Your childs safety is not a priority at this facility. On 9/1/21, my 1-year old was injured due to the negligence of the staff. They allowed three toddlers to be on a climbing toy meant for one child at a time. Two of them fell on my child and he busted his lip. In video footage, a staff member walks right past them shortly before the accident occurred.We were very disappointed in the initial response from the staff at all levels. Which did not match the gravity of the situation. When I was informed by Ashley Litchfield (Director), I told her I would be there right away. However, when I arrived to speak with her 25min later, she had left. The teachers in the classroom showed little remorse. So, I had to take my child home with inconsistent information on what happened. It was difficult to reach someone in leadership to address our concerns that evening. It wasnt until my husband called to escalate the situation and request a meeting, that we received more details from Ashely & Lynn (Owner). I wont even get into the issues we had with Grant (Owners son) and his unprofessionalism on different occasions. We had to request that an actual accident report be done. Only after we filed a complaint with the regional office was an investigation and additional safety training conducted.Although we already had a few complaints about this facility, imagine the horror of finding a bloody shirt in your childs bag without notice? My son has not returned since that day, and I dont recommend sending your children here. At least Lynn was gracious enough to say we will not financially hold you to our policy of a thirty-day written notice of disenrollment. Are you kidding me?

I wish I could give them more stars! After a crazy debacle with our last daycare this School is a breath of fresh air. I love this place, my son loves coming here! The school is clean and the teachers are all amazing and I never have 1 single concern dropping my son off. 100% reccomend Kids r Kids but especially this particular location to anyone looking!!

We enrolled our son in Kids R Kids RTP about a month ago and it’s been a wonderful experience. They are extremely clean and sanitary. They wipe down counters, sanitize the toys and wash the kid’s hands. It’s not just childcare, it’s a safe nurturing environment for my child to learn and explore. Kids R Kids keeps us involved with newsletters, monthly breakfast/lunch menu, festivals, costume parades, book fairs, etc.The classrooms are sectioned in six month increments to allow for more appropriate age groupings. The student teacher ratio is low, affording my little one more focused care. His teachers are very outgoing, personable and extremely attentive, I can tell by the detailed daily notes they provide upon pick-up each evening. This is also seen through their well laid-out curriculum including games, songs, dancing, art, play and a variety of other teaching methods.My 14-month old is even learning sign language and communicating so much better at home. He can tell me he’s ready to eat and that he wants more! As first time parents we’re very aware that our standards are high and at times unrealistic. However, Kids R Kids RTP has met and even surpassed even our most unreasonable expectations. We can’t sing their praises enough and we’d highly recommend Kids R Kids RTP.

The very worse child care center I have ever worked for. The Owner shows favoritism to older staff members separating older employees and newer employees that creates and atmosphere of division. From the time I did walk in interview a few selected Teachers stated they didn’t like me and didn’t want me to work their. Jealousy from the start. My focus was to come in to do my job. The Director spoke to a few Teachers and made statements that she liked me but a few Teachers had problems with me, this is a Week in. One Teacher sat and looked at my all day to figure out what she could find to have something to report. From the time I came in I was told the center had a high turn over rate within two weeks at least 6 employees quit. What did it for me was I was always asked to fill in as a part time employee and on this particular day. A new child was on his second day and the Lead Teacher stated the day before he was a cry baby and screamed to the top of his lungs just the day before. That he wasn’t held the day before by the Teachers because if he would have been they couldn’t get anything done. At the end of that day I was called in the office and was asked about the little boy. I stated he cried I would try to hold his hand he refused he wanted to be carried around in the class even when you picked him up he still cried so I realized there was no reason to hold him I would show him attention but also wouldn’t neglect other children. The Director stated she saw me showing him attention and dancing with him but also showing other kids attention and that he followed me around like a “puppy” and I didn’t pick him up during those times. The parents complained and I would receive a right up. Although I didn’t agree I couldn’t understand how to you put this on one Teacher and it’s clearly another Teacher in the class that barely interacted with him at all. But I figured she been there for sometime and the blame had to be put on someone. Administration act like the children and kept conflict going. Fights almost accrued because of nasty tone and lack of professionalism. Floating to different classes children weren’t being changed inappropriate amount of times. The cleanliness of the class was little to none. The pipes were busted for a few hours there was no water. Kids played out side used the restroom and sat and ate lunch. The owner didn’t want to loose money and still opened school that day. But as I was told from several of her Teachers that been there for a while while she is about her money. The kids are a dollar sign for her. I never seen her interact with any of the children. I can go on and on but I left happy but very disappointed. I miss the amazing kids and great families and still in touch with a few parents!

