I went to copy department, they just explaining and they don’t really show in person. Even though If you are doing wrong, they don’t come out and help you out? They just looking at you. So disappointed.

My boyfriend was looking for a ergonomic chair because he has back issues,but we had no experience or any idea of which chair to get. The associates here were very helpful and nice, two stood out, one being Jonathan, he was very patient and knowledgeable with the chairs and helped us to pick the right one, we had to come back a couple of times to get the right one, and each time he was very attentive. He also took time to ring us up and sign us up for a credit card. Another one that was really helpful was an Latino worker in the printing section that helped us with our ups amazon drop off, as well as helping us understand the sizes and costs of printing on certain paper and which ink can transfer and much more, we is knowledgeable as well.

We came here to drop off our shredding papers. Its a self service, but you get a coupon when you sign-up to their newsletter, and get emails too. You can place the big bag on a scale. The clerk can ring it up, and they had 4 large beige cans with locks on the lids, there is a slot so you can push your bills etc. And another company comes in and has a shredder and gives them empty cans. We ran out of printer ink. I bought 2 pen refills. And took some pictures of a white desk and a exercising bike combo. Then the had this other one you sit and petal seen in the info commercials. I was checking out the new flavors of K-Cups Coffee they also carry. And I ran into my other older sister. She was also out and about doing her errands. Next door is a Walgreens Pharmacy. They too had shields up on the checkout registers. Friendly staff helps you get what you need at Staples.

Ive been here a handful of times. Its easy to find what I need and get out quickly. Sometimes its hard to find a variety of an item but overall they have a good selection of products.

I came in wanting to drop off some USPS priority mail boxes. I misunderstood an employee earlier in the day and thought I could pay and send directly from Staples. That wasnt the case. Alex the gentleman who explained this to me was so nice and helpful. He helped me find a work around. He suggested I go online ony phone, pay for labels and send the PDF to the store to print so I could avoid going to the post office all together. He was super patient and offered me a stool while I was getting everything together which I really appreciated being that Im 8 months pregnant. He turned a negative into a positive. The world needs more Alexs.

Following your customers around pretending like you’re looking at items... when you could just shh if they need help (I did) , but then I’ll be returning it because of the horrible treatment from the staff. Don’t treat people like they are doing wrong before you have any evidence that it will happen.

The salesman did his best and helped me find the perfect desk for me. I also purchased the package for the desk to be assembled and Vernard did an awesome job and it did not take him very long.

I made a trip to this store because I have a rewards coupon for $10 off of $10 (I spend a lot at Staples). In order to total $10 I had to buy two of them, but it was buy one get one half off (which wouldnt total $10). Since you cant combine discounts I asked them to charge me full price so i could reach the minimum and use my rewards. The manager said he couldnt do that and refused to override the price, even though I know they can because theyve done it before (and he manages the store!!!). So I took the coupon back from him and said it was a wasted trip. I went to leave and he said you cant do that referring to me taking the coupon from him. He clearly showed his lack of customer service, so I asked for the manager and he said he was. So I asked for his info and he said Ill get it for you but Its going to be on my time. Itll be a while. He very slowly walked to the back of the store and eventually came back. Then he gave me a business card that said Peter even though his name tag said Tony. I filed a complaint with corporate and said that I wouldnt do business with Staples as long as hes managing this store (although Im not even sure if he really is the manager).

Walked I this store wasnt greeted. Employees just standing having personal conversations. Walked in circles for 30 minutes trying to find what I need, nobody offered assistance. I need supplies and Staples need my money but if you cant even acknowledge me Ill spend my money elsewhere.

Very convenient store when you have it around. also good prices compared to a lot of other places. Me and my wife we shop there a lot. And they have very good employees I always get helped to use the machine or copy machine and shopping here is the best way to save you money

Amy from the Print Shop was EXCELLENT to work with. I had to get some extremely important wedding invitations printed and she was thoughtful and considerate and offered suggestions that were very helpful from the beginning! She was patient and printed a couple samples for me so that I could be satisfied with the end product. The price is unbeatable and the invitations are just beautiful.

