Have been taking my 7 and 10 year-old here since January and they love it. Due to staffing issues they have had multiple instructors over the past few months, which is not ideal, but all the instructors theyve had are patient (even when my kids are not listening/goofing around) and care about teaching the kids and making sure they are learning life-saving (and fun) techniques. Would definitely recommend.

Our instructor, Haleigh, was so great with our kids and so much fun! We have a really challenging three year old and she was incredibly patient with him and won him over! Our 6 and 8 year old made good progress in a short time with her.

Theyre open and socially distancing. The staff in the water wear face shields.

The staff is very friendly, organized and they clean everything after their customers. If a family leaves, they clean the doors, if a parent gets out of a chair, they clean the chair, etc. My kids love their teacher and they look forward to their lessons every week.

Going back to swim lessons after things starting to reopen, has been great. Safesplash has taken every precaution to keep staff and customers safe. We switched from group to private lessons for extra measure but couldnt be happier with how things are going with reopening

My children have been doing swim classes at SafeSplash for 6 years now. (I have an eight year old and a five year old.) I am very thankful to SafeSplash for helping my children learn how to swim (and swim well), and Im also thankful that my children (of different ages and abilities) can do swim lessons at the same time. Anything that streamlines our life is much appreciated. We have always had great instructors and I love the small class size. Their training methods work great and my kids love their classes. Thank you, SafeSplash!

I like the techniques used to teach kids to swim, very creative. I like that it seems to (in the beginning) be about teaching survivial skills vs. swimming techniques, which was my initial reason for signing my child up for lessons. My original hope for this class was to get to next summer and feel good about taking her to any pool and it still is. However, my daughter has developed a love for these swim lessons to the point that Im seeing her, for the first time, find something she likes and wants to work at. Im not dragging her to class but thinking about how to budget in a second lesson a week because she likes it so much and I really enjoy watching her progress. I see the potential for a passion around this and I believe a lot of that is owed to this SafeSplash and the teachers she has had. The evening schedule allows us to attend lessons as a working family which I really appreciate. Its also provided opportunities in other ways I didnt expect. For example, she didnt pass her first swim test and it was a great chance for us to talk about how thats ok because we see her working at it and and putting in a lot of effort and how we will keep trying until we get it. Its a really great life lesson for a 6 year old (and a grown up for that matter) and its even more rewarding to her/us to finally pass the test and level up. In an age of a tremendous amount of instant gratification we have come across something that shows the value of trying and being patient for results with the added bonus that she finds it fun and doesnt realize shes being taught a deeper lesson than the backstroke. Win, win.

We love coach Andrew. My son loves the warm water, which makes it so much easier to learn. Being able to reschedule a missed class (up to one a month) is a nice customer service feature.

I was given a gift certificate for this place for a month of free swim lessons for my daughter. However, lessons are supposed to be booked online and theres no way to redeem the certificate electronically. I was first told to email them a copy of the gift certificate, then after doing it was told Id have to go in person to one of the locations to have it added to my account. Very disappointing that there is so little customer service - I would recommend people not waste their money here.

My daughters have both been swimming here for 3+ years and they both really enjoy it. I like how the pool is indoor, so year round accessible and is heated. Their instructors have stayed pretty consistent with minimal turnover, but when that happens the replacement has always been very professional and good with kids. Overall I am very happy and satisfied with the operation being run there and the quality of instructors.

Both of our kids love it! My son who is 5 has taken to his teacher so well that he WANTS to go to class and is excelling in swimming now. Even other parents comment on how well he swims. I am surprised to see some of these other bad reviews. We HIGHLY recommend SafeSplash on Colfax.

Super disappointed in the way the staff treats one another as well as customers. Experienced some bullying and when reported to the manager they blew it off. So I guess if you want your kid to learn how to be a bully it’s a 5/5. Will be taking my business elsewhere

Our child enjoyed SafeSplash for several months, at 5 years old hes been in swimming programs since he was two years old and enjoyed the small class sizes they offered. Recently, his instructor decided to use some kind of medieval torture device aka “training board” that is supposed to straighten out kicks. The instructor knew this device might cause pain, we were told after the lesson, which is funny since we were not asked ahead of time if we wanted to traumatically alter my child’s perception of swimming, knowing this they (and again without asking) went ahead and strapped two boards to my kids legs and let him loose to nearly drown. The device caused so much pain that my son refused to go to another lesson, and refused to go near a pool for several weeks.Good luck trying to reach anyone at SafeSplash besides the callous receptionist or the 800 generic call number, no manager, no accountability. They did charge us for the entire month (no refunds for child torture evidently) and even tried to run our card the next month AFTER we pulled him out. Fortunately we had put a block on all charges from SafeSplash- since we never heard back from a manager and suspected that the corporate machine known as SafeSplash would keep on trying to charge away.
