Within only a few months I can already see a drastic improvement in my acting and how I think about a character. I am excited to see how I continue to grow and learn. Michelle is kind, but she also expects respect and your full attention in her class, which any good teacher would. I highly recommend giving her class a try.

I cannot rave enough about the VALUE of this studios community. Even in just 2 and a half months of working with Michelle, I have learned a tremendous amount. I came to her classes not having attended any training in 10+ years and her guidance has renewed my passion for acting. I love the fact that this is a working actors studio. Michelle is a very caring and loving person but dont let that fool you. She will push you to grow and get better each class. In the short time Ive been at her studio, Ive had multiple light bulbs go off and thats thank to her and the environment she provides. I am learning to get out of my head and just let go. Take my review with a grain of salt, as I haven’t experienced any other actor’s class/studio.That being said, Sherrill Actor’s Studio is wonderful. It is a professional environment where you are taught essential skills from an expert professional in the industry. This is a great place for people of all ages and experience levels. Classes are diverse. We have fun together, but our craft is taken seriously. Almost every moment in class is informational in nature and Michelle always tells it like it is. You can expect honest criticism aimed to make you a better, more well rounded actor and human being. Cannot recommend enough.

Ive been studying under Michelle Sherrill for a little over a year. I audited classes with other studios in the area but this studio felt like home immediately. Not only is Michelle a passionate instructor but she is amazingly intuitive. She has an other-worldly knack for asking you questions about your preparation and character that you never would have thought of yourself. This is really important when you are trying to bring characters to life! The studio focuses on the Meisner technique and Michelle offers great resources and book recommendations on the topic. Classes are once a week and very affordable. We practice audition technique (my favorite day!) memorized on and off camera scenes and then a free day where we can practice anything from sight reading and self-taping to the actual business of marketing yourself as an actor. I HIGHLY recommend you, aspiring actor reading this review, to at least audit a class which is free. The Sherrill Actors Studio was the third studio I audited and just like Goldilocks, it was perfect. :)Also, lots of free parking!

I love attending Sherrill Actors Studio. After attending my first class, I knew this was the place for me. Michelle challenges you and makes you think critically when breaking down scenes. Ive seen the personal growth since Ive been a student here for almost a year. The class environment is great and pricing is affordable for working actors.

Michelle is a fantastic acting coach and the studio classes are a very affordable price. After auditing the class, zoom classes started immediately after. I loved that Michelle offered the zoom acting classes during the pandemic! During that time, we did a lot of audition training & had guest speakers/coaches. Now we are doing half zoom and half in-person acting classes. Overall, I am very impressed by Sherrill Actors Studio.
