I enjoyed this class very much. Tim and Kevin were great instructors. They take the time to help you figure out the best way to ride and enjoy the experience. Come prepared to learn and leave a safe rider!

My experience at Ride Chicago was a pleasant one! The instructors really take the time to make you comfortably with riding on a bike and will go out of their way to help those who are struggling in class. They are experienced in motorcycling and can answer all of your questions and make it easy for even the most novice rider to be licensing test ready in ten hours. You can’t go wrong coming to this course. My only gripe is the price, it’s a tad steep at $329 (3/2021) along with another $45 to use one of their bikes at the licensing exam. But hey it’s makes it easy for anyone who wants to get legal on a bike. You get your money’s worth that’s for sure.

I’ve always wanted to learn how to ride a motorcycle but was nervous on how to start. A friend recommended Ride Chicago and I am really happy I made the choice to take the basic motorcycle class. The instructors Tim, Kevin and Paco were really attentive, patient and knowledgeable. After the second day I feel like I am in a great position to get my Illinois motorbike license and get on with the journey! I will be taking the intermediate class after I buy my bike. Highly recommended

I had an awesome time taking the 2-day Basic Motorcycle class with Ride Chicago at the Damen site. All of my instructors (Tim, Jay, Ian) were very knowledgeable and gave great advice while going thru each of the riding exercises. They also ran the course at an easier pace and made me feel comfortable. I have definitely gained confidence and solid experience for my future riding career. I highly recommend Ride Chicago! 👍

Easy skill building class. Anyone can learn with them. Been riding for years and learned a few tricks. Class is more difficult than the actual test so passing is a breeze.

I was scared to ride a motorcycle but I’ve wanted to be able to for a long time. Ride Chicago made it easy and comfortable for me to learn and build my confidence. I’ve been taught by friends before but never felt like I actually had it. All the instructors are personable and made riding a lot of fun!

Totally worth the money that you pay for basic motorcycle classes!Instructors are very nice and friendly!They teach you very well! They set up the exercises very organized. If some Instructors see that you are struggling alittle bit they offer free classes for you to learn better!My sunglasses dropped during one of the exercises and one of the Instructors picked it up and saved it for me! That was nice of him!Overall definitely 5 stars!

I joined this course to learn and start riding motorcycles. I had zero motorcycle experience and within 2 days I felt confident enough to be on the streets. Ride Chicago is a great class!

Taking this course, the instructors are very accommodating. They’ve definitely helped with all my unsureness when it comes to riding. Steven, Jay, Natalie, Paco you all are the best. If you have been on the fence on whether to take classes, do it, you won’t regret it.

The instruction was super solid and easy to understand, and really fun to zip around the parking lot learning basic riding skills build good riding habits going forward! I will defiantly come back for a intermediate class as soon as I can!

I had my first class with trainers Natalie and Kevin this morning. They are amazing, both patient and very knowledgeable with years of experience. I am really enjoying this experience, and the knowledge they are proving for my skill set. I would recommend Ride Chicago to anyone with or without Motorcycle experience.

Ill give to these guys there at Ridechicago, they are a serious school. Sincerely, they are safe school for learning to ride a motorcycle. Both my instructors (Steve, Kati)e will teach you what you need to hear but not what you want to hear. But overall the experience was great and had fun.

Tim, Jay, and Ian, were my instructors for the basic riding course and definitely created a positive experience for the class! My knowledge of motorcycle operation has increased and definitely feel more confident after the 2nd day. It feels like a necessary step before deciding to buy and ride a bike in the street. Ill likely return for advanced riding techniques with my own motorcycle in the future.

Kevin and Paco are the best instructors I have come across. Theyre very understandable with maneuvers and technique descriptions/examples. I definitely recommend signing up for their classes!

Kevin & Cody/Tim were excellent instructors - intelligent, informative, &, above all, patient!We had a smaller class and they made sure to pay attention to everyones particular errors and assisted everyone in correcting their technique & safety methods. Theyre even stellar administrators as they confirmed our class completion so quickly afterwards, I was approved for the license exam immediately following the course. They also have a wealth of motorcycle knowledge. Wonderful work guys, thanks again!

If you havent yet please take an actual riding course, its a must to really learn to ride accurately. If you do I recommend Ride Chicago. The instructors are very informative and patient with beginners. Nothing I would change other than the hot sun lol.

Ride Chicago is awesome! They go into extreme detail to make sure riders are going on to the road with the most safety and knowledge possible. Tim is the best trainer by far. This place is fantastic for bike learner because instructor are good and well trained to teach for students. This location is west from the downtown Chicago and you can find parking easily.

If you are thinking about taking a motorcycle class I highly recommend Ride Chicago. Riding experience is not needed. The instructors are great and the class size is not overwhelming. Also, don’t worry about gear, they have everything you will need.

