WKPOP is an awesome place! I have an extremely introverted daughter who loves to dance and happens to love K-pop. Shes been dancing there about two months now and has just blossomed. This mom is very thankful for this wonderful and safe space for her to learn and share her love of K-pop with girls just like her.

WKPOP is awesome! It’s an incredibly welcoming class, whether you’re there for the love of dance or the love of kpop. The studio itself is great. There’s plenty of free street parking if you turn down California, so it’s very accessible. In the studio, there’s a proper dance floor (don’t wear heels or muddy shoes on the floor) and a big mirrored wall. There is a bathroom in the studio, so you can always change before/after class if you need. There is no water fountain, but Elliot brings water bottles for the class.A word of warning--this is not a zumba class or like a dance exercise class. You learn the actual choreography to kpop songs, so there is a bit more involvement in the learning process. It’s really cool to learn a full song, but it’s a little daunting--especially if you’re new to learning choreographed dance like I was when I started. However, WKPOP has amazing teachers to guide you! The teachers rotate based on which songs are being learned, so you’ll continue see one until a song has finished being taught. They’re honestly all wonderful, so whichever one you meet will give you a fantastic class.Dollie was the first teacher I met. Her history of studying dance is evident in her detailed instructions and structured classes. The way she teaches really instills a dance in my head. Lola was the second teacher I met and is the one I’ve worked with the most often. Along with becoming a dear friend to me, she’s been the instructor who has helped me the most to grow as a dancer. Her passion and commitment to the WKPOP program is inspiring, and her positive energy is infectious. I met Denise last even though she was the teacher that kicked the WKPOP program off. Her classes are always playful and filled with fun.If you’re looking for a new dance class to try or just want to hang out with some fellow kpop fans, you should definitely drop in and check WKPOP out!

WKPOP is an amazing place for women and girls of all ages to come and learn the complete KPOP dancing from start to finish of their favorite kpop dances by their KPOP bias groups. Along with being a perfect place for them to build a strong sisterhood with other kpop fans.
