Our 4 year old has been here for a month and has reflected tremendous change in his behavior and skills compared to attending a good daycare. we are amazed by his developments and happy that we made the decision to move our kid to this Montessori. The teacher Miss Lauren and Jenna are awesome. the staff is very accommodating and responsive. Would strongly recommend.

We were really glad we send our kid to Villa Montessori school. They follow Montessori program there and my kid was encouraged to explore more and learn a lot. Teachers were always keen on listening to parents and communicating about progress and also very caring. The environment is very clean. I would recommend Villa to my friends. My kids had a wonderful time there.

My husband and I love sending our daughter here! I really love that starting with infants, they teach the Montessori method. She started in the infant classroom and has now moved up to the young toddler room and loves it. All of the teachers we have interacted with are amazing: Ms. Shakera, Ms. Malaysia, Ms. Olivia, Ms. G, Ms. Lisa, Ms. Precious and of course Tamye and Jessica are so friendly and helpful too.Its amazing to see at 14 months how she already understands when to put her shoes and coat on to leave in the morning, when I say time to eat she runs to her highchair, and she even cleans up her tray with a baby wipe after eating. Every morning now she runs to the door so she can go to daycare and we know shes in amazing hands.Only con is the app is a bit delayed with reports and pictures, but Im never worried as her behavior proves she has a great time and the teachers always fill us in when we pick her up too.Overall, we cant say enough how glad we are that our daughter goes to VMP!

My oldest child began at Villa Montessori over 3 years ago. He had the pleasure of learning from Ms. Indra from preschool to Kindergarten, along with Ms. Dominique. I cannot say enough about the skills he learned from Ms. Indra or the caring environment he was able to experience.Shortly after our oldest started, the school opened to toddlers and we began our youngest who has benefited from transitions from the toddler room to Pre-Primary with Ms. Janani and Ms. G to the Primary room with Ms. Jenna and Ms. Lauren. Every single one of these teachers genuinely cares about my daughter and her education. She is building the foundations that she will need for kindergarten next year and Im so pleased that she will be able to continue her Montessori learning on her days off from Kindergarten at public school. This is an amazing school and an amazing value as it compares to the cost of an average daycare with a the benefits of a Montessori education.

Pros: Clean environment, doesnt smell like diapers when you walk in. Friendly staff (I really love Ms. Nicole, Ms. G, and Nafisa). Improved, consistent communication with parents face to face and via their online platform. I really do feel like they care about my child, and I can tell my toddler is learning a lot here. They started a Parents Night Out last month for $25.Cons: High staff turnover *(edit: in the first toddler room), possibly because they dont give them health benefits*(edit: this was a comment I heard from multiple teachers who have since left the school for another job). Not a lot of events for parents, they used to do breakfast on the go but they have not done this in a few months. Lack of staff training for documentation and the curriculum (although this is getting better and after bringing it up to the director, Ms Tammy). There has been a lack of letting parents know about the weeks goals (skills, themes, etc.).Last notes: I wish Tim would greet the parents when we walk in. Most of the time he is on the laptop but a quick hi would be appreciated. I also wish they would highlight their teachers around the school. Many of them are working hard and love our kids, so they need some appreciation shown to them too.

We are enjoy sending our children to Montessori. Villa teachers are so kind and caring they teach our children many things. Our daughter does do math better than friends in our neighborhood and is why we refer families to this Montessori. We love Villa School.

I have three children in this school.I like the close-knit team of staff and the fact that the director and her deputy are not shying away from helping out in the classrooms and communicating informally with parents and children. Everyone is very warm, welcoming and approachable. The premises are great. Big, well equipped, plenty of natural daylight, nice outdoors area.As far as I can see, the school does follow the Montessori program (some schools just pretend to). I can see progress and notice a lot of new things my daughter learns.Teachers are caring and attentive. My kids settled it pretty much from day one, which really shocked me in a nice way. My daughter LOVES her teacher Ms Indra. The toddler group teachers are also incredible - I am looking forward to the boys telling me who their favorite is ;)Reporting could be more detailed and specific. I love the photos - they get added regularly to each childs album. The only downside for me is feeding - I would prefer healthy fresh lunches to be provided - it would be such a relief for busy parents.

Villa Montessori is a very nurturing environment for our daughter. She is challenged and cared for by the teaching staff and administration. They follow the Montessori teaching method . The director is always open to listening to suggestions/talking to parents. We have seen minimal turnover at the school in our two years attending.

We love Villa Montessori! Our child has attended this school since Oct. 2018. Admittedly it was a rocky first couple of weeks with the previous assistant director.. but since then it has been smooth sailing. Besides that period of time we have only positive things to say about the school, classmates, location, education, compassion, and attention given. Our child looks forward to school and often hates that they have to leave!Ms Lauren, Ms Jenna, Ms Nicole, Ms Jessica, & Ms Tammy are all terrific! Truthfully ALL of the staff has been awesome - these are just the teachers/staff we interact with daily. The only con I can think of is the communication application used. I can’t speak for how it’s used with infants but seems to be updated with irregularity. I’ve been told it’s difficult for all of the staff be on the WiFi/uploading so it often gets done at odd hours. This would only be a concern for me if I were looking for real time updates. We are planning to remain at this school until Kindergarten and are happy to know we could stay for that school year if we choose to! It will be a sad day when it’s time to close this chapter for several reasons! ❤️

