This was my one year old daughters first class experience and it met and exceeded my expectations! My daughter has always been a water baby, but now she is obsessed! This girl ALWAYS wants to be in the water. Ms. Kayla was amazing with the babies and as an instructor. Each week was so fun and we definitely saw progress in our little ones swimming skills throughout the session. We can’t wait for the next session!!

My 3 year old loved going to swim lessons at Foss! The teacher was very attentive and kept the kids really safe. She also made things fun! My daughter made a lot of progress in her comfort level with having her face in the water.

Our one year old loves swim class! The instructors are so nice and energetic, really creating a great environment for the kids to learn to swim! There is a big parking lot and changing area so it’s very easy to get in and out. Highly recommend!

I have only recently started classes for my 2yr old but everyone we’ve encountered so far is so polite and welcoming. The facility is clean and everyone is wearing a mask except the toddlers when they are in the water.They have a small retail section inside to purchase your essentials and the clearance rack is my favorite. Reasonably priced items that save you from going to other stores to purchase what you need.

Clean facilities, warm pool, and friendly teachers. This facility is run very well. I was also pleasantly surprised that one of the managers pays special attention to one of my sons who is struggling in the water. Also appreciate that the instructors are wearing masks in the pool to make indoor swimming as safe as an experience as possible.

This school has been great for my 3 and 5 year old daughters. They offer a lot of classes at various times so it’s been easy to schedule. The teachers are very energetic and give you at home activities to help with the learning. Great experience.

I found the Foss swim school a few months ago online while searching for 1 on 1 swim lessons. As soon as I walked in I was welcomed by a very friendly staff that made me feel very welcome. My instructor Hillary is the greatest teacher ever. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and continues to give me the confidence I need to improve my skills. I highly recommend her as well as any other instructor at this location

My grandson enjoyed working with his teacher, the staff is very patient. He was always looking forward to class! It was my first time enrolling him, I wish I could’ve called or gotten more clarity on the levels and what was right for him. He was behind in his class , I would try to get him in a lower level class next.

My son (5) has really enjoyed his swimming lessons here for the past few years and hes gained a lot of confidence in the water. All the teachers and everyone weve interacted with have been super nice. Well definitely continue!

I am very pleased with the swim school I spent a lot of time searching given that it’s the pandemic and I’m very happy that I ended up at this location with my kid’s instructor. He’s funny, energetic, cultivating and he helps not only my kids with all the kids get along well and she is definitely broken some barriers in the water since she started six weeks ago. I would highly recommend the school if you want to get your kids back in the water and learn the methods of swimming. Total thumbs up!

So very happy with Foss Swim. I have a 7 year old and a 3 year old that were afraid of the water. They have taken clases at the Chicago and Glenview Park district and i had not seen any progress. I signed them up at Foss for the 2 week summer camp, 30 mins Mon to Thur and wow what a difference a week has made. The staff is enthusiastic and great at making the kids feel comfortable. I love the idea of daily classes. Wish they had those in the afternoon during the fall. Overall fantastic at what they do. Thank you!

This school is amazing. My instructor was Hannah and she is absolutely the best. My class was on Fridays at 6:15 PM and the drive was 55 minutes to class and I didn’t mind because Hannah made my dreams come true .

We love Foss! Our 3 year old has gone from extreme fear of putting ears in water (after a history of multiple ear infections and ear tubes), to now floating on her back with ears in the water confidently! She looks forward to her swim lessons every week.

Foss has given my toddler the confidence she needs to get in the water and continue to learn. Fabulous kid-focused lessons.

Its been great! They have really great teaching techniques, my daughter has made huge improvements since starting, we are very happy here and will continue signing her up.

Staff is great and the facilities are well equipped! The programs are well organized and our 10 month old son is really enjoying the classes.

FOSS canceled winter classes which is understandable, due to COVID.. However, they did not have private lessons available to all families who had pre-paid. When respectfully asked for a refund, they refused to refund money stating we should have signed up for private lessons while they were available. But there were not lessons available for everyone, the logic makes no sense. They should refund families when classes are canceled- its the respectful and moreover, ethical thing to do.

It is truly a great place to bring your child to learn to swim. Friendly staff and thank you for great service.

We have loved our experience at Foss school in Lakeview. During COVID, we really wanted to find a safe activity our toddler could participate in and swimming fit the bill. The instructors, admin staff, management have all been awesome! The instructors in particular have been enthusiastic, patient, provided a well structured curriculum... and best of all - our daughter loves going - just a little water bug she’s become. We introduced her to the pool at around 6 months... and has been smiles ever since. The dedication to Covid protocols and cleanliness of the facility is unparalleled. I would highly encourage anyone take classes here.

Been going for over a year now..and my kid can swim! Its more than a school, its a great community of good people. Very clean and the teachers are awesome!

Staff is wonderful and caring. They have gone above and beyond for me at times with my kids over the last 4 years weve been going there. My kids love to swim! There are times when they havent wanted to do something in the pool, and the instructors have been so patient and kind to them to give them their time or to get comfortable.

Weve been taking our oldest son here for years. Now our youngest is taking classes as well. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the instructors keep the kids focused and motivated. Theyre excellent at teaching swimmingIve seen them persuade a dozen reluctant, crying children into the water. If a kid swallows a bit of water, they talk them out of the fear and quickly get them back to swimming.Great place. Highly recommend it

Wonderful facility and curriculum. The instructors are fantastic, especially Mister Jason! So happy I decided to do the baby back float classes.

We have been taking our son here for 5 1/2 years as hes completed all the classes and is now in Big 6 to help him learn techniques of competing. We have been pleased with the instructors and cant thank them enough for helping our son become a strong, competent and confident swimmer.

Everyone is so friendly. Weve been going here for a year, and my two year old loves it. Everyone is super friendly. I like that they are fairly structured in lessons, but will also make exceptions to reasonable requests.