My husband and I visited this facility today for a tour for our expecting child. We have gone on several day care tours and this tour by far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we entered we were greeted by warm and enthusiastic smiles and each staff member that saw us spoke and introduced themselves. We met Miss Marsha, the owner (Lynn) as well as the most thorough and pleasant tour given by the program coordinator Miss Moriah. The amenities alone were outstanding for this 5 star center but what really made a difference to us was the level of genuine care of the staff for the children. We havent signed up yet- but we will be back to register our child here and when the day comes for child care to begin, I will be completely confident in my childs care while we are at work.

Kids R kids RTP has been a great place for our 16 month old son. It has provided a structured approach to learning for him. His caring teachers have become part of our extended family. Every week he is learning new words or completing a new task. I feel very confident that they are preparing my son well for kindergarten.

The administrative staff at Kids R Kids RTP is absolutely wonderful. They have always been professional and pleasant. They know the kids and their parents and are very welcoming as you enter and depart the center. The teachers are awesome. They are hard workers and teach in creative ways. You can literally see your childs growth everyday. The teachers that my children have had have been very creative and this is evident in their selective projects and artwork, and displays for special programs for the center. You can really tell that they have put time and thought into what they are working on.Kids R Kids is a family oriented environment, offering multiple family events throughout the year, providing opportunity to further engage with the staff and other parents. The teachers really establish a family feeling in the classroom - my children cannot go home until they have given each of their teachers a hug goodbye. They absolutely love their teachers. The teachers welcome parents into the classroom to bring special projects or teach about their culture. Even the layout of the classroom contributes to the family atmosphere at Kids R Kids. The kids are able to interact with their teaches in the class level above them. THis is beneficial when it is time for children to transition to their next class because the children already know their new teachers and would have seen their future classmates.Kids R Kids has been a wonderful addition to our family, continuing with the nurturing, cultivation and education of our children that we as a family have started.

Kids R Kids RTP has been a huge blessing to our family. Our experiences with the teachers, staff and administration have been excellent! My wife and I spent a lot of time researching pre-school options for our two-year old daughter. After having a nanny in the home for a period of time, we were concerned she would have difficulty adjusting to a classroom environment. Thanks to the wonderful staff and administration at Kids R Kids RTP, she transitioned beautifully into the classroom. Shes making new friends, learning to share with others, engaging in wonderful learning activities, being more descriptive of everything around her and communicating with us more effectively. In fact, one day she came home and counted to 10 in Spanish! My wife and I couldnt believe it. Her teachers are clearly utilizing a curriculum that is producing results. The school is bright, clean and inviting (which is not the case at other facilities weve toured). The ability to log on to watch my daughter in real-time through the Watch Me Grow program is wonderful. The staff is always energetic and happy to see our little one. The activities that are available to her are not only and lot of fun, but also are great learning opportunities. In short, we are more than pleased with Kids R Kids RTP and its just a matter of time before her 8-month old sister joins her! We love it and you will, too!

My daughter currently goes to Kids R Kids RTP and we both love it. The teachers are very informative, as well as the directors who seem to always be around. You never have to wait or search long to find someone to speak to about something important. The classrooms are so clean and organized and I love the concept of the glass between each room so that transitions are less scary. What drew me to this daycare was the option of viewing my child online throughout the day by video. This was an awesome feature that helped relieve some of that first time mommy anxiety. My daughter likes her teachers and though she only goes two days a week she is always asking can I go daycare and play with friends?. This place is a great place for learning, play and growth and I am very glad I found it.

We moved our son from another preschool to come to Kids R Kids RTP and it has been the best decision we’ve ever made. Transitioning our son to Kids R Kids was very smooth thanks to the wonderful, friendly staff at Kids R Kids. Our son was very unhappy at his previous school and had lost all faith in teachers and learning. We started to look around at schools in the area and Kids R Kids was the best by far. We were first impressed by the friendliness of all the staff, not just the directors. Everyone that we met, whether passing in the hallway or walking by their classroom, greeted us with a “hello” or “hi”. This meant a lot to us because any one of the teachers could be interacting with our child at some point and to know that everyone is kind and friendly instantly put us at ease. We love that Kids R Kids have Watch Me Grow which allows parents to see their child in real time throughout the facility any time of the day. This level of transparency is far and beyond what we expected and it is greatly appreciated. Our son made a complete 180° once he began preschool at Kids R Kids. Our son enjoys coming to Kids R Kids every morning. Our son has awesome teachers that he loves and he talks about them all the time at home. When we pick our son up in the evening, he is excited about things he has learned and projects that he has done. We only wish had made the change sooner!

