I am so excited to be apart of the Ohio Media School. They are setting me up for the future of my dreams. Everyone is very pleasant but the teachers are AMAZING. They are very knowledgeable and are excited to answer any and every question you have. You can and will learn everything media weather you are into sports, fashion, gaming or hard hitting journalism. Being here its not always what you know but WHO you know. I never knew the studio would be my sanctuary. Ohio Media School is now my second home, I was welcomed with open arms and you will be too!

I will definitely recommend OMS to anyone that’s looking to go into audio video and radio . They have the best teachers and they actually care about you as a person they become family and they push you to get your work done. They also work with your work schedule they offer night classes or morning class. I love OMS and everyone in it. I never had a teacher push me and care of me like I had at OMS

The Ohio Media school has been absolutely wonderful with assisting me with a video/audio project for my business. Students/graduates, Cedric and Imani were incredibly professional and added value to my project. I truly appreciated them respecting my time, understanding my vision and helping me complete a first class project. Lee and Jose, being in leadership positions at the school as well as the front desk staff there were amazing as well by supporting them and getting me all connected! I do recommend the school and will certainly use the school again!

Ohio Media Schools - Awesome training!!! If you are SERIOUSLY interested in this school, be assured you are being taught by professionals who have and are currently in the field. The names of the media professional instructors are easily recognized as being some of the best in their field (and from local radio or television shows). Radio and Television Broadcasting is a very serious field; the training you receive will reflect that. If youre not serious about learning, dont bother. They will give you everything you need to succeed in the business. Its a great way to get hands on training to help you succeed.

I told myself I was never going back to school after I graduated from my Special Education program at BGSU in 2013. Eight years later, I found myself standing at the receptionists desk at OMS-Columbus.I have always had a niche for being on air and in front of the camera. Now, I finally had the opportunity. Within days, I was a part of a podcast filmed live and aired via Facebook. I learned how to edit clips for highlights and had the opportunity to be in front of the camera for an intermission report at a local high school hockey game.I never dreamt of the opportunity that was in my backyard.Thank you Ohio Media School for providing a hands on experience that will surely last a lifetime. After two careers and a pandemic, Im certain that being on air is right for me and Ill never have another career again.Come to Ohio Media School, even if youre just curious. See what the buzz is about. You wont be disappointed! Now I call high school football games on the radio with WNKO in Newark via Play by play and Color Commentary. I love it, and this is only the beginning!

I have thoroughly enjoyed this School since I have been here. One instructor and class in particular is a must-have class and that is Phillip Buffords, Interview Preparedness or Ready Class, if you have ever had any challenges with your interviews this is the class that you need to be in. You can have extraordinary skills, but if you dont have the proper technique to win over an interview chances are your skills may not be enough. Take advantage of this highly informative class, it has helped me on so many levels, that I can not express how much of a treasure this will be for you. I hope it will improve your competence in The Art of The Interview, learn lots and have fun !

To be exact. The school changed my life from the start... I found a platform to stand on that nobody can tear down... I graduated head of my entire graduating class due to the instruction that was passed on to me from not only the instructors but the IA team as well... I remember a day I thought I would never go on to further my education until one day something happened to me and I heard a radio commercial that started with WE CHANGE LIVES . It was undeniable that I would at least check out the school....I enrolled and that was it... I am now an instructors Assistant in the day and a Audio Production student at Night... I am able to work on many platforms in the media industry today because of the positive reinforcement and instructors ...

I want to say my experience with the March AM class for network simulation was phenomenal. Not only did I experience working with a professional group of students but the finished product they provided for me blew me away. The level of professionalism along with the detailed video & audio work they created to accompany the marketing campaign to help me raise the visibility of company as I am new to the area blew me away. I would recommend this school and their students to any one needing film & audio production and or a marketing campaign to go along with it. I would highly recommend those who may be interested in attending this school to take a campus tour and see for yourself. There is so much talent in this building and the instructors and students made this experience for me one of a kind.Thank you again to the March AM Network Simulation class for their professionalism and work on my marketing campaign.

Coming to the The Ohio Media School was a great experience in my opinion. Because after graduating from high school I had plans on attending IV Tech Community Collage located in Indianapolis IN started to ways in my collage journey things didnt really go as planed as I made my decision on moving back to Columbus. Once ive made that transition I applied to Columbus State. Got accepted and started my college process once more begin to take a placement test came up a little short on low rating test scores. wasnt able to start until I had took practice classes to get the knowledge I needed to attend. Doing that time period I also worked so it begin to get challenging trying to schedule a time/day that works best. Then I started to reconsider and wait till spring. Things continued to be tough so at that point I found out about OMS on television. I thought me myself its 8 months , hands on learning and I well be able to receive the help in need to make it through. 3 months later I decided to make my decision thats when I being to call the OMS. They set me up with a tour around the school I sat with admissions help in enroll. And from that point forward Ive gained industry based knowledge for my future career nothing about this school in my opinion was false information receive it is hands on and you will gain the experience you need its only based off what you make out of it honesty.

This school do have Sean Anthony as a professor so that is a plus and he is a great teacher for broadcasting, but If you want to be a artist , this not the school for you. This school showed me a recording studio, I was told that we could use the equipment!!!! Then after the Student loan went through,I was told you have to graduate then come back as a recording engineer??? , After I was accepted to this school the students that graduated before us, come back as a teachers aid aka IA,telling me that this is a waste of time if you are not trying to be a radio personality! you can just come up to the school and network with the students that coming out of the building going to the school. So this school have a great structure for radio.Dont let the recruiters tell you just anything. Everyone start in the same program no matter what you want to go to school for. They do have a video course that we spent a week on setting up a tripod to sit a camera on? what this school is teaching you, can be learn for free if you go to youtube and watch a self help video. So the trick to this school is they put you in a crash course then when you graduate then you can come back and pay for the recording engineer or production course, aka the things you really want to do. The school is not the problem, the instructors isnt the problem, The recruiters that give you false information that the problem.I was in school for 3 weeks, they kept telling me to login to my online classes??? There was no classes in my account online for 3 weeks, I told the recruiter that this isnt for me that i want to leave, I have no online course for weeks. She kept telling me its ok the online courses dont matter......+

You do not need to pay $16k to learn what this school teaches. The teachers have great personalities and most have quite some experience in the media game. Majority of the IAs are all past alumnis, this most likely helps with their job placement rate. The administration has/had constant turnover. I went through 3, maybe 4 financial advisers while i was a student. The regional director and campus director are a joke and dont take any responsibility on the constant b.s. and daycare that the school really is. I could have spent my money and put my time to better use. The school wasnt in compliance with ACCS. Admin was back tracking to have reports filled out by teacher. Curriculum was a joke and had to be changed for it to actually to be applied or work for a class or single student. Classes that start with 12 end up with maybe 2-3 students. The school is a joke. I praise the teachers that try hard, but the upper admin john and nancy, also the campus director crystal really lack on professionalism, taking ownership for allowing people to come to classes and those who have not to paid tuition, as well as fire the good administrative that actually keep students enrolled, or engaged in coming. You can just walk into that school at any time. no one will say anything.
