Our family has had a great experience at Montclair. Both of our children have attended Montclair since ECE, so we have been at the school for 8 years! The teachers are dedicated, passionate, and compassionate. There is good energy within and around the culture at the school. There community of parents and staff is wonderful. The administration is creative, focused, and energetic and I would recommend taking a look if you are interested in an innovative and diverse DPS elementary school.

My kindergartener is learning so much. I love her teacher, her classmates, and the community of the school & families. It feels so warm when you walk in, everyone is so positive an welcoming.

My 6th grader & 4th grader have attended Montclair since Kindergarten. I love the diversity at our school and the warm, welcoming feel- my kids love coming to school. The fantastic teachers we’ve had have always kept the students’ best interest a top priority.

It a good school and has good kids i should know i going here Ive been here for four years its a good school and have good student its not the perfect school but its good enough for learning experience and make good friendships they did play I was in it and its awesome its a great no amazing School yeah the parents probably didnt even go here but I do and its a good school

Our daughter started at Montclair in Kindergarten and is now a 9th grader. Our son is currently in 4th grade at Montclair. We choiced both children in and have never regretted that decision for a moment. This is an exceptionally diverse school with a tremendously caring administration and faculty. They are invested in all students success. While providing an outstanding experience including a focus on enrichment, they steadily seek to improve.

Montclair has been my girls home from Kindergarten through Grade 5. The school has wonderful, extremely caring and dedicated teachers and staff. They have done a great job of not only straightforward education, but also of extra-curricular activities with many field trips, projects, and appreciation of arts/music. I struggle to count the amount of friends they have made here; a many BFFs! The school also excels at integration of a varied population at the school; a huge number of countries are represented and it has given the girls a great world view (VERY important that they understand not just our culture, but the cultures of others that do not have their background.)I wont respond directly to some of the other reviewers outside of the fact that EVERY school has its challenges with present day issues of bullying, and even more subtle ways that children misbehave towards each other. Of the VERY few issues that weve had over the years, teachers and staff have dealt with the problems professionally and promptly. Always willing to answer questions, meet with the parties involved, and follow up to insure these things did not occur again.I cannot recommend this school more highly.
