I was attracted old world vision, power, spirituality and harmony Aikido offers. Luckily, I found Sensei Scott Berg 7 years ago to start my Aikido journey. It changed me both physically and spiritually. Scott’s view of the world from his Aikido perspective always amazes me. I have tremendous respect for his art and his method of teaching it as a student and as a friend.

Sensei Berg is not only a phenomenal martial arts instructor, he has helped me become a better person in every facet of my life, through learning to practice Aikido and the concepts embedded within it. He looks after his students like a caring father, and helps us understand our place in the dojo, in our community, and in our life. He does this gracefully and subtly, yet effectively. I notice myself remembering advice given to me during Aikido class that came in handy at my workplace, with my interpersonal relationships, and much more.I cant say enough about Aikido of Alamo, but practicing something where so often I find myself lost for words, seems pretty darn valuable to me. Its a safe, egoless space, where I know I can come to at the end of a long day and see familiar smiling faces and forget about everything but training for the time being. Please, come take a class, we all would love to see you :)

It was a pleasant surprise to find an Aikido Dojo in Danville. This is an awesome club. The dojo has a culture / community that encourages caring for and learning from each other. Scott Berg has done a fantastic job of bringing people together towards one purpose.
