’t come through right away on one of their app services, they gave me some complimentary tea for the wait. You really don’t get fresh ingredients and this level of care and craftsmanship at this price anywhere in the city. Support this place!

I had takeout delivered from Zest for the first time yesterday and the food is heavenly good! Ive been looking for a place that cares about organic ingredients and there is no doubt they are intentional about using fresh, high-quality produce. I ordered an open enchilada for to go and it was so so good! Seriously amazing taste, and very fresh and made to order. I loved the cashew sauce on the enchilada and their own bean sauce as well! Very fresh, light and tasty. The prices are very reasonable too, and a bit cheaper than at RAW (which I like too but they are further from my home). And the owner is quite friendly. A nice addition to the neighborhood!

Best raw vegan food in the world I can say that because I been trying many years to convert my self to eat more vegan plant based living food just founded in Chicago. Fast fresh and organic juices smoothies great salads sandwiches and protein bowls and signature dishes I have tried to many of the item in the menu loved them.all. Chef is great looks like family business. Friendly place I highly recommended.

Exceptional! I don’t follow a vegan diet, but was looking for something healthy and fresh and was really pleased to find ZEST. The soup, salad, and sandwich were well portioned and the flavors were all unique and delicious. The chef apologized it took a little longer to prepare because he said he cuts everything fresh to order - absolutely worth the wait. Highly recommend!

This is my new FAVORITE vegan restaurant.The prices for the raw food is SUCH a great deal.$8 for a sandwich where other places are usually $14.The salad is sooooo good Ive never tasted such good dressing like it.The service is so friendly, kind, and genuinely care. When I asked for suggestions they didnt tell me to get most expensive item, but based their suggestions on my needs.You HAVE TO GO HERE. Itll make you so happy

My friends and I really enjoy Chef Mehmets fresh food! Its truly a unique experience every time! I try to order different things each time and every item on the menu has been delicious and filling. The chefs creativity and commitment to raw cuisine really translates to very scrumptious, nutritious dishes! Each time I visit, I am inspired to eat healthier and to keep adding raw food to my daily diet, and that is an added benefit. I have dined in Mehmets former restaurant years ago and hope that he will continue to serve his community with healthy eats. I also appreciate how friendly and a great host he has proven to be! This place is awesome. I discovered it on UberEats. Just reading through the menu I was very impressed. I’ve ordered 2 times so far and the quality of the food totally blew me away. This is the only google review I’ve written in years, that should tell you how good this place is. Highly recommend.

What a great new spot - so happy to have Zest in the neighborhood! We had the mini mushrooms, Thai spinach salad, falafel wrap, tamales & enchiladas verde - all very flavorful and delicious. Enchiladas verde really blew me away!It was fun to see what the vegan-rendition would be on some of these classic menu items. All fresh ingredients - you can tell the staff takes care of the food they prepare. Would highly recommend Zest, even if youre unfamiliar with vegan cuisine. The chef even threw in a free dessert - carrot cheesecake - the perfect end to a great meal!

Had the Vegan Kimchee and was delighted at the burst of flavor. Im not vegan but I would eat this dish every week. Highly recommend. Will be back to try more.
