This school is such a let down. I see no future for this school or the employees that work here.

I was thinking of enrolling it this problem with lack of communication is the problem why this school is a fail. Maybe fix this problem and train these admission counselors how to do there job right, obviously no complaints would be made. Focus on how to be nice and informative to students and future students enrolling into the school. Fix the entire process of enrollment, is a mess as is . Enough is enough already to many complaints clearly you need to address this and come up with a better plan.

Proud to have completed my BSN through WGU in 2019. Worked hard for my degree but WGU made my degree attainable and convenient. YOU are the only person holding yourself back! Talk to a recruiter, ask questions, pick your start date and GO FOR IT! 💗

I was super excited to start this program due to the way I could take as many classes as I wanted in a semester for a flat fee. I am going back to school for my job, it was a requirement in order to get my promotion and move forward with the company.Starting out it seemed like a very easy experience and like everything would go well. I had multiple emails and a phone call with my enrollment counselor. My enrollment counselor left me a voicemail stating that my readiness exam needed to be completed by Monday and if it wasnt my start date would then be pushed back. I completed all tasks and emailed my counselor and even acknowledged her voicemail stating that all tasks needed to be turned in by Monday and confirming my start date. She emailed me back and said shed be in touch after she received the scores. Days go by so I log into my WGU portal to see that I have a new counselor. I emailed him and get no response. I set up a meeting and he calls me. I say what has happened and tell him about how my last counselor said I needed everything turned in by a certain date in order to start. He informs me that I can not start that date and must now start at a later date (He was very rude and abrasive and offered zero help). He informs me that me emailing is not good enough I need to call them. So now my employer thinks I no longer want this promotion and are now looking at other candidates. My new enrollment counselor said multiple times how they will NOT respond to an email (not sure why an online school does not respond to emails). Overall this has been a terrible experience and I am upset that I have signed up. You are better off with a traditional school that offers online learning/ evening programs. This is nothing but a gimmick. I do not recommend.

First let me counteract on a previous review that gave a 1 star- If it was important you shouldve scheduled an appointment via phone rather than wait for an email as facility gets bombarded with emails daily. Just my two cents on that topic. Rather unfair to give such a review based on that issue. Now for my own review. I have been with WGU for almost 4 months and have been completely pleased with staff and the education ive been receiving. The course work is challenging but not impossible. My mentor is always positive and helps me whenever i need it. Getting enrolled was lengthy, that was the only downside. Scholarships and financial aid are readily available. Youll have better chances of getting accepted if you are coming in with transferrable credits. Just a heads up.

Daughter goes here. Great college, mentors, and staff. Accreditation and reputation is ultimately what made us choose this school. Night owl pride! Up to date textbooks and great scholarship opportunities as well.