Kids R Kids has become an extension of our family. We have had both of our children at Kids R Kids RTP for over 5 years and throughout the years they been have super supportive. We were first really attracted to the ability to monitor our children throughout the day online (yes a little over protective) , but we became more at ease after working with the family oriented staff. The administrative staff is very professional and accessible which is important to us. My wife loves the seasonal events which really have created a really nice culture between the parents, teachers, and students. The education of which both children have received has really set them up to excel in Kindergarten and First grade. I wanted to write this review because initially as newcomers we were looking for a daycare to have our children attend and not have to worry about their well being and we found it at Kids R Kids!

Our family has had a great experience with Kids R Kids RTP. The level of care the teachers provide our kids is great. Our daughter has learned so much while at this daycare. We know she will be ready when she goes to Kindergarten in 2014. Also, the teachers will always let us know how our children day each day. We really enjoy having our two-year old at Kids R Kids. He has learned a ton and has a lot of fun - and I love that he comes home with a write-up of what he has done every day. Most important to us, the staff are amazing and he cant stop talking about how great his teachers are. Plus, its been great that the school is so committed to local and organic agriculture.

Great place to start for a preschooler. After trying many local childcare centers Kid r kid rtp is so far the best. My daughter loves her teachers, yes she has 2 teachers. The best part is I get to see her live on camera while am at work.

My son currently attends Kids R Kids in Durham NC. He is 2 years old and has been attending the school for about a year. I was very hesitant about returning back to work after being home for a year, mainly due to my fears of Daycare. I looked at several daycares in the RTP area, and I was the most impressed with Kids R Kids. I have had a wonderful experience with them, and my son truly has enjoyed his classes and teachers. I have enjoyed the ability to check on him throughout the day with the camera system- I would give this place an A+++

How do I know this is a great place for my kids? From the fact that I always have a hard time getting them to leave at the end of the day! And on weekends they keep asking when they have school again. The teachers are always professional, and the kids love them.

We have had our son here since he was six months old. Before he was born my husband and I spent many hours touring various daycares in the area. A friend recommended we check out Kids R Kids and we are so glad she did! I was apprehensive about putting my child in daycare, he is not a crier and I was afraid he wouldnt get much attention. I shouldnt have worried. From day one our little guy was loved on, fussed over and spoiled to his hearts content. The teachers in the infant classroom were amazing with him. He progressed MUCH faster being around the other children than he would have at home by himself. They spent a lot of time reading to him, playing with him and just loving on him. He is now in the 12-18 month classroom and the teachers there are great. They are patient with him and we have seen him advance even more. We are so pleased with the care he has gotten at Kids R Kids. We wouldnt think of moving him elsewhere.

We have been with Kids R Kids of RTP for 6 years now. I could not imagine sending my children anywhere else. My son has made life long friends here and my daughter loves her teachers!!!

My experience with Kids R Kids (RTP) has been great. As a parent you try your best to find a school whom you can trust and one that you think is best for your child. Before enrolling your child in any school for the first time you wonder how will they respond to a new environment especially being so young. My son was at the age of 1 when he enrolled at Kids R Kids (RTP). He never was around other kids his age and the only playmates he knew were mommy and daddy. The first week I worried because he cried so much and everytime I watched him on camera he was standing in the same place by hisself. As time went on he was more active running all over the place. The teachers cared for him and loved him as if he were there own. You cant help but build a relationship with the teachers because as the old saying goes, It takes a village to raise a child. My son loves school and he is learning so much. It impresses me everyday seeing his growth and what he knows. I mean the kid can count in Spanish, say his ABCs all the way through, and does not want to leave when I pick him up. He is 2 years old now and has many friends. I recommend Kids R Kids (RTP) because the environment is friendly, fun, and educational.

