I worked here in the elementary cafeteria with my wife and our company (Sodexo) would send low quality food which our supervisor (Susan) would let go bad before serving. The other cafeteria workers rarely wash their hands, theres cross contamination between gluten and gluten free items, and food was often cooked incorrectly, going out under the safe temp of 160°. When we went to the school about it after being told to serve turkey that smelled strongly of decay, Sodexo harassed us until we were forced to leave. I wouldnt eat the school lunches until theyve done a full food safety check as the food will make your children sick

My post is based on the elementary cafeteria (HS side is in control of Marinda and she is amazing caring for her side! Thanks for hitting standards). From first hand experience WORKING in the elementary side from day one I can say that it is disgusting and the people in charge want to hide this fact. Sodexo doesnt care about serving your kids bad food: molding bread and fruit, ham meat that is frozen and thawed numerous times and smells like fish, rinsing food in the chemicals sink, allowing food your kids are gonna eat in a hot box full of rotting and molding food, not cooking food up to proper temperature, not switching gloves between gluten and gluten free sandwiches, and MORE. My husband and I tried speaking up about helping them fix their inventory issues and tackle the bad food issue. IT WOULDVE BEEN EASY AND WE WERE WILLING TO TAKE ON THE BURDEN. They wanted to shut us up instead and pretend we attacked their character. As kids health and lives are on the line I will NOT BUDGE. Parents, please make sure the cafeterias are properly food safe and have been checked by food/safety inspectors recently or have your kids bring their own food. Only 2 months we worked there and they didnt want to change ANYTHING we suggested.Also...some of the high star reviews are from the teachers...make sure you are reading reviews from those using this service and NOT supposed to be providing this service. Very deceiving. Fix the problems and your 5 stars will naturally come to you.

My poor son kept being held in detention because they gave him insane amounts of homework! And other parents were telling their children to avoid my son because we are not the diehard evangelical Christians the majority of the people here are! Not everyone here is awful, but there definitely are a few bad ones.

TCA is Classical Education at its finest. The curriculum focuses on fine literature and character education. The math program is challenging, and the phonics method is an oldie but goodie. The teachers are highly skilled, educated, and caring. If you want a school you can trust to educate your children in logic, critical thinking, and Western Civilization, TCA is the place for your family.

This a great school to go to because you will always have people helping you out there and if you are in need of help. They have a great relationship built with the community. Even though there are some bad sides to this school it also has a great side to it to. This schools sports are good and work extra hard to put there best in every game. I am now a freshman and have been going to TCA since kindergarten. There is so much more to say about this school. GO TITANS!!!!

TCA is completely negligent to kids aside from academics. My KINDERGARTENER was bullied for the whole year regardless of how many times we spoke to the teacher. We withdrew our LO and can’t recommend this school to anyone.

They value their good education over the well-being of the students. If you go here you’ll be incredibly smart and incredibly depressed.

I find some of these reviews hilarious... if you don’t like, “right wing” your words not mine... why send your children here?We love this school, it is preparing our children well for college and they are getting an unfiltered education not distilled by the PC culture currently rampant in our society. The STEM courses here are second to none, and the fine arts and humanities offer a balanced curriculum that complement the sciences. Be ready to be challenged by your children’s well formed and educated opinions around the dinner table!

The foods not great, but the service is phenomenal! Ask for James as your server. Careful of the manager! He’ll kick you out for a couple days every once in a while if you’re bad. I recommend the cheesy bread sticks! If you happen to stop by tell them Quinn sent you by!

Food took a while to come out - bread got soggy and the meat was undercooked. Friendly atmosphere though. Might give it another shot

This is a wonderful school. However it is not for the faint of heart. The curriculum is very hard, and the school does not receive as much funding as the others ( this means there are less specialized classes, like intro to engineering). Despite this, this school stands out. The teachers are AMAZING! (With their low pay, it is almost guaranteed that they actually care a TON about their students). Nevertheless this is still a high school, some people just wont like it; please keep that in mind when you read the one star reviews. There are SO many GREAT teachers here! Just to name a few: Mr. Brunk, Mr. Lahn, Mr. Smith, Mr. D, Mrs. Johnson, Mr. Mueh, Mrs. DAgnese, Et Cetera. (Seriously, I could go on).

I got a detention for saying “balls” and got threatened with suspension because I kept forgetting my pencil. The dress code is sexist and teachers care more about kids leaving their shirts untucked than physical bullying and drug use.
