My sister has been at the school since 1:30pm trying to move in but has been standing in line and is still in line at 6:17 pm for to get rapid testing! Very disorganized and inconsiderate of people’s time. How hard it is to have multiple testing centers when an abundance of students are moving in. My parents have paid too much money to deal with this!
The best University in the world. Professors that care and just a great place for learning and growth for minds that want to soar like an Eagle. This is where Eagle Pride is amplified. Academics, athletes, and service. This university is the heart of Durham. From Law to Business to Education and much much more!
Great school, great people. My daughter cant wait to call NCCU home!
Lets see how it goes for our son. Good hbcu
Love it thats my school first day was 👌
I was fortunate enough to visit my grandson i had a nice time but the dorm he stay in is outdated didnt have time to visit the whole campus but he said it want be long before he be in the new one
Great place to attend school, great school
Its a beautiful campus !!
Dope spot great atmosphere
Some truly exellent lecturers - especially Tonny Sangutei - makes math understandable!
HBCU school located in Durham NC.Great Nursing School and Law School.
Great HBCU, welcoming family atmosphere! As a parent, I appreciate the organized drop off & pick up during these days of COVID-19.
I went there as a Poll Observer for Precinct 55-49 which is located at the NCCU Law School Justice. Outside there was a DJ doing a Rock The Vote. Parking was easy for voting. They had 2 lots designateed for voters. It would be helpful to have greater civic education in schools.
Extremely nice campus....
Very beautiful campus!
Really nice urban campus setting!
Very good and smooth...
Best and most beautiful college campus I have ever seen. And I have been to over 13 HBCUS.
The reason I went there was to get my books and laptop for the upcoming school year and so when trying to find my way around the signs and helpful teachers were amazing. I would say that it isnt parking friendly though
Definitely got my degree worth it! Going back for my masters.

I love walking the campus
This is my Alma Mater to say the least however; it is a disservice to the students how some of the offices conduct day to day business. My cousin went through the admissions process and trying to get a schedule, it took 2 months. Her advisor, Jason Etheridge, who insisted to be called Mr. Ethridge, was blatantly disrespectful and since, she has requested a new advisor and is now in limbo for her classes for Spring 2020.
All PRACTING COVID RULES AND RESTRICTIONS. GLAD OF THAT. KEEP THE GOOD WORK UP STUDENTS AND STAFF. THIS WAY WE CAN GET PAST THIS HORRIBLE PANDEMIC.
NCCU prepares its students for success in all walks of life. I am a double eagle (Undergraduate / Graduate Degrees). Upon graduating, I had several jobs lined up in addition a network of professors that was dedicated to teaching me anything that I needed and wanted to know. Beautiful Environment and City as well. You will not regret going here. 6 Stars
Very beautiful college
Great campus.
NC CENTRAL UNIVERSITY SOAR
Its okay I guess
My daughter attends this college and her professors are great. She loves her professors. NCCU is a wonderful school to send your child. The administration and professors really do care about their students.
I attended North Carolina Central University and graduated in May 2009 debt-free with a B.A. in English (writing concentration). I was a member of three honor societies and president of the college radio station; I graduated with honors. In fact, the career center helped me gain my first government position as a student technical writer. This is a great school and Im glad that I had the opportunity to attend an HBCU.
Love these kids
Dope school
My son his having an awesome time learning and meeting new people
I am so disappointed in the admission process at NCCU. I applied for the summer I session on April 8, 2018 and still have not received any updates on my portal status as of today which is May 28, 2018. I have called admissions on several different occasions with little or no information regarding my status. The experience with this school has been absolutely dreadful!!! So unprofessional.
Worst graduation ever. How you make to many tickets?!? Hot mess. Unc and duke probably don’t have this problem. Mothers crying because they can’t see their child graduate. All this money we have paid. Man hbcu gotta do better
This was my dream school , I came as a transfer student in the spring at the time my financial aid was still pending I was told that I would be fine and he awarded as soon as possible. In my first 3 weeks I went up to financial aid EVERYDAY because I was always missing something this school is VERY unorganized. I was dropped from my classes due to no financial aid and almost kicked out of my dorm because of them. Here it is going on bottom of week 3 and I still have NO books , it took me 3 weeks to receive my meal ticket as well so I had to buy my groceries myself. This school set me up for failure before I could even try. Now I have to play catch up and I still have no books at all. If I knew then what I know now I would not be attending this school.
Great!!!
This is the most disorganized school I have ever seen. The staff in all the major offices are lazy and basically get paid to sit and collect a paycheck. They sit and let the phone ring all day long, meanwhile ruining peoples paychecks and ruining lives. I completed their work study pack, got approved to worked, worked 4 weeks straight and now no pay. I have to wait 2 more weeks to pay my bills over another NCCU screw up. When I graduate in the fall there better not be a soul contacting me to donate.
This is a beautiful historical campus. I had a wonderful experience throughout the campus for my degree!
I think NCCU has a beautiful campus, lots of friendly staff.I Love HBCUS. My son will be attending there in the Fall 2017. We are so excited. Go Eagles!!!
Horrible business they never answer the phones I tried every department damn near and they never answer I left messages and they never answer back. How do you run an institution with out communicating with people trying to enroll they are a bunch of stupid ASSES
A wonderful institution of higher learning with great professors, excellent resources, and a devoted staff. As an HBCU, its also full of history and character.
Institution rich in the tradition of historic Durham and North Carolina. Beautiful and growing campus located at the entrance of downtown.
Beautiful building and nice facility on campus
Very helpful
Horrible institution.Only 2 programs are worth commuting to school for:JazzLaw
They have one of the worst websites Ive seen. Its disorganized, hard to navigate and there is not enough information on how to get an online Masters of Education degree.
Ive worked here for over 10 years. While not an alum, this institution has produced achievers and world changers.
Great!
