I was going to apply to the Recording Radio Film Connection to get experience with photography and cinematography. The whole thing felt like a scam, but I was going to give it a shot. Despite all thats transpired, I agreed to a Saturday morning call. I waited all morning and the guy finally called at almost noon. I started the call saying Im apprehensive, Im spectrum so irritability can be a challenge, and that my mom just passed so Im out of sorts from that. He launched into the typically sales pitch, I broke in while he paused a d started to ask to change the direction of the conversation. While I was trying to help change the course of the conversation, the continued to talk over me . I tried breaking in three more times. On the third, I was forceful enough to break his monologue. I told him that if hes going to talk over me, hes going to have a harder time of convincing me. His response, Who the [Expletive Deleted] do you think you are? Im the head of admissions! And hung up on me.I even called him back to give him a chance to try the conversation again. He said Ill never be a student at his school. He refused and hung up on me.

We had a mini pre-production meeting yesterday. We went over what the shots I wanted and how I could improve my existing ideas. I’m so excited to get out there and shoot this movie.

I’ve never written a screenplay before. But thanks to working closely with my mentor I now know exactly what it takes to finish writing a screenplay. I wouldn’t have wanted to work with anyone else!