My son has been at KRK RTP for two years, since he was an infant. His teachers have all been loving, experienced, and skilled at caring for young children. He has thrived on the curriculum and social interaction that he gets here, and he loves the many available activities, including music, dance, and arts and crafts. The cameras allow me to see him during the day and provide added reassurance. All in all, we have been very happy and plan to enroll his little brother here as well.

Ive been very happy with the care and attention provided at Kids R Kids RTP. The teachers are great and have really helped my daughter get ready for both socially and academically. I know she still miss her teachers and faculty members who took great care of her.They have several large play areas outside and a water play area in the summer months that my daughter loved it.The staff and teachers welcome and encourage parental involvement, and they have numerous small holiday events, parades, spring and fall events where parents can attend to get a better feel for KrK RTP, the teachers, and how the kids interact and play together.Picking the right daycare or school for your child can bring quite a bit of anxiety with it, but I havent had any reservations or concerns with Kids R Kids since choosing it. I strongly recommend this place for all age kids.

I cant say enough good things about Kids R Kids - RTP. We have two children who currently attend (our oldest since age 2 in August 2013 and our youngest since age 6 months in June 2014). During that time, we have watched our sons blossom academically and socially! This school also provides lunch and morning and afternoon snacks (theres a full kitchen on-site) and serve a variety of healthy foods for the children!One thing to look for when selecting a pre-school environment is employee turnover. Im happy to say the vast majority of the teachers who were present when we started nearly 3 years ago are still there.I also really appreciate the way all of the staff knows and cares for our children. Everyone, including the owner, director, administrative staff and teachers, know us and our children and always greet us with smiles.The care and concern they show our children is second to none. Earlier this year, there were tornado warnings for the area and they had to shelter in place. Our youngest was there at Kids R Kids while I was at an appointment across town with my older child. Although - like any mother - Id much rather have had both my children and husband with me riding out the storm in the safety of our home, I was not the least bit worried about our youngest.I wasnt thrilled with the idea of him being away from me, but I never once doubted whether he was in good hands. I was never concerned with whether the children would be protected and I think that speaks *highly* of the love the staff shows the children.That said, as important as it is the staff genuinely loves the children, I have to acknowledge their awesome curriculum as well. Although the children learn a LOT through play, their playtime is carefully planned to follow their curriculum. They have managed to find a way to teach the children without creating a pressure-cooker environment where academics are forced and childrens exploratory nature is stifled. And they make sure your child learns during the entire time theyre enrolled. Even the babies learn sign language - I was really impressed with what our children learned!Our oldest will be well-prepared for kindergarten and Im quite sure our youngest child will also be well-prepared when it is his turn to go to kindergarten. I highly recommend anyone looking in the area to take a tour and ask questions. The offerings (including some specials and a camera where you stream a live view of your childs classroom, cafeteria, playground, etc during the day) are great and theyre very competitively priced considering all your child gets and the peace of mind you receive as a parent knowing your children are in the most capable hands.

Believe it or not, I am highly influenced by reviews. For whatever reason, the previous reviews did not discourage me from calling to inquire about the school. I am guessing it was because I more unhappy with the daycare my daughter was attending at the time. When I called, I spoke with a woman who was not only professional but lively. When I told her of my current situation and the struggle I was having concerning our financial situation, she immediately transfered me to the owner. The owner was patient, concerned, and generously offered to work with our family. I never once felt money took precedence over the welfare of my child. I have yet to experience this at Kids R Kids, RTP. As for the turnover rate, I just havent seen anything to prove that kind of activity with the children or teachers. My child has had the same teachers from day one. The children are all the same.Reviewer #2 speaks of low teacher morale. This week is teacher appreciation week and if you saw all of the events the teachers had planned for them this week, you would want to work there! Seriously, today is Bingo day for the teachers and the prizes are amazing. A large screen TV, huge gift baskets, etc. Not to mention the Moms breakfast in the lobby for Mothers Day.Reviewer #3 states a long waiting list. Once again, we had absolutely no issues reserving the date we wished to enroll our daughter.Maybe ownership has changed, I am not sure, but everything I have experienced at this school so far has been a wonderful experience. Daddy/Daughter dances, Spring and Fall Flings, Christmas programs and picinics with the parents. Its a joy to have all these wonderful events.My child loves her school, loves her teachers, and loves all of her friends. I compliment the owner, the staff, and I highly recommend this school.Its been almost seven months since my child started, and honestly the previous reviews have really bothered me, so much, that after all this time, I felt the need to go back and set the record straight!
