Vera is a wonderful instructor! She has a deep base of knowledge to pull from which is incredibly helpful and is straight-forward with her feedback and truly wants to see you succeed.Ive learned so much from her in my short time taking vocal lessons with her, and always look forward to our next lesson, as I know Ill take away a lot of useful information to help further the use of my voice in pursuit of joining a band. She not only provides a great foundation, but gives you real-world knowledge, which has proven to be particularly useful for my situation of being an aspiring vocalist, looking to sing live.

I have just completed my first year of lessons with Vera and I must say that I am completely pleased with her instruction, her guidance, and her ability to teach each student individually. When I first started taking lessons with her she knew immediately what I needed to do to improve my voice and she gently guided me in the right song selection for my voice and that would boost my confidence in singing. She is truly teacher of music and voice. I have also participated and assisted with her student concerts and I am so very impressed with all of her students. Their improvement from one concert to the next is very noticeable and that is true testament of Veras teaching. I moved from voice lessons to piano lessons and I continue to be impressed with Veras ability to notice when your confidence is fading and move you in a direction that allows you to be successful and renew your confidence. I cant say enough good things about Vera. She is truly an excellent teacher with an amazing spirit and a beautiful friend. Although I took classes with other people, I never took a lesson until I went to Veras Music Academy!

Our 10 year old daughter has been taking voice lessons with Vera for the last 7 months. She is a fabulous teacher and our daughter has grown tremendously. She helped her write and compose her 1st original song! We had other teachers but none like Vera. She has a gift for allowing each student to follow his or her own creative longing. She does not put anyone in a box which ultimately leads to her students doing what they love and following their own inner passion.

I am an adult who has had 4 lessons with Vera. I was taking lessons prior, from a teacher who taught in the classical manner. I was looking for a different approach. I told Vera what and how I would like to learn, and she has embraced this in a very positive way. I am enjoying this fresh approach from Vera.

Vera is talented muscian and teacher. Vera works really hard to build her students music skills in an enjoyable way. My daughter has grown both as a singer and piano player through her studies with Vera.

I had years of piano lessons in high school but could never just sit down and play a piece well without practicing it for many hours. I hadnt had much training in music theory. After only 3 lessons from Vera I had a major realization about chords that resulted in me being able to Google the chords in a song and play it on the piano WITHOUT SHEET MUSIC! She had discovered what I didnt know, filled in the data, and gave me complete creativity ability.. She is a good teacher and a talented musician as well. Her studio is beautiful and distraction free. Ive enjoyed her instruction very much.

I have been taking Voice lessons with Vera for 3 months now and I love how i sound now. She has helped and is helping, prepare me for performing. She has recorded 2 tracks with me so far and I really enjoy her classes. She is an amazing person with such a beautiful personality.

In one word. Amazing! Music and I have had a love/hate relationship for years. I have wanted to be an amazing singer and pianist for years. I would try and fail. Vera has helped me sort through my confusions. She has the ability to make music simple and easy to understand. Not only do I feel a renewed excitement for music, but certainty that I will succeed.

My daughter is a pupil at Vera Music Academy and she loves it. I noted a dramatic improvement in her voice and she feels more confident on stage. Vera is honest and encourages her to do her best. Classical was a challenge but with Veras encouragement my daughter was willing to try new genres.

Vera is an amazing vocal coach wow. But, the great thing is that she is so much more. She is a professional musician who really understands what makes a song work. She has helped me soooo much with sonrgwrtitng, song structure, etc. I would drive two hours to see her but, she is right around the corner. A true gem.
