I want to give this place more stars because of the selection in some isles. But in others, I havent seen a dollar tree more messy, disorganized and lacking in variety and quantity. Specifically the stationary/school supplies isle- tornado with many missing items usually found in dollar trees. Then on the other hand the isle with laundry supplies/car stuff etc was well stocked and a varied inventory. Im sure they probably are understaffed and people just rip through that place but still. I can say the employees were friendly. One lady went above and beyond what most dollar tree employees would care to go.

As Dollar Trees go this store stands out. The employees are very nice and theyre always very busy. I highly recommended I drive past to Dollar Trees to get to this one big always well stocked.

Everything is an absolute, freaking mess. At least the employees were nice enough.

ITS MY FIRST STOP GO TO PLACE FOR ALMOST EVERYTHING THATS SMALL ENOUGH TO CARRY, INCLUDING SOME COLD & FROZEN FOOD. I HAVE YET TO SEE A LOWER PRICE ON ANYTHING I EVER PURCHASED THERE. ALSO, MOST THINGS ARE EQUAL IN QUALITY TO SPECIALITY STOES!

I love this store. They always have a lot of good products and really and truly, you cant beat the prices. Where else can you get a newspaper or a 7 pound bag of ice for a buck? Plus the store is always clean and the clerks are nice. Id be bummed if the government took this place away too! Lets keep or fingers crossed that that doesnt happen!!

I visit this store at least 4 times a week and always greeted by very nice employees but never enough lines opened and the store isn’t very clean. I have been going to one located 7 miles away so that I don’t stand in line 20 min.

I went to get cards since they are Hallmark and only 2 for $1. A little crowded so not to much social distancing. People were wearing masks though! Didnt spend a lot of time in there. I just love their cards!!

The Dollar Tree on Fletcher Parkway in El Cajon is absolutely filthy. Ive seen cleaner floors in gas station bathrooms. I mean it is so dirty in there. I dont know if these stores are independently owned Or what but good grief the sidewalk was cleaner than the store floors🤢

Dollar Tree is an awesome store for those of us who dont have a lot of money thats what we need and I think Dollar Tree.

I love my store! My co-workers are great and we take pride in our store. We’ve been going through a lot of changes lately, as well as having our workload doubled due to Covid, but we are all still giving 100% to keep our store tip-top! It is one place I can go and know that they will always be happy to see me. We have new associates that are not only new to Dollar Tree but new to the work force itself. They are very kind natured and eager to please. The majority of our customers are so kind and extremely empathetic to our situation of being understaffed and under new management. They know we give up so much of our family time, as well as, our sleep and personal time, to keep our store open for our clients and employees. We dont quit because we all want everyone to enjoy their experience here, giving us the opportunity to work in a place that we can be proud of. Whether your an associate or a customer, we work relentlessly to make our store safe, stocked and clean. I cant say enough how much I appreciate our customers and thoroughly enjoy seeing our regulars! This is the closest dollar tree to my house, I’m always greeted upon walking in, I come here for the spicy chicken sandwiches which are bomb, and the knock off takis which are 3x better, the store is always well stocked and CLEAN. Staff is always super friendly.

Outstanding customer service. I called this El Cajon store looking for a quantity of a particular item. I had called many other D.T. stores with no luck. The manager Claudia checked and confirmed. I picked them up and was pleased that I didnt have to wait to order online. And of course the price was great. Thanks D.T..

So much to buy at these stores !!! And instead of getting 2 small bags for $60.00 you can get 7-8 bags for $40.00 were always surprised how much you can actually get!

This is one of my favorite Dollar Trees to go to. Since I only work about 2 blocks away I usually stop here on the way home to pick up a few things I might need. They have a very large selection on everything that you might need from laundry soap toothpaste snacks kitchen cookware party supplies you name it. You should definitely stop by once just to see. Theres also a Little Caesars and a McDonalds in the same Center.

The store was clean . The employees were polite and processed people quickly.

This store has all my party goods. Balloons, streamers, gift bags, bows, ribbon. And when a holiday comes around they have the best decorations. Store manager Stephanie is always so polite and helpful towards me.Her employees are also very helpful, when I cant find something they search heaven and hell for me. To name a few, employee Claudia is always working hard cleaning the store, making it look presentable for customers, and one of the employees went out into the rain to find me a cart. I offered to give them a tip and they said just keep coming back, because they would rather see a good customer again and again than have a tip. Very satisfied. Treat them with a smile and they will treat you the same.

Everything at Dollar Tree is actually $1 and they have some really great items. However, some items are a lower quality. Use good judgement when purchasing here but you can definitely get some great deals. Most of the girls are very polite and helpful.

Its a dollar store get stuff for a dollar. Good selection on glassware and coffee mugs. Great for little item for party bags that will not break the bank. School supplies are cheep here as well and sometime you can find a good book.

Thirty minutes before closing was a good time to go!

Pretty good. 99 cent only is bigger and better. This store is good if you are driving by and need a few things. They have cheap stuff for kids parties including decorations, gift bags and small items.

I went for balloons and they didnt have hardly any of the published balloons. Employees were rude. Didnt say Hi and then just walked away glad its not the one by my house.It is very close to mall and that is a positive.

Just went to the dollar store in El Cajon ca 796 Fletcher Parkway they had six shopping carts for the whole store, 4 was being used by customers , 1 had a case of baked beans in it one had some other stuff in it up by the register , I ask if I could use one since I start my weekly shopping here and I was told no , they are using them to stock shelves, so much for customers coming first nice , so I left to never return

I like this place most of the time. You get what you pay for. So I think you should really consider what youre buying beforehand. I dont apprieciate the non-customer service Ive seen almost everytime Ive been there. They ring you up at the register like theyve had a rough morning (hangover or something). Like WE are bothering tTHEM for having us come to their registers to spend our money. When you see them walking working around the store; they ignore customers, no smiles/eye contact like a normal human being & just keep walking. I hope all this constructive criticisim is really considered & fixed or else more & more people will just do more online shopping & more stores will probably go out of business.
