This was a great experience. Learn how to lash from some amazing teachers. Thereโs not a question they wonโt go out of there way to help you with. Made great friends with the girls in my class. All around it the best decision I ever made for myself. The only thing you will regret is not singing up sooner. ๐
I enjoy that the school is accommodating to people who work. While they only certify for classic sets, they were willing to show me how to make fans for hybrid/volume sets. I felt very comfortable asking questions about my progress and also what to expect when I am done. Milly is very personable and is an open book for any questions. If you are self motivated, this is the school for you. If youre not, then this probably isnt the industry for you.
Really love this school they teach and show you all about lashing and sanitation skills. Thanks Milly!
I am currently a student at learn.lash.repeat and I have had the best experience. Iโve made so many amazing friends. We all help and support one another. Gaby, Mildred, and Nicole are all wonderful instructors. They help you when you ask but they also let you know they wonโt be holding your hand the entire time because that holds you back from being your best. You have to dive in to really know how to lash well. Iโm graduating in about a week and Iโm actually sad to go :( another thing thatโs nice about this school is that they donโt make you finish on a certain date, they understand that we are busy and have jobs outside of school so as long as you get your 320 hours you can graduate when you want. So if youโre looking into eyelash extension licensing schools I highly suggest applying here!
I graduated in July 2021 and had such a good experience here at LLR. I did a hybrid program where the first few weeks are online and the remaining hours are in person. Im an elementary teacher and felt the online homework was doable. I liked how the program is pretty self paced. Milly was and continues to be such a great asset. Choosing LLR was the best decision I made to get my license :)
Choosing this school was one of the best decisions Iโve made for myself. I learned a lot from each one of the instructors. Theyโre always making sure youโre comfortable. If I could suggest a change it would beโฆ GET A NEW SPEAKER ๐ because lord that Alexa thing is so annoying. It never played what WE wanted only what SHE wanted ๐. Okay this is all, keep up the good vibes ๐ and if youโre looking for a school this one is it!โฆ but bring your earbuds just in case they havenโt changed the speaker ๐ ๐
I came here awhile ago with my friend to get our lashes done. We were really excited to get them done during an event and felt lucky we were getting them done for free. Now, we understood that we were getting them done by students who are still learning so we came in with mediocre expectations. Upon arrival, I was greeted by who I assumed was the owner but I guess was the manager or assistant manager? She was very kind and treated us the way customers should be. She directed us to the desk where Gaby, the owner, was to fill out some forms prior to our service. Upon meeting her, I was put off in the fact that she didnโt greet us and had more of โwhat do you wantโ type of front. She didnโt seem busy at all so I couldnโt see the reason why she would come off very non-welcoming and like she didnโt really have the time of day to at least be a fake nice.Anyways, we filled out the forms and waited to be called in. After about ~10 minutes we were called back and lead to a lash table. As I stated previously, we both understood that students were going to do our lashes and that they were free but we did NOT expect to look like we had NO lashes on. There wasnโt really much of a difference for me. We were both there for about 2.5-3 hours. My friend came out and it didnโt even she seem like got hers done...at all. Iโve gotten my lashes done a couple times prior to this visit by a freelancer (who went to school and also has her license) and have never not been satisfied. Both my friendโs and my lashes barely lasted a week... With my previous lash tech, I had more than enough lashes that I didnโt even need a fill til the third or fourth week so I knew my care for them wasnโt the problem. My friend went ahead and booked someone else to redo her lashes literally ~4 days after getting them done here. Thatโs about how long her lashes lasted. Mine lasted maybe a week.Overall, I was satisfied with the customer service from the assistant/manager and my lash tech but not Gaby. I was also not satisfied with service as well, but I did appreciate the time and effort of lash tech (who I tipped because she was so sweet and genuine).
Was able to finish school mostly online during covid. Teachers are there to answer any questions while working at your own pace. Left prepared to take state exams!
Iโm a current student at Learn Lash Repeat Training Academy and I love the program. Iโve learned a lot thus far and Gaby really works with me on whatever I need. I came from NO lash experience what-so-ever and I am over half way through the program and honestly Iโm ready to GO and begin my new business in lashing.
Iโm a current student student and I enjoy coming to this school. Canโt wait to get licensed.
Current student. Love the program. Very understanding & take time to go over any issues you might be having. Including post graduation goals. Communication is key. Both instructors are very well known lash artist & it is a PLEASURE TO BE TAUGHT BY THEM! Love it.
I learned a lot while attending Learn Lash Repeat.Gaby and Christina were awesome instructors!I recommend this school to anyone looking to get licensed in eye lash extensions!
I enjoyed my time at learn lash repeat. Gaby and Christina showed me a lot! If I ever needed help all I had to do was ask and they were always happy to help. Iโm so happy to finally say Iโm a licensed lash artist!!
Thank you for having me this morning. Your Student Instructor did great. She is really good and passionate with Education.. I am super happy for you Gaby. Keep up the great work at your school...... :) with love @misrociio
Class sizes are small so there is a lot of individualized attention for the students. The instructor is super patient and very hands on. She also works with you on payments plans and is very understanding. Best school in Dallas to become licensed for lash extensions.
The passion is real for lashes! I love love love how hands on and informative Learn. Lash.Repeat is i couldnt have picked a better school to get educated and licensed through one of the best decisions I ever made!
