This is my sons 2nd year at KIPP. Last year was great! His teacher was always available to answer any of my questions, sent home extra work at my request. The same thing with his current teacher. My issues comes in with the nurse and front office staff. How can a child be enrolled in a school for close to 2 years and JUST now they are demanding his shot records?! I feel like all this should of been checked before my child was even allowed to start school(which it was) I can see a month but 2 years!! Really?! Now I am being told they will not allow my child to come back until they have it. Other issue with them is, I express to them my concerns with my childs reading and they pushed me off until I had to take off and get answers and my child the extra help. I also requested for a weekly report to be sent home with my child each Friday so I may know what his goals were and what I need to focus more on at home and I was told that That was very new to them because parents normally dont want this info Even after having a meeting with the principle nothing has changed. THIS WILL BE MY CHILDS LAST YEAR AT THIS SCHOOL!

Its really a nice educational place i like that its small school an its not to many children that attend an to me its more one on one with each student. I feel they have a better chance to succeed in their goals their trying to accomplish in their individual lives because children are our future.I love the school.😘😘😘😘😘😘😍😍😍😍😇😇😇✌

KIPP has definitely met my needs and beyond for my child. He will be returning this year for the second time around. The staff is AWESOME and the communication with the parents are GREAT. I dont mind making the drive to take my son to school, I know hes in great hands.

I tried to get in contact with my kid teacher I was always giving the run around and told she would reach out to me which never happen.I dont like that the tea her can request to speak with you but the teacher is always too busy for you to request to speak with them its just very frustration when a school doesnt make it easy for the parent and student just themself. I see why it so many negative reviews dont preach one thing but really dont practice what you preach!!!!

They offer a much more personal educational environment for the students. Theyre always available to the students and parents for questions and concerns.

KIPP......I love this school these teachers are very concern about the children there.....I only can say if your child is ready to learn the teacher is ready....if your child is somewhat ready to learn the teacher is ready.....thats what school is for.....to teach and learn........

KIPP staff are amazing children grow in a bully free environment. Bullys exist everywhere but at KIPP they are shut down. Foster parent of over twenty children KIPP shines above the rest.

I think KIPP Destiny Elementary is a great school. They definitely deliver on KIPP’s promises and I feel that my children have grown academically as a result of the hard work and dedication of the KDE staff. Unfortunately, the criticism of KIPP and charter schools in general is true. They fail to meet the needs of special needs students and students with behavior issues. Though they don’t discriminate against them, they also don’t assess or provide services. Overall, I think if your child is mild mannered and well behaved then you will be very pleased and I would strongly recommend KIPP Destiny. If like me, your child has any disabilities emotional or behavior needs then you may find that KIPP is not a good fit for your family.

I use to love kipp for my child but this maybe her last year with all these changes going on and communicating thru all apps to get youre child from school come one now some people might not have a phone/phone maybe off it shouldnt never have to be a hassle to get youre kid/kids from school come on now it was soo much better last year im so not liking this school year..... Teachers barely communicate with the parents you and some certain staff members as well dont communicate back.... And if youre child has a certain disability ex. such dyslexia they wanna section them off from other kids.... I hope this school makes some changes asap as far this app to get youre child from school pretty much everything dealing with apps to communicate smh.... Pretty much got me thinking they dont want to see you in person just get on the app and talk to us. Smh... So sad

Kipp is already a IR school,If you dont know what I R mean, it means that its a failing school and its only been open for one year. bullying free is a lie, 6 grade work look more like 3 and 4 grade work ,I

Had my child here since kindergarten never saw improvement always gave me the runaround on everything always had to go up to the school but never was able to speak with anyone didn’t have any lunch records of the money I was putting towards his balance I would message the teacher never heard back from them he was taking speech therapy kept getting tested and always the same results the system is all wrong here I don’t know why this school is still open.
