Really nice and testing site easy to get to. But a little distraction was a issue with the door open and close. Other than that it was nice.

For state testing: the suite is located in the south building. Tables and chairs are old and need replacing. Ms Charlotte was an amazing exam proctor. We got to our skills test about an hour early. There is a lot of down time between exams though.

Great school, great tutors! I think one should focus more on their ability to impart knowledge which is excellent for me and for the students do less of being or wanting more attention. From every criticism, there could be something to take away and so I also urge the institute to look dispassionately at the comments. Got the best CNA training ever and If I decide on being a Med Ass. I will go back there.

I took my state exam here and had a wonderful proctor who came all the way from Wichita Falls, but as for the center itself I find it to be more than lacking. The room where we took the written exam was small, but we got the test done and that was all fine. As for the skills portion, it’s inside of essentially a supply closet. The state requires that we *actually* perform all aspects of a skill, but they lack certain supplies and aspects, meaning that we still have to “pretend” to do many of the skill requirements - such as providing privacy (no actual curtain), raising/lowering the head of the bed and entire bed itself (it does not move), and having the mannequin laying on the counter because there is no other place to put it - making skills to be done on it difficult with shelves directly above and also unable to properly manipulate with access only to one side as it’s against the wall. Small, cramped space, and supplies are not intuitively placed. Besides all of that, Pearson VUE provides test scores typically within 24 hours of your test, but because their fax machine does not work (and I was made aware that this was an issue had in the past, not just when we tested that day) I do not get to recieve my scores for up to nearly a week now. I tested on a Thursday and Pearson has told me it can take up to four business days (so Wednesday at most), and if I still don’t have a score by then they will have to file a report to figure out why I don’t have my results. We are all very nervous going into this exam, having a working fax machine would alleviate MUCH stress and anxiety that is continued to be had even after the test has been done for days.

This school was so UNPROFESSIONAL. I didnt go here to get my certification just to do my state exam and the older ladies were so rude and so mean. While taking my skills test with my partner their were 2 older ladies in there grading us. As we were performing our skills they would be laughing when we messed up and stare at each other and roll their eyes when we did not do something correctly. They failed me and the other woman. Oh and I forgot to mention the lady at the front desk was so rude to students. Throwing her pen hard onto the desk talking rudely to students telling them where rooms to go to in so much range of anger! Moral of story I will not be returning back to this place with rude people like them. Most of the girls failed cause they made us UNCOMFORTABLE from laughing at us in the background while we were skill testing. Its so unprofessional there and 3 of those woman that work there needs to be fired!

Took my girlfriend here for her CNA exam, over an hour commute and she doesn’t drive. I dropped her off at 9:00am, as the written exam began at 9:30, and the skills exam at 11:30, which actually got DELAYED to 12:30. The skills exam was done by groups of 2, taking about an hour per group. My girlfriend was placed in the 5th and last group to do the skills portion. 3:30pm passes and they’re just about to start the 3rd pair for testing. At this rate she will start her skills exam at around 5:30. They claim everything is auto. organized on computers so they have no control over who is grouped and what order they’re in, and the order cannot be changed , for the “almighty computer” had already spoken... or at least how i envisioned it *pull lever* “The cow goes moo!” *IT HAS SPOKEN* yeesh. Someone who lived close by even offered to exchange spots with her since they were in an earlier group, and wouldn’t mind waiting since they can just go home and wait. They wouldn’t allow them to swap, because again, its all arranged on computers. As it sits it will be around 10 hours of waiting and maybe 3 hours of actual testing once its all over with. Not fun when you’re coming from out of town simply for 3 hours of your time and end up forced to wait for 10hrs. Not efficiently organized. BE PREPARED TO SPEND THE ENTIRETY OF YOUR DAY HERE. She passed at least so i cant be too upset after the fact. Regardless not a great experience.

I GAVE 1 STAR BECAUSE I HAD NO OTHER CHOICE, BUT THIS SCHOOL DOESN’T EVEN DESERVE THAT. THE CLASS I WAS IN WAS SMALL LIKE A CLOSET, THERE WERE A TOTAL OF 9 PEOPLE IN MY CLASS, WE PRETTY MUCH HAD TO CRAME IN THERE NO PERSONALL SPACE WHATS SO EVER. THE CHAIRS ARE WORN, HARD AND SOME WERE EVEN BROKEN, BUT NEVER REMOVED. THE INSTRUCTOR WHO IS THE OWNER OF THE SCHOOL HAS AN ACCENT AND WHEN YOU AS HIM TO REPEAT HIMSELF HE SEEM TO GET UPSET. HE DISLIKES WHEN ANYONE CALLS HIM ON HIS BS. HE IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, HE TALKS ABOUT OTHER STUDENTS IN CLASS WHEN THEY ARE NOT PRESENT. THEN WHEN CONFRONTED HE SAYS HE CAN KICK YOU O OUT OF THE CLASS FOR BEING DISRESPECTFUL FOR CALLING HIM ON HIS MESS. HE SPOKE ABOUT OTHER STUDENTS WHO FLUNKED AND PASSES THE TEST (WHICH WE SHOULD NOT HAVE HEARD ABOUT AT ALL) IN HIS COUNTRY HE MUST WAS SOME SORT OF ROYALTY, HE REALLY HATE BEING QUESTIONED. ONE A FEW TESTS AND HOMEOWORK ASSGINMENTS THAT WERE CORRECTED INCORRECTLY, MARKED MY ANSWERS AS WRONG BUT THEY WERE RIGHT, I ONLY LEARNED THIS BECAUSE OUR CLASS HAD GOTTEN USE TO IT AND WOULD COMPARE ANSWERS AMONGST OURSLEVES ONCE THEY WERE CORRECTED AND RETURNED. WHEN YOU POINT IT OUT, HE SAYS IT DOESN’T MATTER, HE DID CHANGE THE GRADE (IT DID NOT MATTER TO HIME BECAUSE HE FOCUSE WAS THE MONEY). DR EMAUNAL WAS ALWAYS LATE TO CLASS BUT WOULD COMPLAIN THAT STUDENTS WERE IN A RUSH TO LEAVE OR THAT STUDENTS WERE LATE. HIS FRONT OFFICE STAFF IS VERY LAZY AND CONTINUE TO DISTRUB THE CLASS BY COMING AND PULLING HIM OUT… VERY UNORGINZED. HE SPENT SO MUCH TIME TEACHING THINGS THAT WAS NOT ON THE TEST THAT HALF OF MY CLASS IGNORED HIM FULLY AND LITERALLY SAT THERE COUNTING DOWN THE TIME TO GO HOME TO STUDY THE BOOK. HE HAS A CLASS GOING ON RIGHT NOW AND ONE OF THE STUDENTS STATED THAT CLASS START AT 5PM HE DID NOT GET THERE UNTIL 7PM THAT WAS JUST A WEEK AGO SO THAT TELLS ME THINGS HAVEN’T MUCH CHANGED. PLEASE REALLY COMPARE YOUR OPTIONS BEFORE DECIDING TO ATTENDING THIS SCHOOL. I DID PASS SMY TEST AND I AM A MED AID I CAME FROM ANOTHER STATE WHERE I WAS ALSO A MED AID BUT DUE TO TX LAWS BEING DIFFERENT MY CERT DID NOT TRANSFER, SO I HAD TO COME HERE. SOME OF THESE REVIEWS IS FROM PEOPLE WHOM ARE FRIENDS OR FAMILY OF DR EMANUAL , DONT TRUST IT ...DO RESEARCH PLEASE
