I loved all my four years of high school at walnut ridge. Just thinking about it brings back memorys.

They have one of the best teacher and coaches in the world. I love the school

Walnut ridge high school is one of the worst schools imo. There was no heat in the buildings during winter and no air conditioning in the summer. The only place that had heat/cooling when needed was the office or library ( of course because the parents visit these parts of the school). The classes are freezing and you might get wrote up for wearing a jacket even some of the teachers have to wear a jacket sometimes in class. In the summer there was not enough bottled water to go around after running in the hot sun and of course no cool air. Also there are drugs in the school and some of the teachers dont show up so its hard to keep a steady pace with whats going on in class, it switches up too much too often. I feel like not enough is being said/done about the school, its almost seems like an experiment on the students to see how long they will tolerate or what they will do in that type of environment. Also the food is no good makes you sick most of the time.

School is terrible dont go here you have no independence, no air condioning , no fun events , the principal doesnt know what hes doing , no heating , nasty food , bad teaching dont come

I attended walnut ridge bàçk in the 1980s and it wàs the best 4 yeàrs thàt i ever had. Class of 1989. The memories that I will never forget

The staff is the best . Its my school and I know that its a good school.Stop critics please.

I attended Ridge for all four years yes we have ups and downs like all high schools but you will not find a high school with faculty better then this one with the stereotypes facing young black men and the area where the school is located the teachers took that in and still gave 100% focus and help to the students regardless if the students wanted it or not i remember missing days of school only to get calls from my teachers telling me to get up and get here now lol they were more then just teachers of education they helped with life situations and troubles Walnut Ridge is a great school with caring and loving faculty which has made a great transformation in my four years there and I am proud of the faculty and Mr.Walker and im proud to call myself a Scot Alumni.Mr.Murphy Mrs.Jeffries/Soell Ms.Heidiman Ms.Drone Mr.Daniels Mr.Skiles Thank You All For The Help The Patience and The Tolerance to deal with me for four years lol

I love ridge I went there my 9th and 10th grade year 2012-2014

Gang gangits a cool place8/10 ratingfood low-key sucksi had the worst corn dogs herewhere was the ketchup lmaobad times

The school this year we have had problems they messed up on her IEP. And now shes playing catch-up and the school just isnt compatible with her this year

The kids r the worst and the teachers have no control over their class or the students and whats bad is the fights security is never around most of the time to break them up
