Alena is an amazing piano teacher. She comes to our home and makes learning so exciting for our 6 year old son that he is counting days till she comes again. She is very sweet, patient, professional and experienced. My son gains confidence steadily from her encouragements and her distinct technique keeps my son focused, which is very hard at this age. We are so lucky to have found her and are so thankful that our son gets to learn in the comfort of our home. We highly recommend Alena!

Alena has been teaching my son (now 14) since he was 5. At each age she kept him interested by meeting him at his level, encouraging him to challenge himself, but keeping it fun. When he started lessons at 5, he was hyperactive with little or no ability to focus. But she has had incredible patience with him. It is because of her teaching style that he has kept with it. She has helped him pick new music to work on that suits his evolving tastes but also continues to challenge him. As his interests blossomed into music composition she helped him develop his own compositions and allowed him to incorporate those into his recitals. She has helped him develop into a skilled piano player but more importantly a musician who will likely continue his musical journey throughout his life. I recommend her highly as a teacher to piano players at all levels.