Our family relocated to the Columbus area last July with our one-year old daughter. One of the first things we did after getting settled in was to look for quality childcare for her. The LONG search was worth it because we found Villa. They have been absolutely amazing for us, and most importantly for our daughter; it has blown my mind how well she has responded to the Montessori method.First of all, they are tackling something that NONE of the other Montessori schools in the Columbus are doing, starting the curriculum with infants and toddlers! When I arrive to drop my daughter off at school, she is so excited to get in that saying goodbye to me is almost an afterthought. From my observations of her class, I can see how well she responds to the way Montessori is taught in her class. Its obviously at a very introductory level for her age, but the respect and independence she is given is exactly what she needs at this phase of her life. I have no doubt that she is a more intelligent, confident, and respectful person as a direct result of her teachers; Ms. Veronica initially, and now Ms. Victoria and Ms. G.On top of how great the school and the teaching staff have been for my daughters development, the schools director, Tamye, deserves a HUGE thank you! I work at Wright-Patt Credit Union, and being an essential worker means that I have had to work more hours and under more stressful conditions since the COVID-19 pandemic started. She looked at my unique situation and found a way to offer assistance that meant I could keep working to put food on the table and pay our bills. She went above and beyond to find a solution for me. I also know that she worked with the owners to find this solution, which means that at every level from top to bottom this school has its priorities exactly where they need to be.

If you are looking for a place where you drop off your child, forget they exist, aren’t a part in their education, and pick them up with activity reports of 2 words/in accurate diaper changes/in accurate food logs, this is the place for you! Also makes me laugh they have their own staff writing reviews here!!I was so excited to send my son here (not only as a parent but as an educator), and was nothing but disappointed from day 1. I understand people make mistakes but making the same mistakes is not ok. The administration does not communicate with the teachers. While incorrect payment charges were corrected, they should have never happened in the first place. Our registration papers were clearly never reviewed. The “app” they use doesn’t release information until after my son was in bed which is pointless, even after I asked how he napped, it was never the same as what the app said.Perhaps it is a different experience for older children but when my child is 16months old it is their responsibility to communicate/advocate for him as he cannot tell me how he slept, napped, or ate.As my child’s advocate, his very first day there, we toured a new center, and then submitted our withdraw notice. They sure can talk the talk, but they can not walk the walk. Seeing him in a new center with no tear drop offs and pick ups I am reassured a million times over that we made the right decision withdrawing him from this place.

My son is in the older toddler program and I have seen a lot of progress since he has started at Villa Monterssori. I recently had a parent teacher conference with Ms. Cassandra and was very happy with all of the feedback. My child looks forward to going to school and as a parent, I couldn’t be happier about that.

My wife and I could not be happier with Villa Montessori Preschool(VM), especially the infant room. We have been going to VM since our daughter was 14 weeks old and have been with them for 5 months now. The teachers and staff really do care about the kids. You can see it in their interactions and hear it when they speak to them. My daughter smiles at her teachers when we get there in the morning and when she leaves in the afternoon. In addition, the facility is very clean, never smells like diapers ( like other places we toured before picking VM) and the rooms are pretty large for the kids to learn and play in.I agree that the VM app/daily reports are not the best but it lets me know roughly what happened during the day. I usually talk to the teachers directly during pick up anyway, so the app is just a backup. The parents night out was a great idea too! Having a night out while our daughter was with people we trust made it easy for us to enjoy ourselves and not worry. Please have another one!Lastly, thanks to Ms. Shakera, Ms. Malaysia, Ms. Melissa, Ms. Dominique and Ms. Nafisa for the care you give to our kids! You all make Villa Montessori what it is!

My daughter was enrolled for about a year at Villa Montessori. My fiancée and I, who are both educators, were excited to see a place so close to us that appeared to be an authentic Montessori school. If you are looking to send your child to a true Montessori school, we would not recommend Villa. In doing our research we learned because Maria Montessori did not patent her name, anyone may call themselves a Montessori school. Throughout our daughter’s time at the school we observed practices not aligned with the Montessori method. For example, we assumed the center used peaceful practices for conflict resolution as well as positive discipline but our daughter seemed to pick up on a lot of behavior telling my fiancée and I to Go to the blue chair you are in time out! or Do you understand me? You say yes ma’am! These are things she never picked up in our home. When asked about the language my daughter was repeating, we were told we needed to understand the teachers were new to Montessori and the language. My fiancée went in a few times to observe free play on the playground from a window. The teachers were all conversing in a huddle, not facilitating any interaction between children or themselves. Our daughter was seen just wandering by herself kicking mulch. If you do decide to enroll your child in Villa, familiarize yourself with the curriculum and climate of the school and be cautious of communication between the director and yourself. Get all communication with the director in writing. We wanted to switch our daughter from full-time to part-time for the summer in order to save her spot for the fall. After discussing via phone with the owner, she told us it was taken care of. However, we were still charged a month of full-time tuition. When trying to resolve the matter with the school, communication from the owner about the transgression was suddenly scarce. The only real response we received from her was that since we had nothing in writing, there was nothing she could do about the full tuition cost (despite our conversation on the phone). After a year of being at Villa, we were very disappointed in the way it was handled. All things considered, Villa is a place to safely warehouse your child while you work. We would equate this school to be similar to a Goddard in its operations and curriculum. Our daughter did have a good relationship with one of the teachers, Miss. Lisa, which is why we didn’t pull her sooner. However, if you value an authentic Montessori education, look elsewhere.