I usually come here to make color copies. Copy machines are always available and easy to use. Ive printed from my Google Drive folder and from a flash drive; both were easily accessible from the copy machine. I also like their paper cutter; super precise. Although you can only cut one sheet at a time. Overall, pleasant experience.

If you’re thinking about working as a Tech Sales Associate, bad choice. DO NOT WORK AS A TECH SALES ASSOCIATE NOR WITH THE TECH SALE SUPERVISOR AT THAT STAPLES STORE LOCATION - 4610 N. CLARK AVE. THEY ARE THE ONES THAT LOOK BAD TO STAPLE EMPLOYEES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY DESERVE LOTS OF WRITE-UPS. They gave me a write-up for making customers look bad plus they will force you to study and sell all computers and printers to sell in the store. If you get embarrass to the customer and the manager, then you’ll get into a lot of trouble, with write-ups, with them.The customers and the store are good, but only a leader with bad attitudes and bad policy-rules is not. DONT WORK THERE! If I was a manager right now, I would fired those leaders INCLUDING TECH SALES SUPERVISOR with bad policy-rules (who fired me and gave me write-ups before), and replace some good leaders with good rules without punishments in giving them write-ups and suspensions.Enjoy shopping that store, but don’t work at that store!

Clean store but it is no wonder places like this are going out of business. Everything is overpriced. And when I found some things I liked in the clearance section, I take them up to the register and they attempted to charge me at full price. I refused to pay the additional cost and the cashier was clueless as to how to proceed. So you dont want to buy them? he says. No, I did want to buy them for the price that was advertised. Instead I will look elsewhere.

I went to get headphones that was under a warranty. Although there was miscommunication regarding the coverage at another Staples. The manager at this Staples name David handled the situation well.I can appreciate great customer service when it presents itself. Thanks again David for a wonderful experience.

Dont bother using print shop. Went there to get a few things printed, 8.5 x 11 letter size. They directed to a machine that didnt have the ability to what was needed so asked the employees behind counter to be told it would be at least an hour even though only one was doing something. The one I asked was just walking around aimlessly. Ended up going to Lincoln Square Printing on Western and Wilson. They took care of me with no issue and quickly.

This is the best Staples location in the city. They print things quickly and the staff is super nice about working with you on custom print orders. At other locations (looking at you, Canal Street) Ive gotten business cards that were cut off, junky, and printed late. But if I have anything printed at the Clark Street store, they notify me if theres ever a potential issue with my file and help work it out. Its nice to get such attentive and thoughtful service at Staples low prices here, and my nonprofit depends on them! 5 stars for the awesome print center staff here.

Ask a simple question and they’re rude for no reason. Called to see if something was in stock in the past and they didn’t know even with a product number.

I visiting this location every week to print pre-paid mailing label, one or two. Usually I use my card for self service. Unfortunately yesterday I did not have enough money on my card and ask worker (Justin) print for me ONLY ONE copy from my flash-drive. This time workers not was busy and enjoying themself, talking and laughing. I explains that I am on big rush and just not have time to reloaded my card and go try self-printing process this time. Worker (Justin) told me that I will have to wait ONE HOUR!!! He have very very poorly customers service skills. I hope that Staples pay more attention when hired people to work with customers.

I dont know what it is about this place but I always end up spending more time in there than I estimate. I always seem to need assistance to find something there that takes forever to get. The staff is pleasant they just dont seem to get busy often and dont handle it well when they do. Ive given up on trying to print anything there.

Update: 6/12/14They price match Amazon!I have to stay with my two visits to Staples Im a huge fan. Jerry, the tech dude, is awesome and knowledgeable. The best customer service Ive received at any office supply store. The store is clean, well organized and the lighting was solid.

Rating specifically their copy/print center. Have used them to print several things now, the staff is incredibly helpful and the quality is good for the price. They will print out multiple samples and make sure its to your liking before printing out the job. Very quick turn-around and I like how you get an email when its ready to pick up.

If I could give minus 5 stars I would. I just parked in their parking lot, Ive been in the store for 10 minutes and my van was towed in ...... 10 MINUTES.!!!When asked inside they said their parking lot doesnt belong to them. People you are WARNED!!!! Take your business somewhere else, cause that will be one of the most expensive and unplanned shopping experience ........ over $500 in my case.

