My son’s Favorite class and favorite Sir- Master Kang

Don’t take your kids there. Kang’s son hits the students in the head.Replying to your reply :No, he was not hit with a prop. He was hit on the head hard by your son. It didn’t seem like that was part of training. He is a 9 year old. It’s disgraceful.

For the person that gave Master Kang one star. He understands what he is doing and the childrens health is his utmost concern. There will be moments where someone gets hurt by accident or even intentionally while sparring- but otherwise you cannot learn efficiently. If you think getting hit in the head lightly with a Styrofoam noodle will cause any damage at all, then maybe you should educate yourself. If you dont want your son/daughter getting hurt go take them to ball room dancing or some other sports where there is less contact maybe you can find another reason why they shouldnt do that sport. Taekwondo is both a Martial Art and COMBAT sport. I have never seen Master Kang do anything out of line in regards to physical trauma with both adults and especially children he teaches.I am not even a student at this school, but any trained eye will see that Master Kang is a higher echelon instructor along with his father, Grandmaster Kang. Even if you do not believe me, their credentials speak much louder than my words ever could -especially when you see them execute in person.I have witnessed my best friend transform from a decent fighter into an EXCEPTIONAL fighter and martial artist within only a few months of training. I am not saying everyone will progress at the level that my friend did, but if you are in the area either in Staten Island or Edison New Jersey and you are looking for OLYMPIC level Taekwondo instructing - These guys are the ones to go to.
