Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Leigh Anne! I was able to schedule a written exam quickly and was provided with all the applicable information.

Passed my test so it is a great place! Kidding aside, the testing space was fine and they have obviously been doing extra cleaning/sanitizing with COVID in full swing. The lady that checked me in was super nice and helpful as well. Restroom available and plenty of drinks if wanted.

I’ve been working with Alpha One to achieve my private pilot certification both with flying lessons as well as ground school. Leigh Ann is amazing at helping me through the information needed as well as scheduling and general help. Stephanie has been a great resource for ground school, managing to put the tachnical info into understandable terms so I can retain what I’m learning. The Certified Instructors are excellent. Jeremy has been a lot of fun to work with lately. I’m flying the Diamond DA-40 and that is an incredible aircraft and it is kept in amazing condition at all times. I feel safe, secure and the experience in the DA is as good as it gets. No doubt this is a first class operation, I highly recommend it.

I had Alpha One Air Service to take my 12 year old twin grandchildren, Seth and Sarah for a flight out of Concord to Salisbury and had the children change seats at Salisbury. It was a wonderful experience for them and they still talk about them flying the airplane. Their instructor could not have been more gracious to them and we have hopes maybe the twins will want to become pilots. They are professional and deliver a high level of customer service . My 16 year old son recentlytested at Alpha One and obtained his UAS certificate. There were a few steps that required attention before the exam date. The staff at AO was readily available and went beyond their obligations to make sure my son had all of the documents he needed to take the exam. They even offered to stay after their normal business hours so my son didn’t have to miss school to take the exam.Well done ! Thank you !

After the recent changes in how the FAA requires exams to be scheduled, I messaged Alpha One and got an almost immediate response to my questions and the process. They even asked for my email so they could just send me a link. I was more than impressed with the level of personal service.

Very good experience. Patient instructors and modern aircraft with glass panels. Much nicer than other schools that use 40 year old planes. Finishing up my private and getting ready to start my instrument. Great place to learn to fly.

Alpha One is awesome! My dad and I have taken flights with them, and I have taken a remote pilot (drone) lesson, as well as the remote pilot test, which I passed (after also studying from a book). Randy, Leigh Anne, and the other people whom Ive met there are stellar people. They make you feel at home at once. The flights and lessons are quite reasonably priced as well. The Diamond (DA20, I believe) is really nice and although my dad likes the traditional display, I like the electronic screens of the aircraft. Randy let me fly for a while myself, and I had nice conversations about photography and more with Leigh Anne. Overall, I have had great experiences there!

All in all a great experience from start to finish. I will without a doubt be a customer for as long as I have ratings to achieve. Received both my private and multi-engine training at Alpha One and am currently completing my Instrument Rating there. Alpha One was very easy to work with while I was working on my pilots license. When I was scheduled to fly, the instructor and aircraft were available and ready. Professional atmosphere and at the same time relaxed. I plan to get my IFR with Alpha One when I am ready.

Alpha One Air Service is an “alpha”! I needed a place to take my FAA RPIC (Remote Pilot in Command) certification test and of the 3 in the area that I tried scheduling my appointment with, Alpha One was ready and accommodating! From registrations, to testing, everyone I came in contact with help put the pressure of testing at ease.