Lazy, rude, and downright unhelpful staff members who dont appear to care about the job or their customers. Im fairly certain their printers can print borderless, but Im told they cant and suspect its because the clerk doesnt feel like trying to figure it out. Like someone else mentioned, the staff prefers you to use the self-service machines (its hit or miss if theyre in the mood to print for you behind the counter), and yet those machines dont have the functionality to print dual-sided, premium paper, etc etc. If you want anything beyond a standard print, youll need to pre-order online. They seem to be looking to make their services harder, as if to discourage customers. Im happy to oblige, especially when theres a UPS Store right up the street! Smell ya later, Staples.

Good, friendly, customer service! I went there to copy a 9x14 legal document, which, to my surprise they did have the paper & were able to do it! Also if anyone cares to know, this Staples advertises fixing your cracked phone screen which they do but ONLY IPhone & Samsung thats it! They dont do any other brands just those 2.👍

I used the self serve copy center which accepts thumb drives. The associate on duty was very helpful and knowledgeable about use of the machine .

Printer service staff is not helpful. Go to the Office Depot store in Ashland instead.I called ahead to ask about printing services. I was told that you can put your documents on a USB and use the print kiosks.We drove up, and waiting in line for a printer. I plugged my USB in and followed the prompts and the printer froze. I asked for help and was told to use a different printer. I used a different printer and it froze again. The printer staff didn’t help us and instead blamed me for the printer freezing. If the USB setting printer doesn’t work, then the staff shouldn’t tell you that is the only option for printing.

I was looking for printers all over the area on Friday to find the one best suited for my needs. Normally I love staples, but when I went to this location none of the staff members even bothered to greet me or say bye when I left. Super unhelpful and unfriendly staff at this location.

My go to place for office and currently moving supplies. Scored a BOGO on packing boxes for 6 or more! Sweet! 1 star off because checkout took a while after the computer/register crashed and rebooted...

Nothing nice about this store. Employees were pretty rude to me when I tried to clarify few things about printing stations.

This Staples make you do extra work for no reason. Just to print one copy sheet I have to email a document to the copy and print center and then retrieve a cold to go to another section for I can print it by myself. Its supposed to be simple Printing and then making you go through all these obstacles and wait even in a long line to do a simple print job. Also when I noticed I made a spelling era on my document the associate informed me that she cannot do any correction. Even though it was one word. It seems like the staple is very unhelpful when it comes to rush printing and service. I will never go back to the Staples I will stay going to Office Depot where the associates go beyond with their assistance

This store offers terrible customer service. For instance, its staff has proven to be unreliable telephonically. They havent answered phone calls in time, resulting in a waste of my precious time. In addition, the staff members at this store have proven that they are rude, dishonest, and, as such, should be re-trained or even fired, if unwilling to change.

I ordered a toner for a laser printer for one hour pick up. Parking lot is nice to have and the store employees were courteous and professional.

This place gets a lot of bad reviews and I got it, they most likely have a lot of turnover. But I have to say I recently had a HUGE printing job (at least to me) that had to be done after others refused to do it (my paper was laminated, but it said it was meant to be printed in a laser printer). Staples came through. And they did it at what my corporate discount was at the competition was without even mentioning it. Everything was done super fast too. 30-60 mins ( I think I got a call in 15 mins). Love these people (that work there currently).

The staff is very friendly, they have a lot of patience, at least at the copy center. The store has a lot of things for the office, and it looks like every other Staples in the country.

This Staples has the unfortunate luck to be at the end of the Elston shopping area where there just isnt much going on. That said, I never really know if theyre open or not because the lot is always crazy empty looking.On the rare occasion that Ive not found my office supply need fulfilled at Micro Center or Target, or I have something Staples specific to get, Ill visit this store. Its never crowded and the times that Ive been the staff at the registers have been friendly. The store gets 3 stars because it lacks energy or excitement or something... I really do blame it on the location. This Staples hasnt ever let me down, though. I love office supplies so Im sure Ill be back in to try out all of the newest pen models and stock up again on mini notebooks.
