This is my sons first year at Florida Pitt Waller and Im not exactly sure how I feel about this school so far. My son is in first grade and my experience hasnt been exactly pleasant. My son was put on the wrong school bus the 1st week of school, the day after I had a meeting with the principal stating my concerns about school transportation. I informed the principal that its unsafe to not have bus passes for the kids to be identified as the student whom belongs on the school bus. He gave me his word stating, the teachers walk every student to the bus and they assure the students gets on safely. well he kept his word except in my case my child was walked to the wrong bus. The school has been very apologetic since the incident, I guess im unsatisfied still because the school has yet to make bus passes, or any changes to reassure the parents that they care for our children enough to make sure something like my situation doesnt happen again. Furthermore I have a 3year old boy who was some how bumped to the end of the waiting list and not able to attend school this year due to paper work being lost in their system. This school overall has made it hard on me as a parent and its only week 3. I sure hope Florida Pitt Waller gets some type of organization that works for themselves, our children, and parents. This is my childs home school and a very upper class neighbor hood, for that matter the expectations of this school is going to be set very high. On a brighter note my son really loves his sister.

Students were amazing - staff did not put enough emphasis on anti-racism and anti-discrimination practice in my view. The school spirit was there, but unfortunately I feel that the environment could get stifling for the students because their lived experiences were not always the priority. The people were great to get to know, I just hoped for deeper exchange in instances about students and educational philosophy.

Horrible school! If I could give it a 0 I would. Disrespectful staff, principal does not care about anyway you feel. Dont let your kid be out of uniform otherwise they will get a LONER shirt that says just that and will be picked on all day! Not SAFE at all. Children run around all day inside and out. Staff curses at kids and Ive been there to witness it! Told principal about it and he didnt care. Nurse has horrible attitude about being there! These are just a few things I could remember........ Im trying to switch my kids and will do whatever it takes to do so!

I really love Pitt Waller. Im extremely sad that my kids could no longer attend because we moved out of the district. Mr. Babb was awesome and so were the rest of the teachers. My kids were 2nd through 4th grade and each teacher we had was more than willing to help. They were involved, engaged and helped our kids excel. Now that we are at a new school my kids are far beyond their current curriculum which is a blessing and a curse.

I just wanted to say that I am on my way to high school and I feel ready because of this wonderful school... I love all my teachers and they have taught me very well ....Love yhu everybody!!!!!!!!

I remember when I use attend this school.I loved it but there were some inappropriate little boys who made my experience weird but Mr. Babbs was the best and everyone liked me.but sadly I moved.😥

Worst school!!!!! They have a horrible problem with bullying !!! And the staff??? DOES NOTHING !!!!! If i could put 0 stars i would !!! The bullies have no consequences and i thought with change of principal would change, but no they dont do anything!!!!! Staff instead of being all about gossip (at least be discrete about it) get off your lazy ass and deal with the problems!!!!!!
