We had been with Patrick for drums for about half a year when the pandemic hit. We easily transitioned to Zoom lessons and it went very well. Hes such a good and caring teacher and the payment structure is so easy. It was the only source of consistency my kid had throughout the pandemic, beyond our own house. Those drum lessons meant more to my kid than Patrick or QCMS may ever know. Thanks.

We absolutely love the classes and instructors for our girls. The staff is profesional, warm and genuinely care about our girls enjoying and learning music. They responded immediately to any questions, explain in detail all financial matters and have adapted to our schedule changes. It feels like home to our daughters. :)

I can not say enough about my experience at Queen City Music. I am an adult learner with the musical experience/background of a baby.😊 Everyone has been amazing. Jim ( my teacher ) is so so positive and kind. Honestly I look back to only a few months ago and surprise myself at what I have learned. I have recommended QSM to my grandkiddos and my son-in-law.

I was blown away! if youre going there just to hopefully teach your kids or yourself to play an instrument and about the fundamentals of music youre going to be in for a pleasant surprise. Our kids take piano, voice and guitar lessons and I take piano. Teachers at this place do more than just teach you music. They ignite a passion for music and it is really refreshing to experience it. I would recommend them to anybody. You wont regret it. Great staff, great energy. Thank you for all you do!

Highly unprofessional experience. I just took their promised free training class and they charged me full $250 for the month. I havent even attended any other classes except the training session. Upon asking, they denied the refund and said, you have to enroll before training and that was the enrollment charge. Stay away from this place.

I highly recommend Queen City Music Studio! We have been part of the studio family for almost 5 years and we look forward to many more. My son takes guitar lessons (acoustic and electric). In addition, my daughter takes voice/piano lessons and has gained a self-confidence that will last a lifetime. Both of my kids have grown in so many ways because of their AMAZING teachers at QCMS and the wonderful experiences they provide. The instructors always have encouraging words and their genuine love of music is contagious. Great music studio! The administration is friendly and very responsive. My daughters saxophone teacher is wonderful! Hes accommodating and kind. He makes the music lesson fun every week. Shes excited for each lesson!

Wonderful studio. My eight year old is in her fourth year of piano with Ms. Maya. My five year old just started. Ms. Maya is patient, kind and diligent. The recitals are a lot of fun and only one hour long which makes them enjoyable. I think this studio has excellent teachers and is run very well as far as the business side.

We had a great experience with our voice and piano teachers here. Ms. Miriam and Mr. Elijah are both such wonderful teachers and have a lot of patience to work with our children. We already recommended this music school to our friends!

This school is great. My son takes guitar lessons here and loves it. His teacher Jerry has really helped him improve. I like how the staff and children are diverse. I highly recommend this school.

I cant write enough positive things about Ms. Johnson and her Queen City Music Studio. My son is a young first time piano player who, like many other kids his age, can get easily distracted and silly. Ms. Johnson is patient and kind, always redirecting his attention to the music and the lesson, encouraging him when he uses correct technique, and praising him when he has mastered a lesson. The result of her excellent teaching skills is that he is eager to practice each day and acquiring new skills quickly. We both look forward to his weekly lessons with her.

Ive been taking lessons at Queen City Music Studio for the last year and have loved it. Its a wonderful feeling, as someone in midlife, to learn an instrument from scratch and experience nothing but encouragement from my teacher. I make a ton of mistakes but have made great progress with Miriams help. She is a terrific teacher, and very supportive.

I have been searching for a studio to take voice lessons and I came across QCMS, I looked over the website and it seemed decent, it had very good reviews, so I booked a free voice trial to see if I liked it or not. I talked to a woman on the phone who confirmed the date and time and then sent me a email that said one of the instructors confirmed the time and date. I arrived 5 minutes before the scheduled time and then waited 20 minutes after my scheduled time and was never seen by an instructor. I live an hour away from Cincinnati. They not only wasted my time but they wasted my money too.

Awesome professional staff . I highly recommend this studio. They know what they are doing! I will recomend this studio to anyone.

This music studio is absolutely amazing. I cannot believe how fast i have learned and how polite and well rounded the teachers are. I was told learning an instrument as an adult would be extremely hard and QCMS has proven that this is not the case. Hoping to learn from QCMS for a long time.

My son has been getting piano lessons at QCMS and he loves it! Mr. Elijah is great with my very active son and is able to get on his level, get him engaged and still complete the lesson. QCMS is wonderful!! We have thoroughly enjoyed our piano lessons there with Ms. Miriam Cantwell. There are a lot of different learning opportunities for children and adults in the city and we found this school to be very personable and teachers are highly experienced and passionate. We love every minute at QCMS!

Queen City Musis Studio has definitely gotten my daughter to the next level with her cello playing.

With a few gradeschool years of percussion and almost zero recollection of that experience, I came to Mrs. Rybinska-Johnson a few months ago with a rather steep task. She was to teach violin to a stubborn 27 year old without a lick of musical savvy. Im still as stubborn as when I began, but her patience seems to grow exponentially. Shes been greatly accommodating to my schedule and even more so to my pace.

My daughters enjoy every violin and piano lesson they attend!

However, his teacher was able to made his guitar lessons so much fun that he actually enjoys to practice at home now. I have been taking my teenage daughters for Voice and Guitar lessons to QCMS for some time now and they both love attending their music lesson at QCMS! The instructors are so nice, passionate about what they do and very motivating. The atmosphere at QCMS is wonderful and my girls are making great progress but at the same they have a great time learning to sing and play guitar. I have always wanted to have my daughters pursue their music education and I cannot think of a better place than QCMS. The Schools Director, Mrs. Johnson, is such a kind, passionate and motivated music educator and she definitely does a great job choosing her instructors. Id recommend this music school to anyone looking for quality and fun music education for their children in Cincinnati area.

Im currently taking lessons as an adult beginning to learn the violin, which are taught by Dobroslawa Rybinska-Johnson, the owner and operator of QCMS, and I love them! Shes an attentive teacher, I truly feel like each lesson is tailored to my needs, and my progress is well-marked. Professionally Ive had excellent experiences with QCMS, and personally I have a great time every week. I have a mad schedule as well, and date conflicts are always resolved with grace and alacrity, which is an enormous plus. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for a quality music education Id definitely recommend QCMS. The business owner D. Johnson is very passionate about teaching and managing the Studio. I was lucky to enroll in piano lessons with her and my son is taking guitar lessons at QCMS. We both really enjoy our lessons very much! I in particular enjoy my lessons with D. Johnson as she is not only a great teacher with enormous amount of knowledge but also a very warm and interesting person. I know that QCMS offers lessons in many instruments and voice too. I am considering to take some voice lessons at some point at QCMS for sure. I bet Mrs. Johnson does a great deal finding the right teachers for her Studio. She always says how important it is to find a great educator and match each student with the right teacher. That is what makes QCMS stand out from other private music studios/schools. My son and I took music lessons in other places in past. We found QCMS to have the best approach. Their lessons are definitely the most personable and individualized to each student. Great place!
