As a student of this school from last 3+ years, my son has grown a lot. School has contributed a lot in building positive attitude, strength and commitment in my son. It is one of the best schools for taekwondo. The teachers are passionate and dedicated. Even during the the pandemic the teachers made sure all students continued receiving their training. They adjusted schedules did online meetings, you tube practice videos for students. Not only has my daughter learned taekwondo I can also see a difference in her discipline and concentration.

My son has been attending this school for a few years now and is on his black belt now. the pandemic took some adjusting to but right now the remote classes are going good. of course, in person is always better but weve been happy with the online classes. They are very accessible although the board breaking is the part where you miss the in-class experience the most. Overall a great school with really good teachers that care.

My daughters have been going to United Black Belt for over a year and the experience before the pandemic as well as during the pandemic is great. My daughters have developed self confidence, respect for others, so many other values that we normally take for granted. I was pleasantly surprised with the means and methods that the Masters have implemented since the pandemic and the innovative methods for online classes. They have ensured interested children and families get the best experience and the learning is continuous and the children progress. The in person classes also follow CDC guidelines and protocols and the center is safe as well. The children enjoy the experience and as a parent I definitely feel relieved to know my children are in good hands, are learning good values and continue to develop inain every way. In person classes are also available and are completely compliant with health protocols. United Black Belt is a good Taekwondo school. The masters are highly skilled and professional and are dedicated to teaching their students respect, improving students physical skills, and modeling good social behavior. The facility is simple, clean and efficient. They are able to manage a large group of children efficiently. Even during Covid, they have online sessions so that the kids dont lose practice. Online sessions have been great and the kids get called out if they do something good or not so well. My son has been going there for six years and is now 2nd degree black belt. I have seen him slowly gain strength, and continue to grow physically, show discipline and restraint. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to introduce martial arts to their kids as young as age 4 or 5.

Both my kids are students of United Black Belt taekwondo school in Edison NJ. My son completed is black belt level 1 and my daughter has been a student for last couple of years now.In addition to learning taekwondo and regular exercise, the school stresses on self discipline and mentally strength as well. The school instructors are very professional and motivate the students to work hard and give their best.This year, COVID posed a lot of challenges for the school and students alike. But, United Black Belt administration quickly turned around the situation and continued the classes online. My kids are getting the much needed exercise and learning while at home as well. Kudos to the instructors on this and their regular communication and coordination with parents on this front. Keep up the good job!

This place has become like a second home for me. I started attending taekwondo over a decade ago, and while everyone already knows how much a student can excel, physically and morally, through this school, not everyone realizes that amazing bonds are made in this school too. I have a large friend group that includes a lot of my peers from taekwondo, and additionally, I have a great bond with both Master Eugene and Master Un, two of my mentors who I can say have done the most they can to push me to my fullest potential, while also ensuring my safety and caring for me in times of need. I would never think about attending a different school than United Black Belt.

I started at UBB as a special belt, but the experiences I have had here have been extremely beneficial and memorable. I first started coming to this school when I was about 6 years old and 10 years later, Im still coming to this same school. To put into words the amount of things this place has taught me over the past decade is very hard to put into words, but Ill try anyways. My parents first enrolled me at this school with the main purpose of exercise. Over the years, however, it has taught me so much more and means so much more to me now. All the masters Ive had here throughout the years all put in 100% of their effort to make sure the students get as much as possible from each class. Its true that they can get strict at times and we do sometimes have to do an extra couple of push ups or what not. However, that just comes with the sport of Taekwondo itself. Only a good master will be strict and push you to do your best and you can be sure Grandmaster Kim, Master Un, and Instructor Eugene will do just that. It was this strictness that allowed me to develop some of my best characteristic as a person such as determination, discipline, honesty, hard work, and more. The list goes on and on. These characteristics has helped me in all aspects of my life and is what makes me the person I am today. Thats what sets this school apart from every other taekwondo school. Sure, the other schools can teach you some kicks and punches or whatnot, but they can never match the discipline and the integrity and overall life skills you will learn from United Black Belt.The masters themselves are all highly trained as well and you can bet that they teach well too. I had ended my taekwondo classes 1 year ago due to personal reasons. I did not like the classes due to the teachers being unreasonably mean to me. I had given this place 1 star. Months later, the Grandmaster of this place had contacted me, using the number we had given him when i first enrolled there, asking why I had given the place 1 stars. I wanted to tell him, and i thought he was genuinely asking me what they did wrong. Boy was I wrong. They forced me to change the review to 5 stars. I was so scared. I quote: I want you to change the review now, I will stay on the phone and do not hang up until I see the review changed. I did as he said since he had instilled fear into me since day one.What happened to the core values of taekwondo? I should be free to express my opinion. No one should be able to take that away from me, and not especially when they use fear and intimidation. I hate this place and it has instilled a deep hatred of martial arts in me.

This is possibly the best Martial arts school in the neighborhood of Edison I would say. Come during the evening time and check out for the number of students, which proves how good the school is. The instructors are well trained and the facility is excellent. If you are regular to the class, then you would get the promotions in time. My son is learning at this center and he is already a Junior Black belt. I would definitely recommend this center for getting the TKD training.

Wonderful school. My son is 5, with a speech disorder and this school has been such a blessing for both of us. Im not sure what theyre better at, taekwondo, or teaching children, but I do know taking my son here is one of the best things I have ever done for him. Places charge twice as much for half the quality.

Best Taekwondo ever best teachers.

First of all, this review is NOT about the quality of instruction of the school.There are numerous times when I visit this strip mall and theres traffic right in front of the school. Some drivers picking-up students are too lazy to park their car in the designated parking spaces. Some wait for the students right in front of the school causing traffic.
