I love the school. My son love training and learning with Mr. Kim and Mrs. Kang. Al ready my son is part of this wonderful community for a year and He will continue to learn and practice with them for another year. Fully recommended. They have run the school perfectly during the pandemic.

My son has had a wonderful experience at this studio. His teachers are masterful at simultaneously maintaining the highest of expectations and also meeting the children at the level at which they are ready to learn and perform. Their personal investment in each and every student is apparent and felt by the kids at each session. They really know and appreciate my son for who he is and provide what he needs to learn - whether that’s within the big group or 1:1 after the class should have ended - and we could not be more grateful. Most importantly, we’ve seen improvement in his confidence and perseverance all while he is truly having fun.

Great place to train! You can feel a very high level of expertise in both instructors. They are awesome and everyone is very welcoming. Taekwondo keeps me fit, gives me self-confidence, mental strength and tools to use if it ever comes to a situation where I need to defend myself. I highly recommend this club to anyone in the area!

Master Kim and Master Kang are a great teaching team! They are kind and compassionate while teaching respect and confidence. My son started right when he turned 4 last year and I’ve seen great improvements! He loves going and most importantly he has fun! He’s so much more confident and proud of himself! My son absolutely loves going to taekwondo.very proud of himself every time he gets a new stripe added onto his belt to prepare for next belt test. I like that they are fairly strict with the kids but with the right amount of fun to stay focused. Also just had my sons birthday party here too and they were fantastic in keeping the kids entertained! The kids loved it. Highly recommend them.

My daughter first tried Kim&Kang Martial Arts for a 2 week trial period. The first time we left she declared This is the place for me! She was right, it has been fantastic. They teach discipline, but make it fun and my daughter often leaves feeling a sense of accomplishment. She has made new friends and it has helped boost her confidence. She takes the confidence and uses it in other areas of her life. My husband and I both appreciate Master Kim and Master Kang for their kindness and dedication, it is enjoyable to take our daughter there and know it works for all of us.

Both Master Kim and Master Kang are great! They are patient, loving and have fun teaching the kids martial arts and building their confidence.My son has gained so much more confidence and listening skills from attending the classes.They have been very receptive with the addition of the COVID-19 situation. Everything is cleaned and sanitized regularly and the students are broken up between the classes to keep social distancing practices in play.We are very happy with Kim & Kang Martial Arts and would recommend it to everyone.

Excellent facility, we absolutely love it here. My son started over 1.5 years ago at only 3.5 years old. Master Kim and Master Kang have helped him tremendously with his focus and confidence. I really feel they helped him find his voice. We will be a part of this family for many years to come.

Master Kim and Kang are excellent with all of the kids. They really enforce great discipline and respect of parents and others. My sons behavior has improved much since he has been attending classes here. Both masters also have a lot of patience with all of the children throughout their learning process. Our daughter started here at three years old almost one year ago and we have loved every bit of our experience. Both Master Kim and Kang have the most patience Ive ever witnessed to be able to control groups of toddlers and/or kids. They really make an impact on our kiddo and the kids in the class. We have seen such a difference in our child at home with respect, at school with respect and confidence, leadership skills at school, etc. She is not shy and is very proud which we love. Masters Kim and Kang have a way to make all the children (and adults) really understand what they should be doing and make it fun! I love seeing all of the kids in class finish with a sense of accomplishment and pride. They earn the privilege to test for their belts, they do not hand them out.Our kid loves going and looks forward to it every other day. Highly recommend for anyone (not just kids)! They are truly worth every $1 and we hope to continue to go to there studio for years to come. We have one more girl who will also be joining as soon as shes old enough. :)

This place is so much more than a martial arts school, what my daughter learns carries over in to all parts of her life and has done wonders for her confidence. Cant say enough great things about Masters Kim and Kang. They are so good with all their students. You can tell they really care and are always asking how your child is doing at home and at school. We are truly blessed to have found this place.

Best of the best!! All 3 of my children have been enrolled for almost a year after trying a few closer to our house. Not only are Master Kim and Kang talented, focused, and disciplined- they truly LOVE children. I drive 30+ minutes EACH WAY from Naperville to attend 2-3 times a week because there is no substitute for the benefits and enjoyment that my children get. At 9,6, and 4, it’s challenging but worth it. HIGHLY recommended.

Bar none, this is the best Tae Kwon Do school in the area.Ive trained just about everywhere and this has been one of my favorites.If you want to learn Tae Kwon Do, this is the place.All Ive ever taken here is the trial, but I can honestly tell you its worth it.

My son has been going to classes for almost a year and they have made him more confident but also more respectful of people and traditions. We love the school and I would recommend it to anyone. The belt system provides my son a goal and a reason to continue to improve. He was so proud of himself when he got his yellow belt. Masters Kim and Kang are very knowledgeable,skillful and helpful. I have been very impressed with Kim and Kang Martial Arts programs. They make it fun but they also teach discipline. We have been with Kim and Kang Martial Arts for about a year and couldn’t be more happier. Our son has not only learned discipline, but is very focused and enjoys all of his classes. Master Kim and Kang do such a great job with kids of all ages. They not only have group classes but take time during each class to work with each kid individually as well. All of the kids really enjoy coming to class.The studio is located next door to our son’s daycare. On class days, Master Kim or Master Kang will come to the daycare and bring the kids to class and bring them back to daycare after the class is over. This is super helpful since my wife and I both have long commutes to work and can’t always be at every class due to our schedules. I would recommend anyone in the Darien/Woodridge/ Downers Grove area to sign their kids up and be a part of this great experience.

Master Kim and Master Kang are wonderful with children. Our son looks forward to every class. Also, our sons confidence has improved greatly.

Kim and Kang Martial Arts, has been amazing for my 7yr old son, that I have even join the audlt classes. It has been one of the best experiences for both me and my son, Not to mention the patience they both have.