Where do I start! This school is A-MAZING! The one on one training you get here is unmatched! Lets face it everyone learns differently and at different paces and that is something Gabby understands! She literally will drop other things to make sure your understanding and confidence is where it needs to be! She is also very HUGE on helping you succeed, not only at school but once you leave!!! Great school if you are interested in becoming your own boss!! Last but definitely not least Christina is absolutely great at encouraging and being patient! Gabby couldnโt have chosen a better person to train along side her!! I can really see this school being one of if not the GREATEST school in the DFW area! I just had to share my experience because when you find something has great as this you just donโt keep it to yourself!!
Completed my 2 month speciality program today and Iโm sooo happy with my experience and friends I met from Learn Lash Repeat. The instructors are very helpful and let you work at your own pace.If youโre thinking about enrolling, you should definitely do it! The school has provided a ton of hands on experience, collaborations/ networking opportunities with The Lash Exchange to further our understanding in this industry.Ignore those negative reviews LolAs with anything, you only get whatever you put in.
I went to this school a few months ago and let me tell you I didnโt learn anything till it was time for the state board test. I promise this was the only time I even got to see Gaby. She is usually in the front on the computer or not there at all. Every once in a while she will come to the back and teach. Maybe once every 2 weeks. We literally just sat there and complained about how our parents or husbandโs were gonna be so mad they had to pay for a school that wasnโt teaching us anything therefore we would have to take so many additional courses. Others about how they were so mad they were paying for the school and having to leave their job early to go sit there and do nothing! I did take a course while i was there with The lash exchange and let me tell you, i learned SO MUCH! She was actually not surprised that we didnโt know much. We also got a discount for going to lash learn repeat Iโm sure she felt bad to charge us the full fee knowing we were already getting screwed over. I had read reviews on here before and thought well thereโs more good then bad reviews iโll just go and not let my mom know what i had read since she was helping me pay. But once i got there and saw people asleep and other just chatting or watching movies it was too late because i had already paid to get in. The place looked off when i toured it but i was just desperate to do something that would make me good and fast money and lashes are a big deal now so why not? But now iโm stuck making no money because i donโt know what to do! None of the clients i have seen come back and when they ask questions i have no idea what to tell them because i didnโt learn this in school and i look so dumb saying โwell they didnโt teach me that in LASH SCHOOLโ. I am not making enough money to take more courses. Ladies i highly recommend to look into an esthetician/cosmetologist school instead. I promise you will thank me later. I wish i wouldโve done it but wanted an easy/fast way out and thought i could be making good fast easy money in just 8 weeks. TDLR changes their regulations all the time. Next year Iโm sure they will require an esthetic license to lash since the industry is growing. Ever heard you get what you pay for? Well this is the perfect definition for it. I never write reviews but as i sit here regretting ever staying there and not talking to someone about the bad review i had read on here or asking around what people had heard about the place i would hate to see anyone waste their hard earned money on a place that is so unprofessional and thereโs so much more i wish i could say that goes on there but i rather not. I have changed my name on here because i am already stressing about money as it is and donโt need to stress about drama now. Other girls in the class said they would go on here and give a bad review too but i guess they got busy with life and donโt want to look back, others have taken so many other courses and well we kept a group text and are always so lost when we have a client.
I recommend this place !!!! Gaby is so understanding communication goes a long way with her. And shes super helpful on anything you need.
I love how you get to learn hands on, Your learning more than just applying eyelash extensions and be done No you learn the proper way to apply them like what tools and Product your suppose to use and how to use them Thereโs different sizes of lashes not just the length but the width and color the curl to the lashes the different styles you learn like natural eye, cat eye, a dramatic look and more that you can learn
I had always been interested in Eyelash Extensions but I wasnโt aware that there was a speciality license until I came across Gabyโs Instagram. I immediately contacted her and began to ask questions. After gathering some info, I began my journey with Gaby working towards an eyelash extension specialty license. I highly recommend this academy especially if you are ready to be your own boss!
My niece received hands on instruction and was happy with her instructor everyday she was there.
Ok so Iโve been a student and I was so over this place by week 3. and I can tell you one thing. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR EDUCATION. all gaby does is stay in the front and work with her clients. only cares when you bring clients to the school. doesnโt even act like an instructor. itโs just do your own thing usually. and itโs so sad that some of us learn from other students instead of our own teacher. i have seen lots of girls go in and out of that school and they all say the same exact thing. the only time gaby talks to you when it comes down to taking the state board because if we donโt pass who does that make look bad?? her duh. and thatโs when she comes out and plays teacher. honestly donโt waste your money. her and christina only come out and play teacher towards the end and act like they care that way you can leave a wonderful review for them.
If youโre looking to enroll Lash classes (and more) THIS is the place to go. There are a few other lash schools in the DFW but LLR is the only place to go especially if youโre needing extended hours. For the school to be fairly new they are constantly working towards improving the quality of your experience here. As a recent graduate and soon to be licensed Lash Extensionist I would definitely recommend LLR to potential students, even though I have graduated I still receive support from the school/instructors which has been extremely helpful.
Gabby is SUPER PATIENT and really helps you understand and implement the skills she teaches! So glad I came here !
Honestly just donโt waste your time or money here.
This place has gone down hill Classes are not what you would expect at all Sit down and do you everyday because the instructor wonโt even look at you