I went to test here and passed with perfect results with thanks to the course material. However, two of the staff members were rude at testing. Tim and a seemingly black/latino male. I also remember them as educators from the offered class. Outside of the actual test, I misunderstood their body language and moved over to the wrong place twice. I apologized for my petty, honest mistake. I thought nothing serious of it. They started calling me a tweaker and continued to joke about me. I smiled and thought they were just teasing me. Until one of them spoke along the lines of, Youre lucky I dont handle the license test results. I can only assume that this implies he wouldve failed me for reasons outside of the actual test. Then he had the audacity to ask for a tip.

The class was great from being to end.The instructors are very knowledgeable and show you all the essentials of riding. I will definitely recommend taking this class if your a new ride or experienced rider.

Ride Chicago is a very good first step in learning how to ride a motorcycle. The instructors are very friendly, fun and helpful. The biggest plus is that the curriculum forces you to learn things that are very boring to practice, but very necessary to safe riding before you get out on the public streets and let loose.

Great training class. In a short time I was able to learn all of the skills needed to pass the state test. Skills were built upon the previous with great mix of on bike and explanation of tactics.

I enjoy the learning techniques they apply during lessons, showing theories of operating a motorcycle and showing while thoroughly explaining the techniques. As well as the practical application of operating a motorcycle and the amount of ride time to practice is phenomenal honestly highly suggest taking the lessons to properly ride.

Nathalie and Kevin are an outstanding instructors duo. Calm, funny, and thorough motorcycle lessons.

I really enjoyed the 2 day motorcycle course and I feel like I learned so much to help prepare me for the M license test. The instructors were super informative, friendly, patient and were constantly giving constructive feedback when I needed it most! I would highly recommend this company if you are in the Chicagoland area. I will probably take a private lesson through them before I schedule my licensing test.

I paid over $300.00 for nothing! I took this class a few months ago. For a beginner I was a little nervous but the main lead instructor didnt exude patience and even asked if I could ride a bike?!. The other instructors were nice. It was only halfway into the class they had me to stop, pulled me over and asked I signup for spring. That instructor was nice about it but its not a class for if youre a complete beginner. I emailed back and no response. Very dissapointed in this place. I will try either fullerton location or Harper where its on 20 bucks.

Was looking for a place to learn to ride a motorcycle, and found this place because of my brother and well it was exactly what i needed reasonably priced, and super informative. They have everything you need to ride even if you have no gear thats fine they have it all you need is a long sleeve shirt, jeans and a pair of ankle covering shoes. They will get you riding in no time and get you prepared to state the state licensing exam. 10/10 would recommend and use again. They also over advanced and private lessons if you so desire

Had the opportunity to take my beginner motorcycle class at Ride Chicago in October of 2020.The instructors were all 11/10 individuals with superhero strength patience that help objectively critique your riding 1 on 1 to help you from forming dangerous habits.I will definitely be signing up for the intermediate class in 2021

Went through the Ride Chicago program and I can honestly say it was the best. I started the class as a beginner with no experience and Jay and Kevin made me feel extremely comfortable and taught me all I needed to know to pass the exam. One of the best classes ever highly recommend.

The school was amazing. The instructors are really cool and take time to ensure you succeed. If you have never been on a bike and want learn, this is the place to go. Plus they have on site testing.

I have taken two courses from Ride Chicago (scooter and motorcycle basics). The instructors are patient and the class is thoughtfully designed. The class can increase confidence for any rider. I plan on taking a refresher course, too. Happy return customer to Ride Chicago!

Highly recommend Ride Chicago. The instructors are funny and nice yet firm and serious when it gets down to business. If its your first time riding or just now getting your M license after a year of riding trials or with a permit you will enjoy the classes they have to offer. You will become a more experienced rider before hitting the road with distracted drivers out to get you.

The team and instructors at Ride Chicago are fun, down to earth, skilled, and patient . I have never been on a motorcycle before and took the basic course; they are able to work with you weather you have no experience, some, or havent riden in years and want to get acclimated. Every part of the course and the state test is broken down into easy to understand and practice exercises. I would highly recommend Ride Chicago !

Brad and Ian were super helpful. I had never ridden a motorcycle or stick shift vehicle and was somewhat intimidated going into it. Very glad I decided to take the class. 10 hours for $300 is well worth it for the time and training you will receive. These guys are great and run a tight ship.

Upon arrival and filling out all required forms, I was given a Suzuki 250 to ride. My instructor, Tim showed me the area and the four tasks that I needed to do for the state examination.I stayed there and drove motorcycle for approximately two hours.Overall, it was a great experience. The state driving examination is next week.We will see how I will do??Thanks you Tim for your valuable time.

Since I was a little girl Ive always wanted to ride a motorcycle on my own after countless rides with my dad. I went into the 2 day beginners course with 0 previous experience (I tried to learn stick once and never made it out of the parking lot).Needless to say, I was concerned. But, all of that fear dissipated when I realized how well thought out the program was and how helpful the trainers were. By the end of the second day everyone in my class was beyond prepared to get their licenses.I learned a lot, had tons of fun, and felt that I found a new passion to pursue.
